   Harrison was our waiter. Amazing service, great explanation of the food and sauces. The meal never disappoints. Food always fresh and quick. Went early and beat the rush. Thanks for a great experience!

   Baja Cantina is a must when visiting the Carmel/Carmel Valley area! It's got such a fun atmosphere and vibe to it. The place is casual and fun, the service is great, and the food delicious. We're big fans of the enchiladas and margaritas. Regardless of what you order, you'll have a great time.

   There is no point in using Open Table with Baja. We had a reservation for the patio. It was raining lightly, they sat us outside in the rain and sat a couple without a reservation under cover because “we didn’t specify where we wanted to sit on the patio’ when we made our reservation. Brutal customer service. The fajitas are good. Likely will take my business elsewhere in the future.

   We always eat on the patio, due to the sunny location. It feels festive and fun. Our drink preference is the Cadillac margarita, always delicious! Get the chips and salsa, too! The 5 of us ordered different things, and everything was great! My grandson finished his enormous burrito this morning for breakfast, along with some fresh fruit! Baja Cantina never disappoints!

   Tortilla chips are dusted in spicy orange powder (we prefer traditional). Cocktails were a bit ‘watery’ and food was just ok. Deck setting & sunshine made it worthwhile. If you just want a beer and kick back setting, then check it out with friends 👍

    This place is popular but most likely because it has little or no competition. The food was mediocre and small portions of the rice & beans. For some reason the cook puts frozen carrots in the rice that end up mushy & gross to eat. The service was poor. We waited several minutes to get a drink order in when the restaurant was mostly empty. We asked for chips& salsa which were not served with the drinks. So we had to ask again several minutes later & did not get them until after the food was served. Usually an assistant server or table clearer will handle those routine items served at a Mexican restaurant . Probably will not go back.
