Charge you for everything and don’t tell you. We wanted fried rice which we knew it was extra but then they charged us for meat or shrimp on it. The waiter asked us if we wanted chicken, beef or shrimp but did not tell us that was an extra charge in addition to the fried rice up charge. We wanted teriyaki on the chicken and that was extra also. At the end we received our bill and it was 335.00. After checking it they added all kinds of things including adding meals we had not ordered. We called the waiter and asked about the bill and all of a sudden he said sorry all our bills were wrong. He redid them and our bill then dropped about 100 less. Never again will we eat at Benihana. We also were squeezed into a table where I was having to eat with my plate in my hand. No space to move or eat. When we asked the waiter if we could get moved or split his answer was that’s not my job. It was also extremely hot. Very bad experience and can’t recommend it.

We had reservations for 830 and by the time we were seated at our table it was 930. They forgot the birthday. Overall, the experience was poor.

Dated and disappointing come to mind with the food and ambience. Chauteaubriand was not a good quality. Tough to chew. The restaurant looked and felt old. Service however was excellent. Val is a wonderful server and Alejandro gave us a great show.

Everything was great but the food was bland. It had no seasoning and no flavor. My children really didn’t eat and that rare for this place. It just wasn’t good.

My family frequents Benihana (usually Sugar Land) for all birthdays. We usually love the food, service and atmosphere. This particular time, the food was not as good as I’ve experienced in the past. Soup was cold, no food “show”, food temp and preparation lacking sub par and taste was disappointing.

The staff seemed to be moving fast the whole time we were there, even the cook. The food was good. The cook seemed to moved fast and really didn't give the hibachi experience. He was nice tho. My drink was hot, I had to put ice cubes in to cool it. Overall the experience was not the true hibachi I am use too. Overall could improve the customers experiences.

We went for dinner last night and the experience was less than pleasurable. There were 10 or more full hibachi grills and it appeared there were only 2 servers on the floor. We ordered a meal to go, but it was put it to be cooked on the grill in front of us, so we had to box it ourselves. We ordered sushi and had to get with, who I assume was a manager, to bring it to the table. There were several other things we had to ask for multiple times before they were brought out. Again, the experience was definitely not worth what we paid.
