   The chef was the only redeemable part of tonight’s experience. We were called in 40 minutes after our reservation, drinks came late, refills forgotten and as soon as food was on our plates the server asked for boxes and was ready to hand out receipts feeling rushed to eat our foods. Had I wanted food to go I would have ordered Grubhub rather than going to a dine in experience. Rarely do I 0 tip but with the rushed service I felt was granted.

   We had a reservation at 5 and arrived to an overflowing waiting room of people waiting 45 mins+ past their reservation time. We had two young children with us, and choose restaurants based on the ability to make a reservation and avoid long wait times. Yet we had to wait 45 mins past our reservation time to be seated (and another 30 mins for food to start). That’s unacceptable, and based on other reviews this is a common occurrence. They need to fix their reservation system and then we’ll be back.

   We had a 6pm reservation and arrived on time; then were told it would be at least another hour before our table would be ready. Our party of 9 actually waited another 1 hour 30 minutes for our table. Absolutely unacceptable. What is the point of having a reservation when a restaurant overbooks this much.

   We had a reservation for 6 for a birthday and we waited 45 minutes. Wayyyy tooo long . Overcrowded, understaffed. Their mistake and they should have made up for that. Instead both our waiter and cook solicited online reviews so they can get rewarded. It was obvious that by this time they were both tired and just trying to be done. Love love Benihana and know they are always behind but this was next level and kind of spoiled the night

   Chef Brady crushed it! JD too. Great time. They ran about 1 hour late on our reservation, but otherwise all stellar.
