   The food is so well prepared and the choices are local fresh and beautifully presented. What a delight to find a restaurant of such high quality in Avalon. We can’t wait to return.

   The service here was exceptional and very friendly. The only thing I would add is maybe some fruit or other healthy side for the kids menu options.

   My wife and I came here on our 13th Anniversary. She loved it! The food was amazing as well as the ocean view. I would come back.

   Service was spectacular, but the food was just ok for me. We had the scallops and they were just ok. However, our server was very friendly and gave great recommendations about things to do after dinner.

   We were a party of six mature males who arrived in Avalon on a private yacht. The restaurant was 25% full at the most, and the hostess took us to a rear table that had an elevated banquette and bar stool height chairs. Not exactly the best choice for this group. We saw a much more appropriately comfortable table and asked to be seated there. Four ordered some type of steak. One steak that was ordered medium arrived debate-ably overdone, and another that was ordered medium-rare was cooked medium-well. That steak was returned. and a fresh steak cooked medium-rare was served about 15 minutes later after the other three steak eaters had almost finished. The other two diners ordered a special swordfish and sausage dish that was a throwback to a local hotel's 1929 menu. Those two diners were also served at least five minutes s after the first group. So picture tha table of six, with three people eating their meal and the other three looking at the ones eating. The swordfish was over-cooked, burned on the outside and extremely dry. The "sausage" was more like a glorified hot dog. As the host of our group, I asked to have the manager visit us. A young person came to the table, and i explained that two meals had not yet been served and a third was returned and we were waiting for that as well. She said that she would look into things, and we never saw her again. For all of the above, the server who was trying to do his best given the inept kitchen performance, let us know that we were being given a 10% discount. No visit from the manager to apologize. No offer to fill our empty wine glasses. No offer of dessert. Bad food, bad service ( not the server's fault) and bad vibe.

   My husband and I went there for his birthday, and had dinner. It's a beautiful restaurant in the service was above Beyond. The food was delicious but I have to say very small portions were served.
