   Only downside is that I found this gem on the last night of the season. Living in NYC I eat out way more than I would like to admit and can honestly say this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Ambience, service and food were spectacular. We were a party of 4. We all had seafood appetizers and seafood main dishes. I couldn't pick a favorite because everything was spectacular (nice problem to have)!

   Spectacular sunset view from the covered but open dining room. This is a real, seafood restaurant with excellent choices and variety of fresh fish, clams, mussels and lobster. This is a gem.

   The food is always delicious, staff great but the evening we went - not so good. I have been there a number of times and always loved - the view, the scene, the food so I was disappointed that the host and our waiter were less than helpful - waited 20 minutes for a drink (I finally had to go up to the host and request a waiter) - no apologies from the waiter - nothing. Talk about setting the tone for the evening and that's the way it went! End of season blahs?

   Ate here two nights in a row, the second night was better than the first, food was good service was friendly and we didn't have to wait as long as the first night. Will go back again next season.

   bug, bugs, bugs!!! sat down and one dropped on my head when i told the staff that the place was full of bugs (there were all over the ceiling they were dismissive and said the bugs congregated around the lights the place is a rip off! $39 for a little plate of food

   The food was very good, bartenders and servers were very attentive but the wait for the food was a little too long (the couple sitting next to us got up and walked out after waiting 30 minutes for their appetizer to show up) a little pricey but given the location it was expected, considering its the end of their season we tolerated the shortcomings.

   Menu has been changed to eliminate some items and raised food price by 15 to 20% on all items except salads. Price increase does not correspond to quality and quantity of food, especially quality. Food what we ordered was blend and tasteless. Hope it was one off day for the chef. We will give another try hoping to see improvements on quality of food. Until then, will not recommend to any of our friends.

   I find that on Mondays and Tuesday's the food is not consistent with what you would get on Thursday-Sunday. . This is also typical with many other restaurants. It's possible the head chef is off those days!!!

    Always a very pleasant time. Excellent food, beautiful setting and very pleasant welcoming and friendly service from beginning to end. Exceptional people. Highly recommend.
