My husband and I had such a great time dining at The Guest House! The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were perfect for sharing (and still had leftovers) — we split a salad (Heirloom Apple & Endive), appetizer (Steak Tartare and Charred Moroccan Beets), entrée (Crispy red Snapper), and a side (Miso Mishrooms and Parmesan Truffle Fries), and everything was flavorful and beautifully plated.
The drinks? So good! 🍸 The cocktail menu was full of creative options, and each one we tried was incredibly well-balanced and refreshing.
The atmosphere is cozy and stylish with that cool downtown Austin charm. It felt upscale but still welcoming, and the servers were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel seamless.
And I have to mention the 100-layer cake — absolutely divine. Layers upon layers of delicate chocolate, caramel and espresso. It was rich without being too heavy and had just the right amount of sweetness. The perfect finale to an already amazing meal.
Highly recommend for date night, a special celebration, or just a fun night out. We’ll definitely be back!
