   The Maryland Omlette was dry and a bit tasteless. Also disappointing that the only non-alcoholic drinks were water and sodas. It would be nice to have a little variety of nonalcoholic cocktails.

   Our server, Bruce and the general manager were outstanding. GM came over to our table and entire staff went above and beyond by giving us complementary dessert and champagne for our anniversary dinner. Shout out to Taylor who came over to our table to wish us a happy anniversary! Barrett ‘s never disappoints! Wonderful food and service.

   Food was subpar. Tiny Caesar salad with shredded romaine and tomatoes? The bacon risotto was greasy. Scallops undercooked. Buffalo calamari had a tiny drizzle of actual buffalo sauce. All four in the party agreed it was another one-and-done dining experience that more and more places seem to be specializing in. Recommend avoiding.

   I liked the restaurant and everything my friend's got was delicious. Do not get the crispy chicken Cobb salad, the chicken from McDonald's is better. Sorry to say that but it was so dry and overcooked I could barely chew/eat it.

   Unfortunately, it was Mother’s Day and they overbooked. They ran out of many if the entrees and when my husband’s chicken (4th choice) came, it was RAW! Literally red and raw! We were just the 2 of us and they did make amends, but he could have gotten very sick if he hadn’t realized it. He did take one bite of it- after that he was no longer hungry. We do like this restaurant, but they should have prepared better for the holiday.

    My partner and I visited Barrett's for the 2nd time and agreed that it wouldn't be the last time. We really enjoyed the food and the ambience. The service was a bit slow but that was because they were quite busy. The salads were outstanding, especially the house salad which contained some unusual ingredients including goat cheese and some croutons that were crispy and tasty. This was quite unexpected although our server described it before I ordered it. I would go back again just for the house salad.

    Bruce the waiter was the best. Great food and excellent service. I arrived to my appointment one hour early and the manager was able to accommodate without hesitation. One of my new favorite Restaurants.

    Went for Mother’s Day brunch and had a very nice experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our waiter was attentive but not overly. He was also helpful with menu ideas and had a strong knowledge of the dishes. The food was very good. I had the chicken and biscuits with sausage gravy. I would definitely recommend this place and would dine here again.

    Wow. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal at Barrett's. Service was perfect, and every item of food that we ordered was delicious. We will return anytime we are in the area, and sure do wish Barrett's would open a restaurant in Colorado!!!

    Another great meal! Service this time was not as good as usual but the server was pleasant. I suspect she is new. Love, love the crab soup, French dip and broccoli kale salad with Salmon.

    Great brunch. Gordy provided great service, all the staff was welcoming. Recommend larger tables those corner tables are too small for 4 adults. Overall all good had the quiche friends had classic Benedict’s . Looking forward to visiting the Barrett’s in Bel Air

    The service and ambiance was good. However our chicken sandwiches had to be sent back bc the chicken was visibly undercooked and the beautifully fanned avocado on the sandwich was hard and inedible. We steered away from anything chicken and reordered the mango salad and crab soup and a house salad. They were good. Our bill was adjusted to remove the sandwiches, of course. And to top it off-the fire alarm went off 4 or 5 times! Not a good experience this time. Normally I would recommend this restaurant but after our lunch visit yesterday, I would hesitate to do so.

    Wonderful experience! We ate on the spacious patio, very enjoyable. Food (shrimp and grits, salmon, salads, desserts) and cocktails were excellent and so was service by Heather. Everyone enjoyed a delicious, relaxing dinner. Well done, Barrett’s!

    Food and service were great. Had a reservation and was led to the crappiest table on the floor near bathrooms and kitchen. Very loud and undesirable seating. Meanwhile there were tons of fabulous tables elsewhere. It was a Monday and very quiet. Two women one black. Go figure. We requested to be moved to a better table and then enjoyed our meal very much.     So disappointed! No longer have lamb chops on menu. Burger did not come as ordered. Was well and ordered medium rare. Rolls were hard ! Such a disappointment as this used to be a favorite and was always consistently good. Wait staff did comp us dessert as the burger was not cooked correctly. Staff was good, again disappointing food.     Restaurant is LOUD!!! Don’t go for a quiet dinner. We felt rushed from our server ….. he was annoying as he was at our table wanting to remove dishes all the time !!! When we still had food on our plates …… Even though he was at our table a million times & I asked for lemon a million times I never received my lemon :-( Hunt Valley needs to step its game up & get a decent fine dining restaurant……. We’ll go to Capital Grill next time …… 2 1/2 stars
