Once again, a great night at Batch. Service, food, and ambiance was excellent.
fresh malpeque for a dollar each, I ate two dozens of that by my own. Most fresh Malpeque I have ever ate in Toronto with this unbeatable price. Burger is right supriseing.love this price
Great deep fried pickles and I believe my guest enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich. I would come back here for appetizers and the pickles but this is the second time I've had lunch here and had a salad (two different salads) and both times the salads were not very good. This time I had the Cobb, the blue cheese was dried out clumps and the rest of the salad was tasteless.
I appreciate being seated at the south side as the noise level was quieter.
Totally blew us away! Great service, delicious food and awesome portion sizes! My colleague said "This is the best burger I've ever had" which was awesome and my salad was filling and delicious. You've won a regular customer. Reservations recommended at lunch - Great job!
Went on a Tuesday night for dinner, good food, good beer, good time. Would dinner again
The food was excellent. Much better than I expected honestly. The service was very friendly and organized.
We had a great time. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious, the main disappointment was the Welsh Rarebit. The rarebit was ok, but in all fairness, something I’d leave off the menu entirely.
We’ll be back.
Great all round - food, service, music and design. Entrees and starters were great and plenty flavorful but the Caesar salad was a bit bland and watch out for the marshmallows on the “s’mores” dessert.....needs more work to get that open fire roasted effect.
Good food, good beer, good service, LOUD, LOUD,LOUD
I would go back for the burger. Kale salad was dressed well. Fish sticks I would not recommend. Service definitely needs improvement, our burgers came out before our appetizers.
PRO: Overall, Good food and good atmosphere.
CON: Waited a while before any staff came to greet and seat me. Didn't appear to be very busy at the time.
We visited the place at around noon. The place is spacious. Liked the concept of the store light natural colours. Great place to chill. Awesome food and staff 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hair in my food
We stopped at McDonald’s on the way back to the office, but the beer was good!
Not sure what they used to season the roast chicken on my Cobb salad but it was amazing!!
Food was ok, but not good value for the money. This is probably my first and last visit to this place.
Menu and quality of food dramatically improved since our last visit. Beer and service were great, as usual.
Loved our meal and our server. Got chicken wings, burger, chicken sandwich and lemon curd- all delicious! Would definitely return!
Delicious casual dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals from the deep fried pickles to the Caesar salad with a nice bit to the fish and chips. And of course the local and on-ire brewed beer was quite tasty.
We waited for about an hour for our food after ordering (they had some sort of issue in the kitchen). After all of that, there was no compensation for the wait on our bill. Quite disappointing.
Though primarily a business meal location since it’s in the financial district, it’s a great place for weekend brunch. It wasn’t crowded. so great service...but the food is excellent.
The restaurant itself was great, and the food tasted great too - but it took them 40 minuted to bring our food out and I'm still unsure why it took them so long. We had to eventually ask where our food was the worker there seemed very unapologetic about it. Even though the food was okay, the whole waiting time really threw us off.
Server was nice and personable.
Young and Rich cocktail was recommended by our server and it was delicious. Salads were very good and Ploughman sandwich was excellent and large enough for two!
Made a reservation online for the summwrlicious, but when we arrived on time we were told that summerlicious 3 courses lunch would be served in a span of 1.5 hours, so if we didn't have that long of a lunch time we we're advised to stay with regular menu.
We stuck with the summerlicious, but the longest waits we had to endure were not the courses, but the condiments or water refills we were promised and completely forgotten. It did take us 1 hour and about 20 minutes to finish up everything including paying the bill, among this time we did wait for the desperately required hotsauce for our main course for over 20 minutes.
Food was OK, interesting at most. The smoked pork belly was not bad with the habenero hot sauce but my friend and I both had to pull out broken star anise pieces from our mouths as they're not removed but hidden at the bottom of the meat. Chewing on star anise is never pleasant.
Yes we were pre-warned that the restaurant was very busy but on the side we were sitting there were quite a few empty tables. The service was extremely slow. From getting our table to settling our bill it took 2 1/2 hours. And that was for a summerlicious lunch. The prix fixe menu that most restaurants usually prepare in advance....
Food was decent but nothing wowed us (the prawns were a bit disappointing to be honest).
Overall mediocre experience
Booked with no assumptions for summerlicious and was pleasantly surprised the whole way through. Server was attentive and nice, dishes came quickly, plates were attractive and satisfying. Loved the spinach pappardelle. Decor on the inside was nice and had just enough seating and lots of standing room. Interested in the party room downstairs.
Food was tasty, server was delightful, but extraordinarily slow. Like, I love a leisurely meal... but, this was glacial speed... slow. Otherwise, enjoyable!!
Was there for Summerlicious. The service was excellent and the food was incredible. The beer was OK; I've had better. I'd recommend it for a great meal, but not if you just want drinks.
Horrible service. Refused to serve oyster on buck a shuck. One of ur server refused to serve oyster on buck a shuck for a party of 5 they claimed u guys don’t have anymore oyster anymore at 6pm .... really? Won’t come back again
Went for Summerlicious and the food was absolutely superb! I had the Cornish pasties and shepherd’s not pie. Also had the oysters which were on special for $1 each and they were delicious too.
This was the worst service ever that I have faced in Toronto! Took 15 minutes before the first server showed up, after 55 minutes- we did not get our food. What was on the menu as a salad was deep fried cauliflower- looked like leftovers from another restaurant.
In spite of warning about my allergy, they served me items with allergens leading me to fall sick.
First time dining at Batch as a result of Summerlicious. Lovely setting, great location, very spacious and not noisy at all.
We tried the Summerlicious menu, and I want to try the regular menu next time as I saw your Fish and Chips and it looked really yummy.
Service was top notch and very friendly. My family and I ended up buying 7 bottles of beer as well.
Thanks for a wonderful dining experience.
Great experience - it was a tad loud
We don't know the normal menu, but we don't recommend to go for summerlicious.
we did not get to try the menu as the kitchen had closed, but we enjoyed the cream ales and the nice atmosphere. thanks for a nice finish to our theater run.
We were looking for a place to have breakfast with friends and discovered Batch. It was during FIFA, so we enjoyed great food, great game and a fantastic ambiance. The waiter was possibly the best I have ever had. He was lovely with a capital L. He should give training. My eggs were poached to perfection.
Lovely space. Service was somewhat spotty. Server was nice but not really “there” - there had been a busy Father’s Day event before us. I felt like they were tired and we were inconvenient.
Good food selections, reasonably priced. Some wine overpriced. Friendly, competent service. Comfortable atmosphere, if your table is not near the sports bar screens. Nice in-house brewed beers. Appreciate long open hours. In sum - try it - you'll like it.
