   Always a great experience and great times!!! Loved the table chef and his personality and humor. He did great! A little spendy for 4 people to eat as it was just under $300 for us with tip ($297). But we love their food!

   Disappointed to see that Benihana is now including a 20% "service fee" that is NOT part of gratuity. A portion of it is apparently distributed to staff (including chefs and service staff), but it is not a gratuity. We had two alcoholic beverages, two entrees, and I had a $30 off birthday coupon and with taxes, fees and tip (which we included because we refuse to stiff service staff), it was $200. We will not be returning until this service fee is removed. It is competely unfair to the service staff to call something a SERVICE fee but not distribute it entirely to the SERVICE staff. I imagine their tips declined dramatically when this fee was instituted as folks see service fee and assume a tip was included. The only descriptor was a sign with small font at the front of the restaurant that I am sure most people don't read. I can't believe servers still work here and I hope they find somewhere else where they will receive all of their tips.

   I come here at least once a year for a special occasion, the food is always so amazing, is it a bit expensive sure , but you definitely get what you pay for, I have eaten at other locations in Las Vegas, California, and I can honestly say, this location in Maple Grove MN has had the best flavor, including fresh shrimp, Best Filet mignon, best fried rice and also, classy, classy servers, clean environment and just overall 5 stars in my book! Thank you for making our dining experience a beautiful one again as always , it Was a special day/dinner and you helped us make it exactly what we hoped for !!

   The chef was great and funny. However my son, the birthday boy ordered lobster and it was quite smelly. Later in the day he started to complain about his stomach. Needless to say he ended up sick. He was the only one who ate lobster and the only one to get sick. I’ve been increasingly disappointed in Benihana’s over the past few years. I expect this will be the last time we celebrate at this restaurant. Which, in a lot of ways is very sad since we’ve been celebrating his birthday there since he was five.

   Shout out to Tiffany and the other servers who came out to sing my 1 year old nephew Happy Birthday! They were delightful and really made our day. We encountered a separate issue, so unfortunately will not be back.

   We had an early reservation on a Tuesday evening. Our party of three had our own chef. It was awesome. He was able to direct his entire presentation to only us. Our meals were great.

   very expensive and we should have been told part of tip was included in bill-the fried rice should have been included in the meal-I would not order the fried rice again-too bland and mushy-high noise level-tables are way to close together

    Here for Mother’s Day, made reservation on open door, chef was Lamar, great food and service was great, forgot the waitresses name but she was 8 months pregnant. You get a lot of food for your money!!!
