   Probably the best steak house in Toronto. Great establishment with much history. The wine list was awesome. I will visit Arron again soon.

   Severely over-rated. I grew up in Toronto and had often heard great things about this place so thought I would try it out. Big dissapointment! The veggies are cooked really well but beyond that the food is ho-hum. If you can imagine a Ponderosa for rich people this is it. Big hunks of meat cooked blandly. Three very loud guys with baseball hats on were sitting beside us blah-blah-blah all night with the owner (?) regularly joining the discussion and more blah-blah and "ya gotta go to this party...". Noveau riche with no class. There are far better restaurants on the same street for the same amount of money. Avoid this place unless you are rich and have no class and you'll be right at home.

   I havent been to Barberians for many years and was not disappointed. The only thing they dont have on the dessert menu is the gateau st honore which was always a special treat when dining there. The other people in my party enjoyed the meal very much as well and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it or go back there. Our waiter who has been there for 26 years was very attentive and accommodating. A very positive experience.

   First time back in about 10 years. At the time it was my favourite steak in Toronto; now it just seems OK. Decor remains traditional steakhouse, servers are efficient, but lacking in enthusiasm. Steaks (small filet and a NY strip) were both good, but for a place that specializes in steak ( and for the price $41 +) they should be great. Wine list is huge but mostly priced in the hundreds. I found that the wine we chose for $84 was actually released that week at Vintages for $22; pretty big mark-up even by Toronto standards. Had a decent meal with good service, but was expecting more.

   WIne list is insane - and priced accordingly, but they've been collecting for a long time. My favourite steakhouse inToronto.

   My boyfriend is a huge steak fan and wanted to try Barberian's since it has been around forever and we have both heard it was good...which it was...VERY good! From the moment we arrived we were treated to an amazing experience. Our steaks were excellent the only minus is the wine list...while extensive, it would be nice to offer a few less expensive choices in bottles....I am one of those people who really has a hard time paying $50-$60 for a bottle of wine I know is only $17.00 in the lcbo....but other than that, it was well worth the money. Oh and it did help that we had an Open Table dining cheque to use as well.

   Always enjoy having dinner at Barberian's. Waiters are always attentive and professional. Had some VERY noisy neighbours on this occasion. No fault of the restaurant.
