We went there for our 40th wedding anniversary and it is way too loud and unromantic. In fact we were sitting at a table for 2 on the end of a row which started out to be fine. People coming from other areas of the restaurant would then stand right next to our table and talk so loudly we could not even have a conversation. The wait staff then moved us over a table which certainly helped. The food was outstanding and definitely worth coming back to try more items.

This was the first visit to BLG. I had been wanting to go for some time. The service was excellent from the initial greeting to the server who was attentive, not intrusive. The food was very good, although one diner at our table thought his gnocchi was overdone. Prices were very reasonable. The place was packed, and the sound level was excessive. I wouldn't go there for a romantic dinner nor if I was interested in having a real conversation. It might also be difficult for groups as tables are tightly packed, and with the noise level, difficult to communicate. Other than that, it was a successful evening, and I would go again.

The food was wonderful, and with small plates available my companion and I were able to sample a number of delicious dishes. Don't forget to save room for dessert!!

The food is amazing.....there was nothing that we tried that we didn't love!!! Soft eggs and Lobster Bruschetta......YUM!!

Cozy atmosphere, approachable staff, wonderful food! Have yet to be disappointed in anything we've ordered. The charred red onion bruschetta and orange cauliflower gnocchi are a must order!

Eating at Bar La Grassa is a culinary delight!! HOWEVER~ the MUSIC is way toooo loud!!! My group all agreed that the volume should be turned down several notches. It really interfers with the experience.

Expensive, but the food quality is topnotch. The choice in sizes of pasta plates is really a nice feature tha tmore restaurants should have, allowing you to try more things on the meu. It is a lively place, not suitable for "romantic" dinners. More suitable for a dinner party outing where a group of foodies can sample several dishes from all courses.

Wonderful experience, great service. We are never disappointed in an evening at Bar LaGrassa. One note: The Pasta Carbonara with the raw egg in the middle is not for the faint of heart. The only down note in an otherwise great evening. Recommend!

I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and her birthday, hoping to create a special memory and really impress her, this restaraunt turned it upside down. I really wish I had taken her elsewhere, and I would never reccomend this to anyone, except a rowdy group who doesn't care where they're eating. The noise level was so extreme I felt like everyone was competing, and I was in a school cafeteria. The servers were allowed to wear JEANS? Taking away, very much from an elegant feel. Not even Applebee's allows servers to wear something so casual. I couldn't even read the menu, and had to ask several times to figure it out. The ambiance was dull and I felt I was in a cabin. My girlfriends fettucine alfredo tasted like macoroni and cheese.
