   One of my favorite restaurants. Not living in Orange County anymore I miss it and come every time I get. So the only thing that’s a negative but not really a negative is that the server forgot to remind us about the soufflé for dessert. That takes 30 minutes to order so they need to put it in so that it will be done in time. And they had a grand Monet one! That would’ve been nice. Other than that, everything was great.

   I just love this place. This was the second year on a row that we came here to celebrate Mother’s Day. We are coming back again next year. Food is amazing and service was great as usual. Complementary valet is a bonus too.

   We went for Mother’s Day Brunch. Probably one of the worst dining experiences we ever had. We weren’t seated until a full hour after our reservation time so they clearly were either overbooked or understaffed or both. After that it was a full 75 minutes until we were able to get our order in. The server was wildly inattentive and forgetful. Parts of the food order were inaccurate. It was a prix fixe to include dessert but we’d been there so long (literally 3.5 hours) that I had to stalk the waiter near the kitchen to demand the check and walk with him to the register to have him run my credit card so we could just get out of there. No manager ever came over to even acknowledge the extraordinary delays let alone apologize for it. I could go into far greater detail but you get the gist. The restaurant ambience is nice but the food is middling and overpriced and the service was truly abysmal. Caveat emptor.

   Been to this restaurant a couple times, food is always great and our server was wonderful. However, we had made reservations for Mother’s Day at 12:30 over a week prior, restaurant called a few days beforehand to confirm. Upon checking in the day of, the hostess, let us know that they had overbooked and it would be an additional hour wait. This is unacceptable and really a disappointment for this caliber of a restaurant. They want to blame OpenTable for this error, however, they are individually calling each group to confirm, you would think they would see the reservations have been overbooked. Again, great food and fantastic service, but making us wait for an hour when you have a reservation during a special day like this was a disappointment. Will rethink coming here for future celebrations!

   Our entire table was impressed with the high quality food and service. It was incredibly busy for Mother’s Day brunch but we never felt rushed and the entire staff was attentive, friendly and professional. Very, very well done!

   The band was great. Service was excellent. We ordered the filet and ribeye and they were cooked perfectly.

    Our server Nila was super personable and attentive. We had the New York strip and it was delicious. I loved the crust. It was super flavorful. The crispy artichoke starter was a win as well! The band was on point and the vibe was hopping! Overall, it was a really great first experience. Thanks Bayside!
