Service and food were delicious, the decor is very stylish, the bathroom were very clean. This is an excellent place to take someone for a date or to dress your best and celebrate anything. LOVE THIS PLACE.

We visited Utah and stayed in downtown of Salt Lake City. Trying different places for great food. Bambara was a near by and we decided to try based on a reviews. We have been disappointed. Portions were small, choices limited. No soup choices, no bread. No side potatoes except asparagus, sweet peas or carrots that you must order as a side to main overpriced meal. Servant just took the order and collected payment. Additionally they were out of bison and that was the main dish my husband was going to order. We felt disappointed.

Slow Sunday evening- the kitchen should have been capable of quick cookery, and the waitress of quick service, but it was anything but quick. Drinks took way too long, and after an appetizer, we spent lots of time looking around, and at the kitchen, wondering why duck and scallops took 45 minutes+ to prepare. When they did arrive, wonder of wonder, they were both lukewarm at best, and for entrees priced and $39 and $45 respectively, were under-portioned as well. They re-cooked the two dinners, which this time arrived quicker and warmer, and offered, to their credit, to wipe the bill clean, but we paid for the second go-round, had a quick dessert, and left shaking our heads at seeing such overall, and easily avoidable, sloppiness and incompetence on a night when they probably only served 30 plates, of which we were one of the last. Not on our return-to-soon list, for sure.

It was extremely loud and the food was small portions and though unexpected… some stables were so far from expected that I was uncertain what I was eating. Don’t bother with the ceaser salad. The pearls were missing from the Carmel pudding with dark chocolate and Carmel pearls with no advanced warning and the explanation was “they don’t have them for some reason “. The Parmesan ice cream was good.

We had the elk loin and the filet. Both were excellent. The environment was very nice and the wait staff was great. Will go back!
