    What a gem! Highly recommend the bar/lounge seating- it’s quiet, intimate, and beautiful. The food is spendy but spectacular. Excellent wine list. Service is on point.

    Barclay Prime is a classic Stephen Starr gem. I took my gourmand grandson here for his 16th birthday celebration. On a Tuesday night in summer, the place was packed several times over. Says it all. Classic chop house meets elegant and careful cooking.

    10/10 highly recommend! Everything was stellar from start to finish! From the initial greeting to the last sip, excellence! Our server, Erin, is a gem; she's that person that you instantly click with! Her recommendations were on point too! Everything was delicious but omg the bread!!!

    This place definitely doesn't need another 5 star review but I can't not write about the most incredible meal myself and my husband have ever had (separately and collectively). Our waiter, Mat, was great; very attentive and very knowledgeable about any questions we had with a little humor mixed in. When I say everything we ate was the best of that thing we've ever had, I'm not kidding. The popover bread (I wish I could've eaten 2 but I wouldn't have had room for the rest of the food): 1000/10. Caesar salad 1000000/10. The 8 oz filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection, the crust sealed the deal 100/10. Husband had bone in NY strip which he agreed was the best he'd ever had (over Peter Luger and Ruth's Chris). Tater tots were perfectly seasoned 100/10. Honestly, I prefer my green beans over these, but we were told they were simple and they were; they were well made nonetheless. Dessert was a warm cookie (1/3 chocolate chip, 1/3 oatmeal raisin, 1/3 sugar) with vanilla ice cream. All other meals ever will be compared to this place and they have very large shoes to fill. If there's a better restaurant, I need to know because WOW.
