While this is a lovely waterfront location with fine service, the food is mediocre and over priced. My husband and I ordered drinks to start and his was very weak. We both ordered $15 soups as appetizers, and they were tiny cups. The portion and price did not align. For dinner we had the paella for 2 at the cost of $50. It was grossly under seasoned with no salt and pepper available in the table to help. Paella is supposed to be spicy and flavorful, where as this dish was just cooked seafood on top of aome bland rice. I would not recommend this restaurant.
They lost our reservations, which was disappointing, especially since they didn't handle it well. Other than that, food was adequate, wait staff was better than that. It was ok but nothing compelling enough to return. Small portion sizes compared to pricing.
What a beautiful oceanfront restaurant, right on the beach. Disappointing experience. Couldn’t find our reservation at first. We requested dining room inside - was too warm, so we went outside on patio.... humid, but a breeze. We ordered Mahi-mahi. Came cold. We took 2 bites, sent it back. It came back, luke warm. The portions that came back was half of what they took away. They cut off the two bites and more. So basically we got half a dinner. But that was fine, because we had a coupon, buy one get one free. Never again. And certainly not at full price.
Overall not great. The outdoor seating is poorly setup. Bugs all over the food. The food was rushed. The quality of the food was average. The server was great but that was the best part. Not fine dining at all. Our past visits were better and very overpriced.
Always great food. This is our yearly anniversary and birthday spot. Great service, never had a bad meal.
Went out with the family for a nice quiet dinner to Azure and we were not disappointed at all. The greeting lady was very nice and courteous, Bradley, our server was very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, presentable and servings were good. our dining table was located on the patio close to the pool. The ambiance was very relaxing and enjoyable. I recommend this restaurant to tourist visiting Daytona Beach. You will not be disappointed.
The food and ambiance were great. We did miss the rosemary bread however. Please bring it back!
Outstanding service and food was excellent. Great view of the ocean and very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely recommend it to my friends.
We were very upset coming here. The food was extremely small portions (4 cocktail shrimp for 16 dollars) and not many options. The good thing was the views and the service but I would not recommend.
We had a pleasant evening. The grouper was well prepared and presented ...it tasted special. Big disappointment is that the menu is so limited. At those prices I would like more choice.
What a great find! My wife and I have been searching for a quiet, beachfront/oceanfront restaurant that had an upscale feel (not stuffy) and did not feature the typical beachfront fried foods with a side of friend foods. Well, the Azure certainly fit the bill! Upscale but relaxed, great menu with interesting fare and a huge variety. All our meals were very tasty and had a nice presentation. And the atmosphere was A+. A definite do over for us.
Excellent service. Wonderful meal. We were celebrating a birthday. We did small plates. Great experience.
The view and set up of the restaurant was amazing. We were very pleased and it was a great lunch date!!
Sat by the pool outside. Was a little noisy while kids were still playing in pool but then quiet ended down as it got dark. The food and service more than made up for it. Kim was our waitress and she’d awesome.
The food had no flavor the best thing was the bread and water
It was my wife's birthday, I really wanted this to be special for her. We made reservations online. We had to wait at the door for about 10min before anyone acknowledged us. We chose to sit outside (there was a live band). Our server seemed tired and could careless that it was my wife's birthday, didn't offer us drinks until we maybe 30min after we ordered. Our meal took about 30 more minutes to arrive. No one gave us plates or silverware. We had to ask about 3 times before we got anything to eat with (Our server seemed aggravated that we asked) Scallops and shrimp were good, but the crabslegs was supposed to be 2 clusters. But instead were about 10 very ting legs that looked like they came from the bottom of a frozen bag. At the point it was late and nothing else was open. Had it been earlier in the day we would have left. We will not be returning
It was good food
Ann was great as a server. Oysters were supposed to be grille but tasted like raw... and were the smallest I have ever seen, Calamari was served twice and both came out cold. Green tomatoes cold 1st time and barely warm 2nd time... cook not a chef? Warmers used? Filet was average. Korean bar bq was good despte no Korean spices. Disappointing night overall.
The waiter did not remember the orders and had to continually remind him of whay was ordered. Out of items on menus. Some food cold other over cooked.
We enjoyed our experience. Food was excellent and staff very professional and welcoming
Food is amazing. Service was poor until we complained. Manager really wasn’t interested in fixing any of our issues either and he was the biggest problem. He asked our server to take care of a large party upstairs which left us without a server. And when we complained to the manager he could have cared less. The server did apologize and make it right. Disappointed in the manager though. Food was amazing.
Took out of town friends. Sunday brunch. They have a Bloody Mary bar that is amazing. Could almost be your meal. Add the warm goat cheese with roasted garlic and it’s a great start to your day!
We visit this restaurant often, always a great time, great food and amazing desserts
This was our first time for breakfast. The waiter took our food before we finished, we felt rushed and this reflect I the tip
Other than this interesting experience, we will be back
We were looking forward to dinner at Azure. It had been about five years since we had eaten there. The restaurant is lovely and our waitress was excellent. The food was just uninspired. The food wasn't bad just boring. The menu was limited. It was like the chef and staff were bored. When we went there in the past the menu had Shrimp and Grits. There were amazing. It is no longer on the menu. Now its just a Filet, Mahi Mahi, Grouper and a Salmon dish with Scallops. If you need a Gluten free meal they are very willing to accommodate you.
Sad to say Azure is no longer a special restaurant it's just another hotel restaurant.
Great view of ocean. Nice menu selection. Fun for brunch.
We dined around 2:30pm on a Sunday and it was so very warm inside the restaurant. If we wanted to sweat, we would have sat outside!
It really was just ok. If it wasn’t for our server, this rating would have been much worse. We ate here bc it’s our first night and we were tired. Our reservation was for 8– they wouldn’t seat us early even though there were plenty of empty tables. We waited. Came back at 8 and was told our table is not ready. Annoying but I get it. Asked if they could just call our room when the table was ready. Not even 2 minutes that we walked in the door, we get a ring that a reservation was cancelled and we have a table. I also noticed that while we were waiting, there was a couple who didn’t have reservations and was put on a wait list and look who I see when I walk in and seated BEFORE us ( the ones with a reservation). I mentioned, our server was great and very attentive. He was kind and very personable. Our food was slow to come out like everyone said but I know there was a wedding party so I understood. The food was ok and a bit over priced. No real presentation one would expect from a $$$ restaurant. Kinda like put it on the plate and out the door. One adult and 2 preteens was almost $100. As a traveling family, it was not high on our “must come back here again when we visit”.
I loved Azure, and that’s why we chose to go there for Mother’s Day. Always had lovely meals, service, and ambiance. Our reservations were for 1 pm, and we thought we were getting a regular menu. No one ever told me it was a brunch menu. I didn’t want a sandwich on Mother’s Day. I should have been told it was only a brunch menu. We told the waitress the table was sticky and I also asked for a paper napkin to put under my granddaughter’s dripping choc milk. Waitress never wiped the sticky spot nor did she come back with the napkin. My grandchildren wanted pancakes that they chose from the menu handed them. No, they couldn’t do it. They had to choose something from the lunch portion on their menu. How easy would it be for them to make pancakes.
The calamari was soggy! I ordered the chicken salad on croissant which advertises pecans and grapes. Never tasted a pecan and it was void of even a piece of grape. Our waitress had a horrible attitude. I don’t think she wanted to be there. On the way out another waitress shouts Happy Mother’s Day with a smile to us. I turned to her and said wow, that was so nice of you. Thank you so much. Our waitress never even said it. She had a puss on her face the whole time.
Just ok. Drink service was super slow and the food was fair. 16 dollars for a shrimp cocktail and found free shrimp at the bloody Mary bar.
Ambience and service were great. Kitchen took a long time with the food but it was mother's day so I imagine they were busy. Food came out very hot. I had the crab Benedict and it was just average. I would still go back and try something else for breakfast.
Started out slowly, since there was no one to greet us for our reservation. But, once we finally were seated, service and quality were tops. Loved the live music and sitting outside, just steps from the ocean.
I made reservations to celebrate my sons graduation from a local university for 12 of our family members, all of us traveled from out town. The service (our head female server) didn’t smile ONE time. We weren’t checked on hardly at all. We spent ALOT of money as a group and we were treated like outcasts. The atmosphere and view were beautiful! The resort is beautiful but will never recommend Azure for food or special occasions again.
Food is okay. Service isn’t great. View is perfect.
Lovely restaurant with ocean view but unfortunately the food was disappointing. My husband steak was good I ordered their signature black grouper. It was so dry and over cooked I could hardly eat it. Even though the restaurant was not crowded it took an hour from giving our order to the waiter and receiving it.
It’s a shame because they have a great venue
Excellent service, food was good. Nice date night restaurant
Food was served like warm at best. Table view of ocean obstructed by a table full of crying kids. Service was attentive and friendly. Won’t make dinner reservations again for our Anniversary anytime soon, but it was a hotel so I should have known better.
We had lunch here for the second time. It was fabulous both times. Love eating outside overlooking the ocean. Our server was so sweet and friendly. We had the shrimp tacos, yummy!!
Very pleasant waitress. Food cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced bottle of wine
absolutely horrible food. would not recommend or ever go back.
Filet mignon was servers with instant mashed potatoes! Terrible way to serve with high quality high price food.
The grouper fish was served barely warm but bone dry ! Not good at all. Maui mani was just barely ok.
Crab meat soup was just warm and glupy ! Not good
Servers was nice lady.
