   I asked to be seated in front of the fireplace 6 weeks ago and the host sat us at a window seat. It’s Easter….not going to make a big deal; but worth noting! Mary Luna was delightful as was the staff and service. Chef is always fabulous and the presentation delightful.

   Absolutely made the right choice to celebrate a 91st birthday over breakfast at Atwater's. Such a classy and cozy place, food was spectacular for all 6 in attendance and service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

   We were 1st time diners and we picked Atwater for our 20th Anniversary, and the experience was fantastic. We sat by the fire in the dining room which had a old world charm. From the hostess that greeted us to our waitperson Micheal made us feel very welcomed. We both had the Sturgeon that was on special, the flavors were on point, the fish was cooked to perfection. I had the Shrimp and Grits, and my husband ordered the Charcuterie board which is more than enough to share, we left some because it was more than enough for 2. My Shrimp and Grits were wonderful, creamy and a hint of smokey savory to them, this was only my 2nd time having Grits, 1 time they were blah but these were a whole new level. We dont drink and this was one of the few places that actually mixes a NA cocktail to preference, which I appreciate usually the NA cocktails are some sweet fruit juice concoction, it was nice having something other than black coffee and water with our meal. Over all I highley recommend Atwater for food, ambiance, and service, we are planning a 2nd trip and perhaps a weekend stay at the hotel. Atwater is on par with some of the better hotel dining experiences, comfortable and not as over the top as Savoy or Peninsula, a great dining experience for adults.

    our favorite lunch spot in Geneva, Il.! we love walking the town then having lunch at Atwater’s, we go for all special occasions. great food and service. Chef was able to adjust items for me being gluten and dairy free. definitely recommend.
