   From beginning to end this was a great experience. The "cheese wheel" pasta is delicious. The braised short ribs are incredible. Get some bread and the fried zucchini blossom appetizer. All delicious.

   This food was amazing! We showed up for the gluten free gnocchi! It was well worth the trip! The Bencotto sauce was superb!

   Even though we booked our reservation a while ago we were sat outside in the rain because they were over booked. The hostesses in stead of doing their job were gossiping about the other staff. Talking about how stupid other staff members were and how 4 tables were not assigned and other in house issues. This is now off our list of restaurants.

    My family recently ate at Bencotto to celebrate a college graduation. We were excited to enjoy a nice celebratory meal. The hostess greeted us warmly when we arrived, as did our server. Unfortunately, after the initial greeting, the service wasn't great. The person pouring/refilling our waters kept spilling without acknowledging it or attempting to wipe it up. Much of this could have been avoided if rather than reach across the table, he simply moved to the same side of the table as he was pouring. We also felt rushed as soon as we sat. When our server brought appetizer plates, he sort of tossed them at us. Additionally, one member of our party was still eating her entree while everyone else's plates were cleared. The server then left dessert menus on the table while she was still eating and even came back to ask if we wanted to order dessert while she was still eating. It was not the level of service we were expecting at all. That said, the food was prepared well. We all enjoyed our meals - just not the experience.
