Battista's Hole in the Wall
Excellent food and service! Very cool atmosphere with lots of history. Plan to visit every time I’m in Vegas.
Best marinara sauce I have ever tasted. The lasagna was equally great. All courses were great. I have recommended this facility to multiple people that were equally impressed. The ambiance was very enjoyable and a great reminder of the history of Las Vegas.
My boyfriend and I had dinner here, and we both really liked it. The food was delicious (I had the manicotti and he had lasagna), and they were super generous with the portions. The garlic bread was divine, so we kind of had filled up on bread and wine by the time the food came, so we both had to take most of our entrees to go. The service staff was very attentive and pleasant. At one point, a huge party of 30 or so came without a reservation, which filled the lobby a lot and made travelling to and from the restroom kind of a hassle. This wasn't the restaurant's fault, though.
Always come when in Vegas; trip wouldn’t be complete without seeing Gordy❤️
I love introducing friends to Battista's! Everyone always raves about the food and the atmosphere. It's one of my favorite Vegas experiences.
Wow what a great Vegas Hideaway, on our return list!
The food there is amazing and it is such a great atmosphere. The staff are attentive and answer any questions about the menu. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves pasta to check it out. It's worth it.
It's a must go to whenever we are in Vegas! Love this place!
When we fly into Vegas Battista’s is always one of our stops for dinner.
If you love good Italian food at reasonable prices this is a place for you.
Not far off the strip a 2-3 minute walk from the Linq strip and you are there.
Very good concept! Unlimited drinks and bread is great touch. Love the acordian!!
Old -style Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas near Bally's and The Flamingo...
Much memorbila--pictures of stars from the past, baskets and wine bottles on the ceiling...
Wishing Sinatra would walk in from the past with his bodyguards---he was there many, many
Enjoyed the salad and unlimited wine ..especially liked the Cappachino a nice finish to the meal..
Had manacotti...would get meatballs and spaghetti next time..
Did not see or hear the accordian player...was hoping to....neaded to hear some Italian music
coming from somewhere to add to the atmosphere..
Had a reservation--needed for Valentine's Day
Very nice server....
Will go back and try again....very reasonable by Vegas standards
Great place, food was spot on, decor very nice, casual or dress up if you want to
Batista’s never disappoints. The food was great and the atmosphere was lovely. I try to have dinner there every time I come to Vegas.
Valentine’s dinner... we have been to this restaurant several times. it’s our quirkey retro Italian go to for a fun night in Vegas. Normally we get great service but not this visit... was rather disappointing. The bartender was great but the hostess/manager? and waiter ruined our experience. The older red headed hostess was curt, rushed (the place wasn’t busy enough to warrant reflecting stress ) and generally rude. The waiter was less than happy... so much so I thought he was joking but he’s wasn’t. Have had better service at a truck stop. When we go out to dinner we go to have a good time... we didn’t. Actually not sure we will ever go back there based off this visit. Only gave the rating I did because we have been there before and enjoyed. Good luck to you all!
Incredibly friendly and amazing food.
Amazing fun affordable meal and great staff for an awesome experience
I love this place. Old school vegas for sure. The food and value are good and it is very convenient to the strip. Dinner then a ride on the Linq!
The service and meal was perfect. It was also nice to see Gordy, he’s always a treat!!!
Great food, good wine with cappacino for dessert! We go every trip to Vegas! But we miss the traveling singer!
The food was very good and the atmosphere was great! The warm garlic bread was very tasty. The red and white wine which came with the meals was an added touch. The old autographed photos from Hollywood celebs and Vegas stars that were on the walls made you feel like it is a part of Old Vegas. The acordian player that went from table to table connecting with each table in some way and singing a short song just for them made it extra special!
Love this place for the food and price . Can’t beat it
I last went to Batistas 13 years ago and it hasnt realy changed still great atmosphere and value for money, next yime we are in Vegas we will visit again!
Amazing food! Best Italian by far I have ever had!
What a great find. I loved the ambiance and nostalgia throughout the restaurant. The food was great as was the service. We will definitely visit again next time we’re in Vegas.
Came with reservation that we made three weeks prior and were early by about 25 min. so went for a drink after letting the hostess and maitre'd know and they said they would be able to get us seated in about 10 to 15 mins. We sat facing them about 15 feet away and watched while nearly 40 people came in in a rush and got seated without reservations. So I asked if our reservation was ready and was told they had tried to call us, which was not true at all, and then the maitre'd came to seat us but did not even check for a reserved table just took us back to a narrow over filled room at a small table for two when many of the guests who came in with no reservations got much larger and nicer tables. That and the lasagne was not made with cheese it just had some slices melted on the top. All in all a lot of not very good food and really poor service for guests who had reservations.
Excellent place, excellent dining, excellent service thus a very satisfied Canadian
This is the best place ever! Our fourth visit and we were lucky to see Gordie and he serenaded is with a song. Great atmosphere. Lots of food and wine and the waiters were fabulous. We will be back!
First time I came was New Year’s Eve 2015. Came again because it was so good then. I was disappointed at the service and quality of food
We always dine here when in Vegas. Too much food but it’s amazing.
Probably wouldn't recommend it. The food was only fair.
I went to this restaurant the first time I went to Las Vegas back in the 1970's, and it is as good today as it was back then. I thought i would have trouble finding it again because i had forgotten its name. But luckily I ran across a tiny ad for Battista's when I visited Las Vegas again in February 2019. I knew it was the restaurant i was looking for because the ad said they serve complimentary wine and cappuccino with meals. I had fond memories of the cappuccino back in the 1970's. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. The roaming accordian player added a nice touch. I will definitely go back the next time I am in Vegas.
Don't drink wine or cappuccino but had to pay for both. Had the Steak Caruso. Server said it was a filet smothered with peppers and onions. I ordered it medium rate. It was actually a filet of shoeleather smothered in steamed tasteless watery zucchini. A glass of water has more taste than this train wreck. Their tables are so dark so you can't see the food which in this case was a blessing. Server was nice but her charm not enough to overcome a $31 plate of lasagna and a $36 piece of tasteless rawhide. HUGE TOURIST TRAP. BEWARE. I've had better meals at hospital cafeterias!
We've gone to this restaurant everytime we've come to Las Vegas over the past 10 years or more. Have had consistent wait staff service and very food quality every time. This past visit was one of the best. Excellent house wine, excellent service and meals were consistently good. Read a number of reviews dissing the house wine selection included with meals. Take those with a grain of salt. The wine we were served was a nice semi dry California burgundy. If you like sweet, syrupy wine, then don't gripe that the house wine is no good.
We had a great experience at Battista's. The waiter did not rush us, the food was excellent and the accordion player was an added plus! We loved that the wine and cappuccino was included too!
Hope you enjoy communial dining!! Very tight seating and you can’t help but be a party to everyone’s conversation, or just the loudest table! I had the house red wine and was very pleased! Staff and service was excellent, food was really good, not the best Italian but worth going back!
Amazing! Going again this weekend.
Great atmosphere and huge portions of food. Will be back again for sure
Our favorite Italian restaurant for 35 years. We always eat here when in Las Vegas.
A must when in Las Vegas. Fantastic Atmosphere and delicious food! Service was outstanding
