The lobster and crab legs are the best we have ever had in any location. Our waitress was very professional and the right balance of friendly.
We went for valentine day it is a special spot for my husband and I. We had ur wedding dinner there and our anniversaries and other special occasions
I was so happy to find out that Bay Harbor was open year-round! This will be our new favorite fancy restaurant in the winter!
Absolutely marvelous. Loved the food the view and the staff. Can’t wait to go back.
Started evening with cocktails in the bar by fireplace. Dinner was excellent. Entrees enjoyed Lake Erie perch, steak, 3 vegan pasta entrees, crab cakes. All had salads. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert. Fabulous celebration in a favorite place.
We always enjoy dining at Bay Harbor Inn. The food is excellent and the service is beyond compare.
Great seafood at a very good price! Nice wine. Morgan our server was awesome. Beautiful view.
We came to Bay Harbor for New Year's Eve dinner. I had the king crab legs and my husband had the prime rib and lobster tail dinners. Both were excellent and worth the drive from Mt. Vernon. Great service and a relaxing quiet dinner. The New Year's Eve Party at Lyman Harbor was also great! We'll back next year!
Both meals were prepared and served impressively. The sea scallops in particular were the best we've had in any restaurant. Bay Harbor is a gem and a reason to visit Cedar Point in the middle of the winter.
Awesome as usual!!! We always enjoy our meal whenever we go to Bay Harbor! Our server was awesome - just a great night!!
Our last two visits I have not been impressed with Bay Harbor which is to bad because it used to be one on our favorites for a date night or a special occasion. My husband got to peppercorn crusted steak but it came with no peppercorns and the garlic mashed potatoes used to be amazing, not so much this time. I had the lobster Mac and cheese and the pieces of lobster would have been better if cut up a bit, there was lots of lobster but one bite in particular was the whole claw worth of meat. The escargot is why we go to Bay Harbor but lacked a nice garlic butter sauce, it tasted like just butter.
Love this place. It is the best i town! And frankly, the best nearby. Ranks with the excellent food and service-wise in Erie County and Cleveland.
I took my wife here for her birthday as a special out of town trip. The restaurant was really nice with views of lake Erie. Everything about the food was average and not worth the price. Our steak was under cooked and the side of perch was dry and the coating was thick and crunchy without much flavor. My wife had the chocolate cake for dessert and said it was just okay.
The waiter staff was very friendly and served us well...the took the steak back and had it cooked to the medium we originally ordered.
Overall I would not recommend this restaurant as you can get the same or better quality food for less at other places.
After a day,
Of Cedar Point Play;
The place to dine,
Is at the Bay!
Two friends took my husband and I out for dinner to celebrate my birthday. Our meals were just mediocre at best. What a major disappointment, the quality was not the best. We were supposed to be served vegetables of the day that were green beans and carrots. Upon delivery of our meal, we viewed about 4 long carrots with greens at the top and they were so undercooked that we could not even get a fork into them. We were brought more cooked ones but there was no flavoring on them at all, just plain ole carrots. I ordered my filet medium, just a little pink, no blood which is the way it was served, however, it was very dry and really had no taste. I ate half and took the other half home which when warmed was unable to be eaten and was thrown out. My husband loves Walleye and he likes it sauteed or baked, something other than fried. The menu listed fried Walleye. When the server was asked if it could be sauteed or baked, she replied "No" I don't think they can do that but I will check. We were not informed that they could not do it, it was just delivered fried. We haven't eaten at Bay Harbor for many years and probably will not again unless it is improved immensely. I worked at Cedar Point for 43 years full-time and started in the Food Service Department in 1971. The management in Food Service at that time made sure the employees provided a meal that guest's would rave about to everyone and management from the park was at Bay Harbor to make sure everything was done appropriately and Bay Harbor at that time was one of the best restaurants in the area and guests would stand in line to enjoy a meal there.
The open table app worked great. However, when I arrived the doors were locked as the restaurant was closed. Not even a sign on door to explain. Cannot really rate anything on this experience though prior ones were great
food was very ordinary , could of had same meal at an Applebee's
We enjoyed the whole dining experience. Very nice views, the food was very good. We had lobster and salmon. Both were excellent.
Approximately 30 years had passed since we last dined at Bay Harbor Inn with our young daughter, now grown with a young family of her own. We remembered good food, attentive service, and a quiet refuge away from the activity of the park. This visit did not disappoint. The menu has been updated considerably. We were very pleased with our cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. Our server was knowledgable, gracious and devoted just the right amount of attention to us as we lingered enjoying the view and the atmosphere. A conversation with the executive chef at the conclusion of our meal was a special treat.
As always the food was excellent as well as the service
The bay harbor has been one of our favorite restaurants since we first went to cedar point 25 years ago. We love it .The staff,The food , All Wonderful. Thank You Bay Harbor.
Good location at tourist destination, food was "OK", but not gourmet by any means. Over scripted waitress excessively pushed cocktails, wines and add on's. On this particular night, this restaurant was the only "fine dining" establishment open in the area on a holiday weekend. Great view in a marina waterfront environment.
Food was awful. Sluders didn't come out with right cheese buns burnt. Others food was cold. Patio was dirty with cowberbs and they didn't offer to wipe. Food cold. Very disappointed
If you're at cedar point and want a good meal this is your only option, but food is average and outside tables were covered in spiderwebs, opened the umbrella to keep the sun off and dead bugs like 80-100 were stuck inside the umbrella and fell into my beer- gross.
This was a great experience! Upscale but Family Friendly. I am still talking about (and craving) more of the Heirloom Tomato Carpaccio and everything else we had was great too. Our server was very engaging and went above and beyond the level of service that you typically receive even at other fine dining establishments. As a foody it was really one of the highlights of our trip.
This is my favorite place for a nice dinner when we stay at cedar point.
Great Service and excellent food. Don't pass up the Grouper.
Scallops are always excellent. Grilled marlin was a generous portion with a nice char and a tasty sauce.
Where do I begin. We were on vacation and I was looking forward to this for a long time. I was disappointed. The chef greeted us and I anticipated that this would translate into a wonderful dining experience. My wife's bisque was too salty, her filet mignon was well below our standards. The shrimp cocktail appeared to be frozen shrimp thawed from BJs. Our server was very gracious, however, and that made up for the food.
We had sooooo much fun at Bay Harbor. We were on a mini-vacation at Cedar Point after a 5-day pageant my daughter was in. We decided to take her to Cedar Point and then I had to go on to my high school reunion - altogether a two week trip. This evening at Bay Harbor was such a beautiful break from all the noise and busy-ness and people. It was fairly quiet, with a few tables filling up. The food was awesome. I had the walleye, my daughter had tortellini, and my husband had the fillet mignon. All were delicious. Chef Pete came out to our table to meet my daughter and say hello. Our waitress was so good and kind. Best of all, the live music was awesome! I wish I could remember his name, but he's there on Thursday nights and he plays EVERYTHING!!! My daughter requested "Bad to the Bone" and even though he had never played it, he attempted it and it was great! She got to dance to her song and all the rest that he played that night was just fantastic! Great ambiance on the marina and a nice fire pit on the patio. What could be better?
