    We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes at the table before the chef finally came out. She seemed very inexperienced and did not provide much of a show. Also didn’t cut the Zucchini or add any seasoning to it so it was hard to eat. The server kept apologizing for the wait and finally stopped coming to our table. She said they were short staffed. We booked the reservation over a week in advance they should be prepared

    I didn't like the experience I had at dinner at Benihana, the food was very greasy, the service of the food preparer was horrible, the amount charged is not worth what was consumed, in short, much lower than we expected

    Food and service was good. Unfortunately we didn’t get seated until 30 minutes after our reservation and food and took a while before food came out. With a hungry 6 year old it made it challenging.

    Ordered something different last night. I got the Hibachi salmon. It was delicious! I usually get Land and Sea which is always good. I didn’t know that you could get the “Yum Yum” sauce on your salad and I liked that better than the ginger dressing. We had two kids, ages 5 and 7 at our table and they always have fun. Our server was Kendra and she was awesome taking our orders and keeping our drinks filled. Maya was our Chef and she was lovely and very talented. I was celebrating my Bday and it was a very nice evening.

    Always a great experience and great times!!! Loved the table chef and his personality and humor. He did great! A little spendy for 4 people to eat as it was just under $300 for us with tip ($297). But we love their food!

    Disappointed to see that Benihana is now including a 20% "service fee" that is NOT part of gratuity. A portion of it is apparently distributed to staff (including chefs and service staff), but it is not a gratuity. We had two alcoholic beverages, two entrees, and I had a $30 off birthday coupon and with taxes, fees and tip (which we included because we refuse to stiff service staff), it was $200. We will not be returning until this service fee is removed. It is competely unfair to the service staff to call something a SERVICE fee but not distribute it entirely to the SERVICE staff. I imagine their tips declined dramatically when this fee was instituted as folks see service fee and assume a tip was included. The only descriptor was a sign with small font at the front of the restaurant that I am sure most people don't read. I can't believe servers still work here and I hope they find somewhere else where they will receive all of their tips.

    The chef was great and funny. However my son, the birthday boy ordered lobster and it was quite smelly. Later in the day he started to complain about his stomach. Needless to say he ended up sick. He was the only one who ate lobster and the only one to get sick. I’ve been increasingly disappointed in Benihana’s over the past few years. I expect this will be the last time we celebrate at this restaurant. Which, in a lot of ways is very sad since we’ve been celebrating his birthday there since he was five.
