Food was good but the chef we had was lacking in effort. The chef did not "put on a show." He did not make an effort do anything other than cook the food. This was disappointing as it's part of the experience coming to this restaurant. Many other tables did have a chef doing what you would expect.

Fun family dining! Everyone from the 2 year old to the 70 year old enjoyed the dining adventure. Huge fans of the two salt water aquariums!

Sad to say this dinner was not up to standards. Service was slow and server with a poor attitude. My drink, plume wine, was hot and not drinkable. The soup was terrible. Salad great. On the chicken fried rice too much pepper and got diablo (hot cream sauce) on the rice, shrimp, noodles and meat. We didn’t order this!!! Beside some of the shrimp being too “spicy”!!! The shrimp were good. Lobsters same as shrimp got Diablo sauce all over our food. Also we ordered drinks to go but never got them from our server. The chef wasn’t paying attention to our food instead of talking with the other customers. We spent over $400 total and really got the $100 meal. We’ve been going to eat at numerous Benihana’s since 1985 and 97% of time loving it. Probably this is one of the worst meals we’ve ever had. Sad to say if this is what we are looking at for quality of food and service then this will be the last time we eat at Benihana. We don’t want that. We took our first date at Denver Benihana. We don’t want our last one to be at Broomfield Benihana. Forgot one item. The chef forgot the beef so the seafood, vegetables and fried rice all were left seating now the grill to burn!!! Plus seating there waiting for the chef to return not knowing what’s going on and how long is our food was going to burn!!! SAD!!!! We miss the old Benihana. We would have asked for a manager but never saw one. I would have asked the front desk but they were too busy on their phone and cutting up with the other workers. Tried to order shrimp tempura But!, you were out. The hits keep on coming! Well I hope this isn’t our last time eating at any Benihana let alone the Broomfield location. Buyer beware.

We had reservations at 7:15. We didn’t get a cook until after 8. All food was over cooked and garlic was VERY burnt in fried rice. Part of the food was missing leaving people at table just sitting. Would not visit this location again.

Been coming to this location for 20 years. The staff has changed but the food remains consistent. Ask for "spicy" fried rice... they put their Diablo sauce in it, and you won't be able to eat Hibachi fried rice any other way afterwards.

Ben, our chef, was outstanding! He engaged with all the table and had age appropriate jokes. Food was wonderful too! Chelsea, our server was extremely attentive to our needs, in a manner in which not to interrupt our dining experience.

The chef at our table was very sweet to two small-ish children (ages 5 and 8) who were a little skittish about the whole experience. He made our evening a winner!
