Great service, experience and price! Loved it! Would highly recommend to pasta lovers!
I’ve been many times and dropped a lot of money at this establishment. Service was horrible compared to previous visits. Egg was basically raw, food came out so late! It’s good but not worth $300 for a brunch of 4.
Excellent food!
The food and service was wonderful! Outside setup was warm enough and the inside was well spaced out!
The portions were so much smaller than usual!
The outdoor setup was great! The heaters were perfect and no one was near each other. The food was delicious.
Great Ambience. Warm and Cozy. Ordered a bottle at a great price.
We came here to celebrate Valentines day. I was very excited to try Bar Primi after seeing photos on Instagram. I booked this reservation 3 weeks in advanced and flew in from Florida to celebrate the holiday with my boyfriend. We expected Bar Primi to be one of our highlights from the the trip. The food was very good indeed. The meatballs were our favorite, however I had much higher expectations for the service. Service was slow and it was uncomfortably cold outside which made the long wait to get our food seem even longer. We never received any bread for our table which was a shame because that would have held us over while we waited, and it would have been so good dipped in the leftover tomato sauce from the meatballs. After a long wait between our appetizer and our main dishes, we received the agnolotti and steak dish, but no one came to ask if we wanted any additional parmesan cheese or pepper on our food (both of which we would have appreciated). Actually, no one came at all to ask how our meal was. We also had to eat our main dishes with the same silverware we used for our appetizers.. We were planning to order dessert but the service was so slow we just wanted our bill and to get back to the hotel. While these are not huge things, there are so many other great Italian restaurants in NYC that have better service and better attention to detail. The food was good and we left full, but service was definitely lacking and we do not plan on returning.
Wonderful set-up if you are seated in covered area with heat lamps.
I was impressed with the ambiance during COVID outdoor dining. I dined in less than 35 degree weather and was warm throughout my dining experience. Will definitely come back!
Great for outdoor dining! It was one of the coldest nights in NYC and we were warm.
Great outdoor seating! Very warm!
We know that dining in NYC is tough right now with the outdoor dining, the staff was gracious to move us to a warmer space when one became available. Unfortunately they forgot an entree entirely, and by the time we all waited for one dish to come- the rest were frozen cold. Was a little disappointed that they didn’t fomo the meal as a courtesy, but overall experience was okay.
We got very unlucky because it was FREEZING and super windy when we went — their heaters did not do enough. However the food was delicious. We left right after our entrees to warm up at home!
Brussel sprouts and burrata are delicious! Heaters and outdoor set up are cozy!
Fantastic Italian appetizers including rice balls and stuffed meatballs, delicious pastas, and warm drinks :)
As usual, the food was wonderful however we were not seated very close to a heater so we were quite cold (food got cold very quickly as well).
Fantastic outdoor setup during COVID times. We went on a cold and windy December night, but were quite warm in the space and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The pastas were excellent -- highly recommend the fusilli. And I love that they have Threes Brewing IPA as one of their craft beer selections. Service was excellent, and we loved our date night in every way (rare these days with two young kids). Highly recommend this spot
Great experience in 28 degree weather outdoor dining. Supporting our local restaurants in our neighborhood and Bar Primi is on top of the game!
The only thing missing from the menu was a hot soup..........just saying! :-)
Our favorite restaurant.
Amazing! Great service! Delicious food! Yummm
Well located restaurant, with a bustling atmosphere. Decent choice of mains. We both had lemon chicken which was very good. For dessert, we split a delicious tiramisu. Nice place
A little overpricedfor delicious Italian food. But overall great!
Cute for brunch but $100 for 2 wasn’t the best value (this included drinks and tip)
A fantastic experience!! Delicious pasta and a great outdoor dining setup.
The food was amazing. We sat outside due to Covid. Nice outdoor seating with lights and heaters made it comfortable despite chilly weather. Service was good, drinks took a bit long to get but other than that, everything was great. Would definitely go back.
One of the best Italian restaurants in the city. I highly recommend the clams.
They have the heaters for their outdoor dining
Truly fantastic! Everything was perfect! The food as always delicious! Thank you!
One of the best meal since pandemic
Amazing food, wonderful service, I can’t stop going back!
EXCELLENT pastas, great cocktails and they did a really nice job expanding their outdoor set up.
Fantastic service and amazing food
The ambiance was phenomenal. From the lighting, to the atmosphere, candles, seating arrangement, and the bathroom. The food was average - nothing to rave about. The meatballs were a little dry, but the truffle bread was the best out of everything we got.
The servers are consistently horrible but the food and drinks are decent. Dint expect great service or a server that knows much about the wine list.
Outstanding, per usual. Service was friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent. First indoor meal since February, very nice!
Great service and food
Server forgot a number of items on our order and I was still charged for them
I personally disliked the food. Couldn’t find the harmony that is supposed to be created between the ingredients. It felt like everything was put on top of each other and hoped for the best. Ate 2 pieces of the beet salad, tasted empty. Had a bite of the hazelnut bread thing, truffle and honey together confused my taste buds. Lastly, cacio e pepe’s lack of taste had been tried to be compensated with high amounts of oil. Which by the wayhad to be made by another type of pasta, since they ran out of the original one. We were the second customer of the day, arrived at an empty restaurant, still took them 10 minutes to seat us. Didn’t have high hopes coming here, still left very disappointed.
They take too long to assign us a table. However, the food was great.
A small bowl of pasta is $26. It’s delicious food but you’ll leave still hungry.
