We had a reservation for 5:15 and when we arrived there was no seating available. After about 20 minutes they sat the two of us at a table for eight with no place settings. 15 more minutes passed before a waiter dropped two straws in front of us and then disappeared for another 10 to 15 minutes. We should have left at this point but wanted to see how the meal would play out. We were there for over an hour before we were served. I have never complained about poor service before but this occasion was terrible.
Our table was ready. The service was great and the food was even better than I remember. Always love the Regae Caribbean music in the background.
Made to wait 20 minutes before seated at table even though the restaurant was empty... only 4 tables currently had diners at them. Waited 10 minutes after being seated and no one came anywhere even near our table so we left.
Once we were seated we had a wonderful time but our 8pm reservation got us seated at 845pm. They were extremely busy but could have managed time slots better.
Bahama Breeze isn't what it used to be. I was looking forward to their signature margarita but it turned out to be akin to a Sonic slush with just about as much alcohol. My daughter's burger bun was so soggy she couldn't eat it and the service was very slow. This will be our last trip unfortunately. I recommend choosing a local restaurant instead.
Visited while visiting Daytona with teen kids. Had the stuffed plantain bowl and is my new favorite, something different and flavorful, not salty. Others had the lobster/scallops/shrimp alfredo, and a steak with chimichuro salsa, BBQ ribs, and chicken tenders. All was good, and someone even said the chicken strips were best they had.
Vacation dinner- we were looking for a restaurant in the area. Menu looked good. We waited about 12 min before anyone took our drink order. The waiter had difficulty remembering our order, asking us to repeat multiple times. Water had come and the appetizer ordered from the “ziosk” came timely. The alcoholic beverage came out 40 min after being seated. The restaurant was short staffed. Manager apologized and gave us complimentary nachos. My entree order was also not accurate. I asked for shrimp on the side because I am allergic (so I could give the shrimp to my daughter), but the entree came with the shrimp. I ended up ordering a sandwich because I was concerned about time.
The server was great but we had reservations at 9 and got seated at 9.45.
You can count on the food and service to always be good. Although this is a chain, it doesn't feel like one. We often stop at a Bahama Breeze when traveling because you always get good quality.
First off, the guy serving our table didn’t ID for alcohol and the food was bland. If the food and service was better I’d say the price was worth it, but this was way too expensive for the quality of the food.
Hostess was totally lost. She had no idea what she was doing and got a little short with people.
Excellent atmosphere excellent service excellent drinks
Terrible food we’ve been to other Bahama breeze and the food was at best marginally ok!!
The food buyers need to reevaluate their food quality buying decisions
We missed that there was no live music, but everything else was great 😊
Date night after our daughter got married.
Our first visit and we definitely will be going back before we end our vacation. Nice selection of drink choices. The two appetizers and two entrées we shared were excellent. We were not hungry after our meals, but we were glad we decided to order and share the Key Lime pie that was made to perfection. We also enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff were awesome, and the facilities were excellent.
Daytona 500 weekend, sat outside.food came out hot and fast and beer was cold. Only ate appetizers. Over a place I would come back to. Coconut shrimp best thing on menu.
Food was very good. Nice appetizers. Wives got a great lobster pot dish. Server was excellent. Sat outside with heaters on.
Liked the outdoor seating at this location. Food good, service good.
Excelente el cervisio
No wait for table. Service by Andrew was great as usual. Food was ok. Some issues with food being a little dry and lacking proper sauces but Andrew made it alright. Tables outside still at good social distancing measure
Great food and service. Drinks had a lot of syrup. Restaurant was very quiet and peaceful even at 6:45 on a Friday night.
The best place
We ate outside on the patio. It was a little warm until the breeze kicked up. Loved the coconut shrimp appetizers.
It was a fabulous meal! Love the vibe and food❣️
Good food and service, everything looked clean, the servers all wore masks. We sat on the terrace and it was very pleasant.
Atmosphere was great, service was great and food was great. Wife and I choose to sit outside which means that we did not have to wait for a table.
There only issue we had was the loud cars going up and down the highway.
Good food and service.
I’m not sure why every plate needs diced tomatoes and why many of the dishes need to be spicy-Bahamas? The tostones with chicken were flavorful but the chicken was soupy and then loaded with cheese and tomatoes. The fish tacos were ok; the slaw needed a cream sauce or dressing with some acidity, the fish was dry & lacked flavor, and the flour tortillas were dry & brittle! Wow! The service was attentive and welcoming. 3 Stars
They have a full menu, so that was nice. The food isn't bad, but it's also not great. That is to say I wouldn't make a special trip just for the food. The ambiance is nice and the service was decent. They seemed a little short handed which is probably due to the virus. They have a very limited wine list, seeming to specialize in tropical drinks. The pricing is reasonable, but for me, the portion was far too large and I'm a 6' tall guy. I could only eat about half of it. On some dishes they do have 1/2 portions. Not on mine unfortunately. Over all it was a good night out. It was not crowed on a Saturday night, even with the limited tables.
The food was pretty good for the price. Waitress had the personality of a cardboard box. I felt she rushed us through and was not as friendly as she could have been.
First time there and was very nicely surprised- staff did an amazing job and food was very good. Overall nicely done and great experience - we will return when we come back to Daytona.
My daughter and I had the mahi tacos. She had a side of broccoli and I had the yellow rice with black beans. She and I both agreed that the mahi was very fresh with a great taste. My daughter didn't comment on her broccoli but did specify with her order that it be neither mushy nor crunchy. She ate it all, so it must have been good. My yellow rice and black beans was delicious. Our service was great; everyone was friendly and very positive. We'll come back, but since my daughter is in town just once a month, we'll rotate among other locations before we return.
Date night with my wife in town from Georgia it was a wonderful experience waitress was very friendly and had great customer service
The food was great, everything was very clean and it was a friendly atmosphere.
Great food
Not much to say, I have always enjoyed eating there and nothing has changed. Service was excellent.
SECOND TIME GIVING THIS PLACE A TRY (Wont be a third)
A couple of the crew/staff were Horrible the others tried to make up for it,
Their Menu was Extremely Limited (3-4 options) and Very Overpriced.
When all 3 of us at the table realized Not one of us wanted ANYTHING on the menu
(We left and went Next door To) (olive garden)
Service was horrible !! For not having that many people in restaurant then she ran the card so many times it blocked my card so I had to call and get the card fixed. It’s one of my favorite restaurants but I would not go to that one again.
great food
We really appreciated the fact that all the staff were wearing masks and there was excellent social distancing.
