Great food!! Great service!!! Great view!!!
Probably one of the better choices to eat if staying on the Cedar Point Properties. The food was fine to good. Nothing amazing. Everyone’s entrees came with the same wild rice mix. Nothing exciting but the food was fine. Very reasonably priced. Nice change after being stuck with TGI Fridays and Perkins or amusement park food.
Everything was excellent! Our meals were fantastic! Can't wait for your clambake season!
The food and service were spectacular. The atmosphere was wonderful and the scenery perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant, whether or not you are visiting Cedar Point or not.
Pleasantly surprised. Great food and service
Have been a loyal customer for over 15 years every week during boating season. Food was always great until last two years. Sadly, it has become progressively worse and have stopped making this our routine stop for Saturday evenings. Hope things improve so we can get back to how things have always been. Note that service is still outstanding and love live music when they show up.
First time at this restaurant and it was great. Everyone was friendly and the service was outstanding. Good food and beautiful view. We celebrated an anniversary there and when we told our server, she brought a complimentary dessert. We wanted for nothing. As soon as we drank our drinks, she was right there to fill them up again. Food came out in a very timely manner and was very good. We will return again this year and we live over two hours away. This is a rare gem.
It was good and we like to come here when we are in the Sandusky area.
Good food & service in a nice setting. Fine dining @ Cedar Point.
Wait staff was Outstanding. Since Bay Harbor is basically on the grounds of Cedar Point - it has that going for it and that is about it. Food was average at best and that is being kind. They did have a unique beer or 2 on tap. Honestly in just about any other market Bay Harbor would have been crushed by the competition.
Was looking forward to a dinner by the harbor. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best and service very slow even on a very empty night. I know that the point is filled with spiders but expected webs to be cleaned off at a restaurant.
Awesome food, great service and perfect location. They made celebrating our anniversary with our kids and gkids special.
Great service but very pricy. We ordered lake perch in August and pretty sure it was frozen. With the restaurant on Lake Erie we expected fresh for $23 per plate.
Confusing to coming into park and have to pay $20 but it was quickly explained this would be refunded and it was. navigated to parking area (you scan in with your receipt). we chose to eat outside next to marina, sunset was pleasant and sounds of rollercoasters behind and their lights coming on also added to atmospherics. We started with caesar salad (excellent, nice light dressing) had prime rib special (excellent) and a grouper oscar (very good). Service attentive, meals came out a bit quickly but we did not feel rushed. Good warm bread with salad/dinner and we spilt a cheesecake desert.
Excellent service, great food, nice views! Enjoyed an evening with family and friends.
Service levels were great and the sea food was excellent. The only thing I would say is the decor is really old and outdated, from the 60s.
Everything was fabulous!!
We ordered apps only....4 between 2 people....escargot, crab cakes, calamari, shrimp cocktail....and had leftovers they kindly boxed up for us. Delicious! Service outstanding. While not the cheapest, the high quality food and attention by servers worth it. "You get what you pay for" indeed. Reservation asking for outdoor table was accommodated. Thx Bay Harbor for a great eve !!
Food was bland, tasteless and way overpriced for what it is. I had the fillet and mashed potatoes, both were very bland. The highlight of the meal was the mac & cheese which looked like Kraft right out of the box. If you guys stay at the Cedar point hotel, I highly suggest looking for dinner options outside of the resort!
Great break from Cedar Point food. Really enjoyed our waitress
The dinner was fine, however prices for cocktails and wine were noticeably far too expensive. Eleven
dollars for a 6oz glass of house wine, and eighteen dollars for two well brand cocktails. We do not pay
that much at the country club , and we get a much better drink! Don't think you will be seeing us again
anytime soon. Someone needs to rethink your business plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just wasn’t a $100 dinner value-more like $75 for our anniversary
The waitress was the best waitress I’ve ever known. Totally creative and accommodating of every need with good cheer. The Chef came out to make sure we enjoyed the food. The food was very well prepared and delicious. We anticipated a fairly ordinary experience and instead had an extraordinary one!
AMAZING SERVICE! Between the hostess and our waitress our service was out of this world!!!! Our appetizers were excellent and our meal was even better. While our meal was a little pricey the quality was well worth it! The overall experience was excellent, quite but yet entertaining and still yet elegant. But what set our experience over the top was our waitress, she was by far the best ever!!!!!!
My girlfriend and daughter had filet mignon and the loved it. The lobster bisque was excellent. I had Lake Erie perch. The breading was extremely dry and somewhat had to chew. Was not happy with my meal. Would not repeat.
Great food and service! We were so glad that we had dinner here!
Overpriced, small portions, tasteless food, asked to sit by the window and told no even though we had a reservation
Horrible experience. They were out of almost all of the food with the excuse that there truck didn't come. The food was gross... They said they were known for the lobster bisque and it came out cold and took 15 minutes before I got it back. Way too overpriced for the food/quality that they service. View was gorgeous.
We decided on Bay Harbor as we were guests of the Hotel Breakers and had seen an ad in the hallway for Bay Harbor. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and were a party of 10. The waitress was able to effectively handle all of our requests and the food was excellent. The hotel as well as Bay Harbor offered a shuttle as well that was very helpful and conveinent for travel back and forth.
We have done quite a bit of fine dining over the years (Ruth's Chris, Morton's, Flemings, and the list goes on) and this by far was the worst experience. Food was so overcooked (more than well done when asked for medium) we had to have both of our filet's re-cooked from the start. Obvious the chefs DO NOT know how to grill steaks. At the end of our night we waited for a shuttle service to take us back to Hotel Breakers....for 45 minutes! As we watched 4 shuttles drive past without stopping even though they supposedly were called (several times) for a pick-up. The 5th shuttle finally decided to pick us up. To cap it off, Bay Harbor forgot to report our reservation to Open Table. I called Open Table 6 days after our reservation to ask about why points were not applied. Open Table rep. explained to me that the restaurant was suppose to submit it at time of dining. If not, they have 3 days to submit reservation to Open Table. After that, if they still don't or have forgotten, it automatically credits points after another 3-5 days. So after 7 days and Bay Harbor forgetting to submit info to Open Table, we finally got our points automatically. And yes, we informed the hostess we had Open Table reservations when seated. We had a great 4th of July and then tried to celebrate a new job offer and it all fell apart at dinner time. We would definitely NOT recommend this location for a fine dining or any kind of dining experience for that matter.
We look forward to go to Bay Harbor every year for our anniversary.
This was my wife's first time at this restaurant and she enjoyed it very much! The food was very flavorful! Wish we could attend more but it's a little pricey for us.
I do think the restaurant in Sandusky needs updated. Very old carpet, dark and out of date.
Overall, great experience!
Best food at Cedar Point Resort.
Wonderful waitress and incredible food. The ambrosia wine was the best I ever had. Delicious and upscale but also casual and comfortable.
Reservation was for 6 people, table was set for 5, had to squeeze in the 6th. Our waiter did not come to the table for quite some time, had to ask for him. Then we were treated as an intrusion instead of guests. Food was mediocre at best. The cost is quite pricey to be this disappointed. Will not be going back
Meat and fish consistently undercooked.
I didn't eat at Bay Harbor. I drove up for my reservation and discovered that I had to pay $20 for parking. I cancelled my reservation and dined elsewhere.
I was pleasantly surprised by Bay Harbor! Cedar Point lacks any good / quality dining inside the park. This is just right across the street / walking distance and the environment is comfortable and the menu was diverse and delicious! Enjoy 2 meals here on 2 consecutive nights.
