I had a good time here. The service was great; our waitress was very attentive. I enjoyed the feta chicken breast I got, however, the steak wasn’t exactly made to how we wanted, could’ve been cooked a bit more but we still enjoyed it. We finished with dessert which was one them as a thank you so that was definitely a bonus ;)

Food quality was subpar. Surf and turf, the steak was cooked well but i almost choked on a nerve in the meat, lobster tail tasted old and overcooked. The waiter was overbearing and was clearing plates while we were still eating. Overall bad experience, it looked like he wanted us out before we even ordered our entree. Will never go back.

I eat here all the time. It’s a great place and the waiters are amazing.
We ate on the patio and all the Covid19 restrictions were in place. The food was as expected, servers were responsive and courteous.
I went for my pre birthday dinner and it was great! The service was good and the food was excellent. Definitely will be back again for dinner, thank you Baton Rouge.

Food was good as always, requested a table with an umbrella and got exactly that which was great. One thing I didn’t like was they did not have protocols in place for the servers when it started pouring. The poor girls were going back and forth from inside to the tables on the patio in the pouring rain. No assistance or umbrellas. Personally that sounds like an HR issue.

Great food and service. Tables were set up outside (due to covid) and they did a great job at setting it up to be very comfortable. Food was fabulous as usual. It was great to get out for dinner and to help support the restaurants get back to business.

Not a good experience it was a makeshift as if you were attending a lawn party And tables were not properly sanitized which I always is disgusting but especially alarming while where in a pandemic. I would like to support business by dining out but the minimum expectation is that tables and seats be sanitized and that being said they Did spray Lysol on them which went all around us , my table has the previous guests food still on it, rice in all the creases of the old dirty plastic table, a big disappointment
i would highly recommend this restaurant. Service was right on and the even better. The one thing I would change would be the background music.

A change in menu dramatically reduced gluten-free options. I am Celiac and must closely watch my diet. It was my birthday and was disappointed that I couldn't order the food options that I had used to. Even your fries are cooked in the same oil as breaded items, removing them as well. This change means I can no longer eat in your restaurant. My wife and I were very disappointed.

Tuna salad arrived missing ingredients and was burnt. Cheddar dip was tasteless. However service was excellent.

We did an online reservation, and were seated within 30 seconds upon arrival. Service was exceptional, and we had appetizer, soup/salad, entree and desert with coffee. The calamari was good, I tried the French Onion soup and really enjoyed that. My wife loves her go to dish which is the Lobster tail and mash. She raved about it to the last bite. I had the ribs and lobster tail, and the ribs were literally the best ones I’ve had in 10 years. I was surprised how perfectly they were done. Just right about of sauce too. The surprise were how crispy and tasty the sweet potato fries were lol nice compliment to both our meals. Absolutely Not! Sat in the lounge area. Two bartenders working the area who proceeded to give our table below acceptable service! TIPS - to insure prompt service - this was not our experience. Staff constantly walked by our table while servicing other tables. Appeared annoyed when we flagged them over to provide the basic expectations of their job description-customer service!
We ordered a bottle of wine two apps (would have ordered more had we received any service). No one came by to see how we were enjoying our food and drinks, if we required anything ie: water, napkins, dessert. Overall provide any service! Had to ask for our bills and then wait for the machine (it was not busy). When we provided a small tip of 10% which should have been 0% there was no communication of any kind. Did not hear a " thank you, have a nice day, please return". Friday night from 5p - 8p we sat in the lounge and witnessed other tables being serviced while our table was ignored by both the staff members. WHY were we not serviced? Why was our table treated differently? The only table in the lounge that had two non- white woman. Overall, I was extremely disappointed in my Friday night at Baton Rouge and left your establishment unhappy and upset. As a customer with many choices on where I want to spend my money I should never have been subjected to such a horrific display of lack of customer service.
The two young ladies who worked the bar/lounge really require training how to deliver customer service 101 a KEY requirement in their job description, that TIPS are not mandatory but rather EARNED for insuring prompt service. And most importantly, when you treat people differently or provide a less than acceptable level of service where that adverse treatment may lead to the perception of a protected ground under the Code #women #person of colour being the reason for that treatment - this can lead to allegations of discrimination with the Human Rights Tribunal of ON.
Two of us met here for lunch on a Monday. We both had a burger and it was tasty. It comes with an option of sides and the coleslaw was good. Lunch includes soup, the lentil soup was quite good and filling (happy we did not choose fries on the side). The service was inattentive, never had our water refilled. There was one server for the restaurant but it wasn't busy.
We had a nice time and the food was certainly acceptable, but we have been to other similar restaurants and the quality of the food at the other places was superior. As well, one of us was not happy with their meal and sent it back and ordered something else instead. This was handled well by our server, but we were surprised that the manager did not come and check with us to see if we were satisfied. Again, at other restaurants we have appreciated when the manager took an interest in our dining experience.
