We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The food was excellent and not only creative but very nicely prepared and served. Our waitress Rihanna was friendly, helpful and a delight to have as our server.
We cannot wait to return to this neighborhood gem!
Mother’s Day 2021. The appetizers were excellent as was the bolognese sauce , the other entrees were just ok. The cocktails were way overpriced! $18 for a very mediocre Bloody Mary is ridiculous! But the bottle of champagne was a good value. I would stick to the wine and appetizer menu and skip their cocktails .
Not good experience. Waited an hour for food. My little girl got food the rest of us didn’t. People who came in half hour after us got food same as we ordered. We complained and manager never came to the table. They say they lost the ticket but delivered 1 meal. You can’t lose a ticket and bring 1 meal to the table. Total BS. Would never recommend this restaurant.
First rate restaurant and tasting room in a great local neighborhood. This is a hidden treasure in Quail Hill. Sometimes forget what a cool patio they have with a surprisingly interesting and expansive food selection. Cheers!
Kristian was great at the bar, made fir a nice night out
Good pasta dinner
I wish the waiters and waitresses would wear their masks. The bartender never had it on and our waiter had his nose out the majority of the time.
Great food. New bar that has outstanding drinks. Nice friendly staff.
The new menu is amazing and the service is outstanding! We loved it! 100 stars!!!
Loved everything but the electronic dance music.
Bacchus has just been updated and has a new warm look and feel. The food is amazing and the service is very good. The menu offers lots of options both in size and price. This is definitely a place to return to on a regular basis.
It was the most underwhelming experience that I’ve had in recent memory. For $90 per person, you would expect a certain level of service. To say the restaurant missed the mark would be an insult to the cliché, “understatement of the century.” When the restaurant is serving a pre fixe, there’s a limited number of items on the menu, obviously. Having worked in the restaurant business I know that it just requires some timing and that sometimes it’s really not the server’s fault because it could be the bar or I could be that the kitchen is slow. But here, we had food come out slowly and a forgetful server. Thank goodness Raven (sp?) the bartender serving us our drinks quickly. The appetizer came out a little slowly but maybe it’s because tables were seated around the same time. Didn’t think much about it. Our entrée took 30 minutes to come out after soup bowls were taken. After the mains were finished, waited for another 30 minutes before the waiter came by to refill our waters which is when I asked about the desserts. He said that there was a miscommunication, whatever that means. I followed him to the kiosk and it look like he was about to enter the dessert. I was like no way. I told him that we would just pay and leave because by then it was two and a half hours. He insisted we stay in that the dessert would come out very quickly. We waited for another 20 minutes before it showed up. You would think that after having talked to him twice he would do something to put a rush on the dessert or for good measure involve the manager. Neither happened. When it was said and done, we left shortly before 10P when the reservation was at 7P. I wasn’t looking for a discount or free xyz. Like anyone, i just want to feel like I’m getting what I pay for.
Excellent food. I guess because it was Valentines day and they had a special menu, we thought it was overpriced, other wise very good
We had a lovely Valentine's dinner! We will be returning here for sure!
This was our first time there. The food was exquisite, I mean there was nothing I didn't like. The staff was incredible! Overall vibe was great! Definitely be back!!!!
Place packed up. Tables définitely not 6 feet apart. Consequently very noisy. Was requested to wait 20 minutes for my reservation. Preferred to leave.
This place used to be one of my favorites. Looks like has been taken over by new owner with a different concept in mind.
Great energy and great food! Valerie took wonderful care of us, and Wes’ wine recommendation was brilliant!
Restaurant was closed when we arrived. Even after we received a confirmation email. So disappointing after looking forward to celebrating our wedding anniversary.
Great place. Very cozy. Large wine selection. Food specials are quite impressive. I will be returning soon.
Way to bright, decor needs work. Music? Nope. No ambiance. Wasn't impressed
Love this hidden gem in Quail Hill shopping center. Ambience is beautiful, (with outdoor patio dining) food is delicious and the staff and service are the best! Plus, amazing selection of wine and beer! What’s there not to love?!
The service , food and champagne were excellent and delicious. We enjoy the mixed cheese board, the tuna appetizer and pork. Everything we had had there is amazing and the service is great!
For it being our first time at this bistro it was amazing. Great food and beyond amazing service. Our waitress was out of this world and made our experience feel more comfortable. We will definitely be coming back.
Restaurant is no longer a Wine Bar. Loved this local place, but they have changed the menu and no longer have the same chef. The staff are nice but the quality of the food has dropped.
What a great local gem! My husband and I came here to have a glass of wine, champagne and a cheese board. We ended up dining and the lamb chops were wonderful. The servers even noticed I mentioned it was his after birthday dinner and brought us a delicious dessert. We will go back soon - excellent beverages and wonderful friendly service.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Service was excellent. Food was phenomenal.
Small neighborhood European style bistro/wine bar with excellent wine and food choices. Very intimate atmosphere so it is great for a date or going out with friends. The band is excellent and I enjoyed myself all the times that I’ve been to Bacchus.
Great ambiance and food with reasonable prices.
Usually go to a new place for the food, but return for the service; will definitely return!
The service was friendly, attentive, but not overbearing. The food was flavored well and was very good.
LOUD, terrible service, food was nothing special and overpriced. I went here years ago and enjoyed the atmosphere, wine and food. Last night was terrible. Both of us (met a friend for a relaxing evening of catching up) said we would never come back. The noise was deafening; we felt rushed; the waiter seemed “put out” when we asked for a taste of a wine we were considering; the portion size of food was minuscule and the quality, very disappointing.
Absolutely fabulous evening.. the live music with Alex Drizos was the perfect compliment to the amazing food and wine
What a wonderful experience! Delicious happy hour food; bargain prices; delicious wine choices; superior service, even at at a Friday Happy Hour! I love this place!!
I have not been here before and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The live music was a great added touch and great food and customer service.
Perfect food and ambiance
Foot was good but the selection was very limited. We relied on the website information only to discover that it was at least a year out of date according to the service staff. Impressive wine list relative to the food options. Live music was very nice - appreciated it even more as it partly countered an extremely noisy bar crowd.
Great time with friends.. though large group arrive that was loud and made it difficult to enjoy the music
Bacchus is amazing! The food and service are excellent. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We enjoyed a nice bottle of sparkling wine that we had never tried before. The talented musician added to the night for sure. We will definitely be coming back again . . . Soon!
Live band on Saturdays. Good wine, good snacking foods, good service. We will be back
This was the second time we've eaten here, I'm always suprised there is not more people there. The food is outstanding, especially the salads, love the selection of wines by the glass.
