Really excellent food and service. We wish the Restaurant wasn't closing in Madison Park.
Wonderful place on the water in Seattle. I have been to the Kirkland location many times and this one was quiet on a Sunday morning where we could see the water and local quaint street that this establishment sits on. Great food and service will come back for sure.
We enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. The cocktail menu was also very clever. Already recommended this restaurant to several friends. Looking forward to going back again.
The menu description did not match the food served. Food & drinks mediocre. Wait staff nice enough. Disappointed so not returning.
Salmon sandwich is perfect and the paella was amazing! I love it when restaurants know how to really season the food!
Great location; right next to the beach next to Madison Park in Seattle. Food was great.
The location and drinks menu are great; however the ambiance is slightly off due to two large televisions in the inside dining area. The food was reasonably good though a bit pricey for the quality.
We waited for 35 minutes with no service. The wonderful host offered to take our drink order after we flagged him down, but was then scolded for doing so, so drinks never arrived . We literally did not have a single server approach our table for 35 minutes. The restaurant was half empty and the bar was also almost empty, yet everyone working seemed stressed. We finally walked out without a single employee noticing. Overall a bizarre experience.
This is my third visit to this location and it has increasingly gotten worse. As soon as we sat down we felt extremely rushed. The food was just okay and very bland. Drinks were very good.
Went for Happy Hour. Great food and nice Happy Hour selections.
The food was great and the service was impeccable.
The food was okay. Nothing stood out as being delicious.
I ordered the paella, small pieces thinly sliced andouille, few pieces of chicken breast 4 clams, small shrimp & very tail end of salmon that was tough & dry. Lots of yellow rice.
My husband had the seafood cobb - 3 prawns, same dried tail of salmon - he did not care for his entree.
The wait staff were nice.
Held a Baby Sprinkle for my daughter in upstairs private room. Decorated with balloons was beautiful. Service was considerate and wel done. Manager printed private menu. Everyone had wonderful time.
The service was good initially; however, our drinks did not come in a timely manner. When they did, they were wrong. The food finally came out, 3 of the 6 orders were cold, the other 3 were warm . Of the 6 orders placed, 3 were incorrect, 2 were sent back and returned incorrect again. Will not be returning to this establishment.
Awful service! I've been to this restaurant a couple of times now and the service is awful. Food is just ok. There are far better places in Madison Park to eat for the same price or better.
Great service. Great food.
Mark, our waiter, was so SWEET! We were seated in the upstairs room on a large table for our party of 15 - it was perfect. Loved the sliding glass door we could open to bring in fresh air from outdoors and the view of Lake Washington. Really great experience. My dad asked to reserve the same table for our Easter brunch next year. :)
Not great but not bad. The location is nice and the decor is good, but the food is average compared to other places in Seattle.
Quiet place at the end of Madison Park with view of Lake Washington. Good food, a number of seafood dishes, decent drinks. Great place for a lunch with conversation.
enjoyed the ambiance and the food - great location near the waterfront
We had a reservation but there was lots of seating available. Very nice menu with lots of great choices. The tomato basil soup was outstanding and the portions were very generous. The fried chicken was a standout but I'd stay away from the more ethnic dishes as the paella and orange chicken were not as good. Service was very attentive and we couldn't have asked for better.
First time trying. I was impressed and would definitely go back.
We went for lunch. We had a cup of seafood chowder, some fish tacos and a grilled shrimp dish. All had excellent flavors.
The s'more dessert the diner makes themself right at their table! Toasting the marshmallows and creating the treat brought out wonderful childhood memories! Thank you!
It was all fine. The place seemed to be a little under staffed. I ordered two wines off the list that they not longer had. Had the pepper crusted steak which was fine a little too much pepper for my taste. Although the butternut squash soup was actually fantastic, along with the crab Mac N Cheese. Server was nice but had a couple too many tables.
Made a Saturday late morning reservation for brunch. Setting was great - beautiful day with outdoor seating and wall rolled up so even inside enjoyed the sun. Menu is diverse, with a good mix of breakfast and lunch items. Three of us ordered egg dishes, which were all tasty and large portions. One ordered the Seafood Cobb which looked amazing - packed with seafood and again, large portion. Prices were very fair, given how much food arrived. Service was a little slow and it was painful to see people walk into the restaurant and not be greeted right away - the way the entry is set up, staff can't always see when people come in. On the whole a good experience in a nice neighborhood spot - would recommend.
Food was good but service was below average. There were dirty dishes on empty tables. I was served a beer, no glass. Not a problem but not that type of venue.
Good neighborhood restaurant. Comfortable setting, friendly service.
Very good neighborhood spot. Good lunch menus and views from upper floor.
I must say flat breads were super thin and awesome .
Loved the flat breads of all
At first glance this is a descent place. The hostess was very nice and professional. In my opinion, probably the hardest working person there that night. We were offered the bar area upstairs, but opted to sit in the restaurant after standing on the balcony for a few minutes. Once seated, I noticed that there only seemed to be two people serving tables. It took the waiter a little while to get to us. Our appetizer came out about 30 minutes later. While sitting there I noticed the hostess cleaning tables, and picking up around the restaurant. The two servers spent most of there time in a doorway by the kitchen talking; ignoring the food that was being placed on the counter that needed to go out. At one point the waitress was holding a serving of ice cream in her hand for about 5 minutes before taking it to the table next to us, and had the nerve to say the kitchen is taking forever. What ended our night was we witnessed a waitress run her hands through her hair and then cough in them. She then began to talk to the waiter by the kitchen. She started to pick up plates to take to someone's table and grabbed with her bare hands some fries off the counter and put it on the plate. Needless to say that was it for me, I can deal with bad service and I even understand if it's busy, but that was disgusting and should happen anywhere. The wait staff made us feel like we were a burden being there. The food handling incident was disgusting and when I went to speak with the hostess about what I witnessed; I find out the person who did it was the manager!!! I didn't even know what to say so I just walked out. Never again...
Lovely setting. The food was good but nothing special. Our server was polite and efficient. We ate outside and had an obstructed view of the lake.
Service was very marginal. We had folks trickle in and they had to wait too long for drink order and we had to wave the guy down. It was not busy so i would have expected better service. My bill would have been higher and therefore his tip bigger.
Although the food was good, the service was haphazard and the drinks were disappointing (who makes a Bloody Mary with just a slice of lime as the only garnish?) We took visiting relatives to lunch and the electronic music was blaring - had to ask them to turn it down so we could talk.
I hope the restaurant was having an off day. Our meal was good, but not amazing. Bar service was slow, appetizers and meal timing were very poorly coordinated, and I was left wishing I had selected another place to take my parents/family visiting from out of town.
Took more than an hour to get our food while the place wasn't even that busy
On the noisy side. Upper patio dining only suitable for a party of 2 because it's just a counter. It was a beautiful night, the restaurant was full and the sidewalk patio was closed.
This was the first time I had brunch there, a girlfriend and I gave it a try. It was lovely sitting outside on a sunny day. The service was attentive enough.
The food was just ok, nothing special but no big complaints. There are just other places to go for brunch where the food is a little more special.
Delicious food (wow! Stunning halibut), very good service and a charming atmosphere...it's nice to find a quality restaurant in a scenic lakeside location that doesn't sit on its laurels and rely on location only....well definitely be back!
Almost deserted, but good food - we both enjoyed our selection. Our server was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive - which was an art considering the restaurant was so quiet.
I booked Mother's Day brunch here because of an amazing experience I had at this restaurant previously. Unfortunately, I was completely disappointed. Both my parents had issues with their food and my husband said the same dish he got before was not as good. The restaurant was completely full for this holiday and the wait staff looked stressed, but I was so underwhelmed with the inconsistencies between our two visits.
