   A very satisfying meal overall, mains better than starters. Waitress very efficient, but a smile would have been nice. Will be back. Didn't go to the private area downstairs on this occasion. Great fun watching people freeze on the pavement tables to smoke!

   I came here for a last minute dinner with friends and had a nice time. The food was tasty and the protions were a good size. It was not particularly expensive either

   We were a group of eight and went to Ayoush on a Saturday evening to celebrate a birthday. We were seated downstairs in our own little 'cave'. Our waitress informed us that we had to order off the set menu due to the size of our group. This pleased most of us. However, I do think that the restaurant ought to inform future patrons of this. Our starters were lovely and our main courses even better. I would definitely recommend the lamb and fish tagines and the sea bass. Dessert was, like our starter, a sharing platter,which consisted of fresh fruit and delicious baklava. Entertainment was provided by a belly dancer and everyone thoroughly enjoyed this. Food is reasonably priced, alcohol is a bit dear.All in all a great evening!

   Ayoush provides good value for both the location (nr Oxford Street) and the quantity of food you get. Whilst oil rich, you get plenty of vegetable and pulse option in the set menu, which have to be good for you. There are also options with a lot of meat. The service is attentive, if a little rushed. There is seating outside, but I always prefer indoors and the cushioned seats for comfort. After your meal, you can continue your night in the small club/wine bar. A good place to meet with close friends.

   Nice restaurant in great location and very busy and buzzy. We were upstairs which was nice and light and airy but the bar/restaurant downstairs also sounded like great fun. There are a number of set menus that give you a wide range of choices which look interesting although we chose from the a la carte. £33 per head for 4 people with 4 starters, 4 mains and 2 bottles of lebanese wine (which I must say was very good and good value at £16.50 a bottle). Will definitely be back.

   The lamb tagine was delicious BUT we were offered mint tea to complete the meal which turned out to cost £3.50 for a tiny glass! We complained but that was ignored so definitely won't go back or recommend.

   The starters were better than main course. Seated downstairs and was not impressed that it suddenly turned into a dancing area. We had a private booth thing which was nice but music was so loud that we couldnt hear each other and had to then ask the restaurant to move us upstairs. Toilets are TINY and not in a good way. Doubt I will go there again.
