Battista's Hole in the Wall
Lots of food, reasonably good food, at a very good price. But the guy playing accordion, insinuating himself into conversions, was horribly intrusive.
Very good value but food/taste let it down massively
Have always enjoyed !! We have recommended baristas to many friends !
The menu is right to the point, the service is ok. It was slow when we arrived for our reservations. We had to sit in a large bench style seats. Had the butts of everyone sitting next to us in our face when they got up. Had to listen to someone’s flight reservations and someone else’s crazy night in Vegas. Oh and everyone would comment on everyone’s food. The food was ok nothing to fancy. My chicken parmigiana was dry and over cooked apparently the lady next to me had a tough dry steak, I mean she was almost sitting on top of me, so I could hear her complaining. I’d say make reservations if you want to eat there but I’d go to a restaurant on the strip. I’d never eat here again.
I travel to Las Vegas often for work and Battista’s is always on my agenda! From the moment you walk in til the moment you walk out, you are made to feel welcomed! The service excellent and attentive and the food is fantastic!! You won’t be disappointed!!
Disappointing food. Neither of us cared for our Italian dishes. Attentive service but felt a little rushed.
The portions are great but food was a bit salty. The 3 of us agreed on that. The free wine was a nice bonus!
The little man that plays the accordion is so awesome!! But he's off on Monday and Thursday so don't miss him!!
Amazing as always!!! It’s a must for every trip to Vegas.
Love Battista’s! Basically one block off the Strip, but miles from the glitz and over-priced hype! I always feel like I am going back in time here. Great food and a great value.
I have heard o this place before but haven’t gone until now and now I love it !
Food was wonderful, as always. Plus too much (as always). A fun and enjoyable place to eat — a “must” whenever we’re in Vegas!
Great dining experience. Would recommend to all.
This was our highlight of our trip. My husband and I are both amazing cooks and hands down this was the best meal we had all year. The service was amazing, the food to die for and the ambiance was great. The restaurant is divided into small rooms that consist of maybe 6 tables each so you if you choose you can get to know others you are dining with. We met an amazing local couple celebrating a birthday and we chatted with them all night. Wine was included and kept on flowing! Delicious cappuccino at the end of the meal. I would return to Vegas just to eat here again.
Absolutely wonderful Italian restaurant & food. Very good food, plentiful, hot, wine complimentary with meal, delicious buttered garlic bread. I am Italian & rarely eat Italian food out but took a city tour in Las Vegas & this was highly recommended. Very pleased I went. Very reasonable prices for amount of food & what you get. Definitely recommend & would go back when in Vegas again.
I would have rated the food higher, but someone in the kitchen over spiced to of the dinners and they we almost uneatable. One was a shrimp scampi of which we had two people order one was OK the other was hot. We also had a chicken cacciatore that was so hot it was not enjoyed at all, should have sent back to the kitchen
Awesome! The food was right on. The salad was the best I’ve had in years. Our server was a classic pro. I’ll tell all my friends after my friend Bobby told me.
Loved the ambiance. Loved my meal, eggplant parmigiana. My husband didn’t love his veal parmigiana though - said it was over cooked and dry. The minestrone soup was okay and the cappuccino at the end was a perfect way to end the meal!
Only complaint was made reservations & they seated us 20 minutes late & only did so after we brought it to their attention.
All you can drink wine is always good but as far as the food goes I’ve had a lot better. I had the fettuccini and mussels with a marinara sauce which was ok but my wife had the waiters favorite eggplant parmigiana also made with the same marinara sauce, just didn’t taste right. The cappuccino at the end was really hot chocolate with whip cream, need I say more!
Love love love Battista’s!! Old school Vegas and kitschy with great old photos everywhere. Menus are on the wall and the iconic accordion player... He’s awesome! Great place for large groups! Friendly and attentive staff. And then the food. Carb up Vegas because the bread is so yummy!
Great food, reasonable priced! Cool ambiance!
Upon arrival we were greeted by a disgruntled hostess who failed to check us in for our reservation. Our servers mark and frank made up for it though with very attentive service. We had the ziti with pomodoro sauce and meatballs. The sauce was a delicious tomato, basil, and garlic; the meatballs had almost no flavor which was disappointing. Garlic bread was yummy but the salad dressing could’ve used more flavor as it was a very basic vinaigrette. Worth the visit but wasn’t left feeling like I’d be anxious to return. It was very noisy as well which made it hard to hear my dining company.
Lots of photos of Vegas and Hollywood history. Serves was awesome! Food was awesome!
Loved it! We will definitely be going again the next time we come to Vegas!
My husband and I have visited this place before and loved it, so we came back with my mother for atmosphere and the authenticity and had a different experience. Our waiters seemed short and put out by our presence. Then after the meal was over, we were still conversing over our wine (around 10:15) and a waiter came over to let us know it was time to leave in a terse manner (“We’re closing.”) Finally, as we immediately left, we received no “thank yous” or “come agains.” So, we won’t.
Good value for the price, salad, lots of good wine and cappicuno included
Good quality food, even the free salad was very good. The free wine was not great, but what do you expect? Ambiance and decor is fantastic, would definitely go back.
Great food, great value, awesome portion sizes, authentic Italian, wine icluded, great old school Vegas atmosphere with great memorabilia. Highly recommend. Can make reservations on line
The meal was delicious. This was the best meal experience in Las Vegas.
Great food, all inclusive meal, well worth the price.
First time but will not be the last. All was good but the service was heads above all other aspects of the dinner. Thank you
We made reservations but didn't seem like we needed to; however, it was Sunday. The food was outstanding and the free wine with dinner didn't hurt either. The bread, post-dinner cappuccino and the gentleman playing the accordion were nice touches as well. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great food and a fantastic value! Their house red was my favorite and the Veal Parm was perfect!
The food is absolutely delicious here. I came to Vegas from Texas for a weekend trip just to eat at this place. Nice ambiance whether just going out to eat, date night or a special occasion. Would recommend getting a reservation because it's always busy. Doesn't mean you will wait for food because service is good but don't take the risk of walking in and expecting to be sat immediately. But there is a bar you can wait at and drinks are decently priced.
Always great and service exceptional! Free parking too, which is very rare near the strip!
Great value and amazing food. Can't wait to go back!
I had the best time here, not only with the other guests but with the staff! The food was wonderful! I can’t wait to go back!
It's now a family tradition when we are in town!!
I eat here almost every time I visit Vegas. The food is great and I love the atmosphere.
