Tucked away in a quiet residential area, this charming spot felt like a local secret. Despite being quite busy, the atmosphere remained calm and inviting, with a low noise level that allowed for easy conversation. The service was outstanding! Our waiter struck the perfect balance—attentive without being overbearing, always friendly and helpful. You could tell they truly cared about the experience they provided. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the menu had a great variety that left us wanting to try everything. It's clear that this place is beloved by locals, and now we can see why. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a cozy, welcoming vibe, Avenues Proper is a must-visit!

Quiet Sunday evening on the patio. Love the burgers (currently only &10 on Sunday nights) and beer flights. Service was play polite and attentive. We haven’t been there in quite a while after a few years of going very often. Was surprised that the menu has not really changed much over the years. Could be due for some updates might be the only suggestion for improvement.

Really strange experience. Screaming person hitting cars yelling at people on the patio. Not the restaurants fault. They called the cops, who showed up 45 min later. Very uncomfortable .

Alex, our server, was so kind, patient and hard working for us and all of his tables! We loved the ability to create your own breakfast plate and the prices were very very reasonable. We will definitely go back there to try dinner food and different cocktails!

Nothing special coleslaw was dry and tasteless. The fries were a bit overdone. The water was warm. The service was good.
