   Everything was great. All the staff was great. The location was lovely looking at the water. We had a reservation and were taken right to our seat. It was a perfect Wednesday night dinner. It is weird to me that teppanyaki has been a weekly go to place my entire life….. And with Benihana they charge you 6$ a person for veggie fried rice. We pay it whatever for the experience…. I guess. Growing up in North Carolina we had go to Japanese on every corner. When I lived in LA, Benihana was the only choice…. Like really unless it was a food truck in Hollywood. All this being said. We love the food. Everything was great. But ideally if you’re local to south Florida venture to teppanyaki that’s not a chain and these weird markups will not exist. But hey, if you’re on Vacay and this isn’t just a week night regular spot! Go all out! Have a birthday! It’s worth it!

   My family and I had a great time! The experience was amazing, the staff were so helpful, attentive and fun. Mr. Tony our Chef was great, entertaining, prepared everything to our liking. The staff come out and sang Happy Birthday, which topped off our night. An amazing Team there at the FTL location.

   I made reservations and arrived early was greeted and seated promptly. The waitress seemed to be new here. We gave our order and when the drinks arrived there was unsweetened tea when we told her she handed us sugar packets. We opted for soda. Then was the soup salad.... we sat there in this restaurant that was pretty empty for what seemed like forever. The items that was stated keeping in mind the drinks were untouched but this cost was 35 dollars. I will never visit this location again.

   Awful. From start to finish. Excessively loud excessively Smokey. The exhaust at our table did not work and smoke was in our face the whole time. We asked several times if something was wrong and was told no . The chefs were loud and obnoxious. Waitress got the order wrong. It was not the typical Benihana experience. No matter what state you are in … you expect the food to and service to be the same . Awful. Don’t go here .

   It takes a long time! They finally started cooking one hour after we were sat. We had a reservation so they knew we were coming. Just plan sit 2-2.5 hours.
