   What an amazing experience! From ambience to the food we couldn’t have asked for a better evening. Juan, our server, was a delight, attentive and entertaining. The absolute BEST espresso martini! We were greeted but the hostess and advised that they were short staff that evening and wait times might be excessive however, we didn’t feel we had any wait at all! Definitely will be back.

   Did not resemble much of what website portrays. Outside of building looks rundown. Restaurant ambiance lacking and the patio needed repair and clean up. Looked junky. Food presentation also was not what website portrayed. I was hoping for an excellent dining sxpand if was just ok.

    I felt like our visit was just ok. I didn’t feel the staff really cared about us. Our appetizer came out before drinks. It was a Tuesday, so the restaurant was not very busy. Food was expensive but it did taste good and we liked our drinks a lot. Maybe staff is less experienced during the week? It was an ok stop, but we felt like we didn’t need to return, especially with so many good choices in the area.

    Our 40th anniversary dinner and all of our favorite restaurants are closed on Sunday. Our waiter was the most in-attentive waiter I have ever had. We had to ask about the specials. He poured our first glass of wine, but later during the dinner, he came by the table, looked at my empty glass and did nothing. This may seem trivial, but I would expect the waiter to pour our wine. Even though we had indicated to Open \Table that it was our 40th anniversary, our waiter did not even ask if we wanted to see the dessert menu. Definitely the most disappointing anniversary dinner of our lives!

    Server was delightful and sought out the perfect red wine for me. Cocktails were nicely made. Food tasted wonderful, though entrees were closer to rare than med rare as ordered. All and all a wonderful evening with friends

    Excellent food Nichole our waitress was amazing and made sure everything was to our liking and no drinks were left infilled or waited on ! Great meal ! Highly recommend! We used to dine there before Covid and it was our first time back . I feel this restraunt has maintained wonderful standards and quality of its dishes !

    The drinks were unique and the food felt intimate and interesting. The pasta seemed homemade and the sauces all felt light and not over powering. Perfect date night with great music upstairs!

    The food was excellent throughout the meal from beginning to end. Each course was perfectly prepared and delicious. What puts this restaurant over the top is the service. The servers were not only attentive and on time, they were also personable and friendly. Even the manager came over to make sure everything was good. We can’t wait to go back.

    As always, Bar Italia has excellent food. I had the salmon and my husband had the beef medallions, and both were exceptional. Our server, Juan, couldn’t have been more attentive, yet removed enough from the situation to allow us to have our privacy. We have sat in various places at this restaurant over the years, but our favorite is by one of the big picture windows, where we were seated last night. It’s a great place to do some people watching, even in the winter time!

    Overrated….this is not fine dining….there were seated patrons wearing shorts on a Saturday 7 pm evening on November. We live nearby but next time we want Italian, we’ll probably head to The Hill.

    Four of us had dinner last night and were disappointed in the quality of the food. Everyone ordered a pasta dish and the food was rather bland. Best part of the meal was the olive and cheese tray. Will not go back.

    For the prices I felt like the service should have been better. We were constantly waiting on drinks and water refills. We did indicate we were celebrating an anniversary and a birthday and it was never acknowledged. The food was good. We just felt like the overall experience could have been better.

    We were seated 15 minutes after our reservation time. It then took another 15 minutes before a server came to take our drink order. There wasn’t even an apology or “thanks for your patience” which would have gone a long way to improve our experience. We decided since it took so long to get a server that we should order our drinks, an appetizer & our entrees all at once. Service was very poor the entire night and lacked a basic friendly attitude. Unfortunately, the food was “just ok” & lacked flavor. The combo of bad service & bad food means we won’t be repeat customers.

    The food was excellent. All the servers were polite, friendly, and professional. The character of the restaurant was very pleasing and the music enjoyable. The pricing was excessive. Notwithstanding the excellent presentation of the food and cooking it is a very expensive restaurant.
