The food was very good, but had to send it back because it was cold. The two waitresses we had were very good and very friendly.
Bay Harbor is *never* a bad idea and worth the drive. Always cool in Cedar Point's off season to make the 'trip' to the point and dine here. Upscale but not ultra exclusive. Not cheapo dining but you get what you pay for. I love grouper oscar myself. enjoy!
The restaurant called me the day of my reservation and told me they had to change it to an hour later. They said they never saw my open table reservation that I had made 3 weeks previously until that day! After 2 phone calls they ended up squeezing us in the lounge at our requested time but the atmosphere was not nearly as nice as the main dining area. Use caution and don't expect to keep your planned dinner time when booking at Bay Harbor. The manager was not very kind and did not care to make things right because of a mistake on their end.
A favorite New Years Eve destination for our family and friends. Food was delicious, service was excellent, atmosphere & environment was festive and comfortable. We will definitely return.
I can not believe that I have lived in the area my entire life (43 years) and didn't know this amazing place existed. The place is beautiful, the menu has lots to offer. Everything we tried was DELICIOUS! Best crab legs I've had in the area.
We made an Opentable reservation and the venue was closed for the season.
Delightful. Food, excellent. Service, wonderful. Atmosphere - quiet enough to hear the conversation, button dull. Will go there every chance I get.
Exemplary service and outstanding food selection. A Cedar Point restaurant open year round. Worth the trip even in the off season.
We had another excellent dining experience at the Bay Harbor. We weren't pleased a couple of years ago, with a new chef and some changes, but we gave them some time and all things are good now. Good wine list and good food, and the view is always first class.
Had the Clam Bake special for $51. Had it before and brought friends this time. Wonderful Clam Chowder, Steamed Clams, then a good size whole lobster, followed by Blueberry Cobbler. No one could eat it all. We all had plenty left to take home.
Delicious food. Beautiful view.
Food given the cost was mediocre at best
The best view in town. The food was mediocre and the prices are outrageous. Great service, good atmosphere, and they were serving a delicious Halloween cocktail.
Exceptional service, good ambiance... and the clam bake special was outstanding. My only regret is I live in Oklahoma.
Stopped in to get away from the crowds. Delighted to experience one of the best dining experiences of our lives. Abby was an incredible server. The food was perfection. Lobster bisque, scallops, grouper - all very unique and wonderful. I really enjoyed the wine flight! Can't wait to go back. Wish we lived closer.
Best chef around-even accommodates a vegan entree request perfectly. Our waitress, Abby, is charming, and we love the scenic sunset views. Just do it, make a reservation and head across the bay.
Ed our server was outstanding as was the food. We celebrated our 44th Anniversary, a night to remember! We would highly suggest Bay Harbor, from the crab cake appetizer, cesare salad, to the grouper and salmon; everything was wonderful. Ed made it very special, thank you!
Everything was wonderful! It is our favorite place to eat, especially during clam bake season.
I got engaged! Was a great night! Had her kids with us to make it more special for her!
Great food!! Great service!!! Great view!!!
Probably one of the better choices to eat if staying on the Cedar Point Properties. The food was fine to good. Nothing amazing. Everyone’s entrees came with the same wild rice mix. Nothing exciting but the food was fine. Very reasonably priced. Nice change after being stuck with TGI Fridays and Perkins or amusement park food.
Everything was excellent! Our meals were fantastic! Can't wait for your clambake season!
The food and service were spectacular. The atmosphere was wonderful and the scenery perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant, whether or not you are visiting Cedar Point or not.
Pleasantly surprised. Great food and service
Have been a loyal customer for over 15 years every week during boating season. Food was always great until last two years. Sadly, it has become progressively worse and have stopped making this our routine stop for Saturday evenings. Hope things improve so we can get back to how things have always been. Note that service is still outstanding and love live music when they show up.
First time at this restaurant and it was great. Everyone was friendly and the service was outstanding. Good food and beautiful view. We celebrated an anniversary there and when we told our server, she brought a complimentary dessert. We wanted for nothing. As soon as we drank our drinks, she was right there to fill them up again. Food came out in a very timely manner and was very good. We will return again this year and we live over two hours away. This is a rare gem.
It was good and we like to come here when we are in the Sandusky area.
Good food & service in a nice setting. Fine dining @ Cedar Point.
Wait staff was Outstanding. Since Bay Harbor is basically on the grounds of Cedar Point - it has that going for it and that is about it. Food was average at best and that is being kind. They did have a unique beer or 2 on tap. Honestly in just about any other market Bay Harbor would have been crushed by the competition.
Was looking forward to a dinner by the harbor. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best and service very slow even on a very empty night. I know that the point is filled with spiders but expected webs to be cleaned off at a restaurant.
Awesome food, great service and perfect location. They made celebrating our anniversary with our kids and gkids special.
Great service but very pricy. We ordered lake perch in August and pretty sure it was frozen. With the restaurant on Lake Erie we expected fresh for $23 per plate.
Confusing to coming into park and have to pay $20 but it was quickly explained this would be refunded and it was. navigated to parking area (you scan in with your receipt). we chose to eat outside next to marina, sunset was pleasant and sounds of rollercoasters behind and their lights coming on also added to atmospherics. We started with caesar salad (excellent, nice light dressing) had prime rib special (excellent) and a grouper oscar (very good). Service attentive, meals came out a bit quickly but we did not feel rushed. Good warm bread with salad/dinner and we spilt a cheesecake desert.
Excellent service, great food, nice views! Enjoyed an evening with family and friends.
Service levels were great and the sea food was excellent. The only thing I would say is the decor is really old and outdated, from the 60s.
Everything was fabulous!!
We ordered apps only....4 between 2 people....escargot, crab cakes, calamari, shrimp cocktail....and had leftovers they kindly boxed up for us. Delicious! Service outstanding. While not the cheapest, the high quality food and attention by servers worth it. "You get what you pay for" indeed. Reservation asking for outdoor table was accommodated. Thx Bay Harbor for a great eve !!
Food was bland, tasteless and way overpriced for what it is. I had the fillet and mashed potatoes, both were very bland. The highlight of the meal was the mac & cheese which looked like Kraft right out of the box. If you guys stay at the Cedar point hotel, I highly suggest looking for dinner options outside of the resort!
Great break from Cedar Point food. Really enjoyed our waitress
The dinner was fine, however prices for cocktails and wine were noticeably far too expensive. Eleven
dollars for a 6oz glass of house wine, and eighteen dollars for two well brand cocktails. We do not pay
that much at the country club , and we get a much better drink! Don't think you will be seeing us again
anytime soon. Someone needs to rethink your business plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
