Bannock is cool, confident and unapologetically Canadian. Serving the best in Canadian comfort food, Bannock is part grab & go counter, part coffee shop, and part dine-in restaurant. Centrally located at the corner of Queen and Bay in the Hudson’s Bay flagship store, Bannock offers a warm and inviting space for all-day dining and weekend brunch.

Bannock's honest approach to food is rooted in familiar, wholesome ingredients that are reflective of Canada's rich regional and cultural diversity. Dynamic and playful dishes like the decadent Duck Poutine Pizza and the iconic Arcadian Court Chicken Pot Pie are rounded out by a variety of other classic comfort dishes. The cocktail list is fun and cheeky, while the approachable wine and beer list have a clear Canadian focus.

Great spot. Service was great. Food was good but missed the mark on a Kick! Ordered Poutine Duck Pizza - All it needed was real cheese curds that aren’t melted! But portions and everything else was great. If the chefs are reading this just put real cheese curds on that pizza.

First time at Bannock, reserved a time for this past valentines day. Complete experience from start to finish was excellent. All the staff that we interacted with were professional, friendly, courteous and engaging. Special mentions goes to our waiter, Ryan, he was the pinnacle of what good service means in a restaurant and was thoroughly engaging and enjoyable. The food was solid from start to finish. We choose the pierogies to start and followed up with fish and chips as well as the pork shoulder. As I had the fish and chips, I highly recommend it as it was generous in portions but the fish remained light and flaky! All in all a great experience, highly recommended it.

We made reservations to go for lunch. We got seated quickly however I wish we had a different table considering we had a reservation. We were a party of two seated in between two long tables on either side of of large parties. We saw empty tables in another part of the restaurant not sure why we wouldn't be able to sit there.

Service was very good I had a berry mojito which was delicious. I had the veggie wrap for lunch which was huge, delicious and more than filling. My husband had the fish and chips he said they were very good. I could attest the french fries were good! We shared a butter tart for dessert probably one of the best butter tarts I've ever eaten.

As I said there was a lot of people around us so it was quite loud but we still had a nice time and would probably go back.

This date was overall good, but not great. Our server seemed to be in a huge rush and wasn’t very pleasant to talk to, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. He didn’t introduce himself and he raced through the specials and features. Service was quick and he remembered everything right, but every time he came over i was less then excited to see him.

I got the margarita pizza which even with raw whole tomato slices on top (which i dont like), was quite good. My drink, although very weak was tasty and cheap. I was pretty pleased with that.

The restaurant itself is absolutely beautifully designed and was very clean and presentable.

Happy I went, not sure if I’ll go back.

Cool ambience and decor. Would not recommend the fried chicken and flapjacks for weekend brunch seeing as the portion size was way too small. My friend's dishes looked good, however.

The restaurant was slightly too noisy for a romantic date night, however, they were very accommodating with requests.

Just disappointed. Food was fine but not great, not as good as it should be from this company. Service was poor - we waited for our table despite ha Inc made a reservation, it took ages to get us our food. Lunch, which should take an hour max at a location like this, was 90 min.

The service we received from the waiter was great. I wish I remember his name but he was extremely outgoing and almost “theatrical” in his speech. He was very nice and made us feel very welcome.

The service was great! The food substandard. Duck poutine pizza was soggy, cold and very greasy. Disappointed after reading all the rave reviews. Butter tart was not very good either. Drinks are really good too.

Everything was outstanding except for the cleanliness of the bathrooms.
