We live local and probably go here for dinner at least every two weeks, but I have to say the hostess is truthfully the rudest hostess I have come in contact with. We had a 5:15 reservation, and not in a disrespectful way but it was a week night and not yet full by any means, it was a nice afternoon, and we asked to sit outside. She said it would be 45 min to an hour wait. Which was honestly insane, because only 2-3 tables were even sat outside. Bottom line the food here is always great, and the servers all for the most part are kind and attentive! I think the host is just a really bad reflection as that is the first person you come in contact with. Would suggest maybe someone with more customer service experience.

The fajitas are some of the best I’ve had! I’m not sure what seasoning is used, but it’s perfect!

This is a big funky restaurant full of memorabilia. We sat outside on the patio and did not get a close look at the interior, but the exterior is quite interesting! We just missed happy hour so we shared a four item combo and everything was delicious. Chili Relleno, chili Verde enchilada, cheese enchilada and Carnitas taco. My skinny margarita was excellent. Be aware that this restaurant is 10 to 15 minutes outside of downtown Carmel, going into the Carmel Valley. Highly recommend.

Harrison was our waiter. Amazing service, great explanation of the food and sauces. The meal never disappoints. Food always fresh and quick. Went early and beat the rush. Thanks for a great experience!

Baja Cantina is a must when visiting the Carmel/Carmel Valley area! It's got such a fun atmosphere and vibe to it. The place is casual and fun, the service is great, and the food delicious. We're big fans of the enchiladas and margaritas. Regardless of what you order, you'll have a great time.

There is no point in using Open Table with Baja. We had a reservation for the patio. It was raining lightly, they sat us outside in the rain and sat a couple without a reservation under cover because “we didn’t specify where we wanted to sit on the patio’ when we made our reservation. Brutal customer service. The fajitas are good. Likely will take my business elsewhere in the future.
