The food and service was fantastic. Mauricio took great care of us and knew the perfect timing for the sunset photo.
We decided to celebrate our freedom from the lockdowns and came here for dinner. The service and ambiance was wonderful. I was not as impressed by the food as I was on our last visit a few years ago. I had the scallop appetizer which was not great. The scallops were small and not well seasoned. Kind of bland actually. The blackened mahi mahi was really good. Others at our table had the tenderloin which was cooked perfectly and the sea bass was excellent.
Our waiter Marcio was incredible.
Food and ambience were great. Service started ok but our server disappeared after we ordered and we had to serve our own wine and water
I had a reservation and was seated on time , water and bread quickly on the table shortly after cocktails offered . Menu was explained and recommendations were made . Appetizers were order and were received in a timely but not rushed manner . Dinner was fish and excellent waiter polite professional and efficient. Excellent choice for our last night in Aruba highly recommended
Good food along with great service and a beautiful sunset! Recommend although don’t get the scallops and don’t expect decaf coffee
Beautiful view and wonderful atmosphere
Haven’t been here since Simply Fish good meal great service
Beach dining was nice. Service was a little slow. Grouper was good. Little expensive
We have stayed at Marriott Surf Club the past several years. Family owned timeshare. This past week at Stellaris and what great surprise to Eat Great Food, served right on the Beach in front of our Water Front Room. Braised Beef - Sea Bass - Buratta Salad
Ambiance was beautiful, price was a little high end but everything in Aruba is expensive, this place was a little more. Was told they were low on steaks and told them we would leave (3 kids don’t eat seafood) they came up with 3 steaks. (Guessing they were trying to push the fish) steaks were a 4 out of 5, had a sauce layered on the bottom so address it if you don’t like sauce. fish was also delicious. Shrimp appetizer was 5 little shrimp for like 25$ (Not worth it) if they were jumbo it would be. Dessert was good (nothing special) they don’t have candles for a bday party (bring your own) . Overall it’s a beautiful place for dinner on the beach, good live music, upscale, quiet, romantic, not many options on the menu but good steak and fish spot. Family of 5 was about 400$ (no alcoholic beverages) tip included.
Best dinner we had while our stay in Aruba! Delicious food we had lobster and steak and ofcourse the view during sunset was the best part!
I was amazed how everything, was staff, food, location. Until we received the check. I had a 100 dollar, give card. Then the attitude change. Pretty much the waiter was no happy. Told me I should have let him know at the being of our dinner. Had to wait 20 minutes for them to check on it. Never been to a restaurant that has done that. I would recommend this restaurant if you don’t have a gift card.
We had eaten here earlier in the week and had a very disappointing experience, which I reported as a negative review on Open Table. Much to my surprise the restaurant manager, Myla Lagman, contacted me to apologize and request a meeting in person. We met with Myla, who incredibly offered us a second meal each, with a bottle of house wine, at their expense, to make up for our first experience, and we took her up on the offer a few days later. Both the food and service for this second meal were extraordinary. Similar water front table to watch the sunset, but different waiter named Juan who was very, very attentive. Same very nice & efficient second waiter, Christopher, who helped us last time. Juan took several photos of us with the beautiful ocean scene first. We then ordered, and received our wine promptly. The appetizers came out in a timely manner and were served hot. We had each ordered the lobster tail dinner which again was served promptly and hot, perfectly prepared. All the food was delicious. The atmosphere at Atardi cannot be surpassed. Quiet live guitar player to enhance the amazing Aruba sunset. Awesome service. Delicious food. We ordered a second bottle of wine (never drinking it, ended up taking it back to our room) and a desert to share, knowing both would be at our own expense. Whole meal from start to finish took the expected length of time. Small glitch when the bill came & there was a mistake, but Juan corrected it immediately, and they even then covered dessert. Gave a very large tip to Juan to show our appreciation, way more than 20% of what would have been the full cost. I hope this was enough to show our appreciation. Myla and Juan went above and beyond, completely making up for our first experience and more, and we are truly very grateful. If ever we return to Aruba we will definitely go back to dine at Atardi.
Any traveller to Aruba should try this restaurant out if you can. Especially if you’re staying in the Palm Beach area! The food is always outstanding. We had the blackened Sea bass as recommended by our very sweet server, Juan, and it was mouthwateringly delicious! My Dushi martini was also very very tasty! The ambiance is like none other. And service is par excellence! Haven’t had a bad experience there yet. And we’ve been about 5 times over the years.
Everything was terrific but at the end of dinner could not get our check. Then after 25 minutes we gave him our Marriott c c and he never gave us our 10% discount.
Incredible dinner at Ataridi! We were able to watch the sunset and enjoy a wonderful meal. Seating is in the sand so you get the full beach experience. Will definitely return!
Atardi is absolutely wonderful—service, food and ambiance.
Our favorite restaurant and meal from our Aruba trip! Def recommend, on the beach tables!
Seated promptly. Assistsant waiter brought warm rolls over right away. Waiter took our picture. All down hill from there. The beautiful sunset and ambiance of being seated at the shoreline with soft guitar music playing was amazing. However, the service was the worst we have ever had in our entire lives. Waiter disappeared for long stretches. Took forever to order. Foid took forever to be served. Food was not good, “grilled” shrimp and asparagus both served ice cold. Filet and lobster tail so over done hard to cut or chew. No one ever checked on us. Had to flag down various staff for help. Wanted drinks, no one to take the order. Continued having to flag down others. Without us even complaining waiter came running over telling us he gave 25% off “for our troubles”. Dinner took 2 1/2 hours, didn’t even have dessert, way too long. Huge disappointment. Will not return.
Loved looking out at the water while the sun set and sitting on the beach. Great experience!
This place was unbelievable! I loved everything about it!
This was our second dining experience at Atardi. The first in October 2020 was fabulous! So this time we invited friends. I was embarassed. The seating was quick and drinks arrived in a reasonable time. The appetizers and entrees were miniscule at best. My husband and his friend both had the blackened mahi mahi. It was prepared well but was a very small portion served with 4 cherry tomatoes! No rice and no sides offered to them. They both left the experience still hungry.
Menu was limited and over priced in our opinion. Very windy.
Amazing view and food. Go here every time when I’m in aruba! Go before sunset!
This dinner was amazing. Very beautifully set up on the beach and the food taste and quality was amazing!
It was very busy and the servers assistant did everything.
Overall very good. My only complaint was that we waited a long time for our food and more than 30 minutes for desert.
I have eaten at most of the restaurants in Aruba that people say are “The Best”. And they weren’t. However, Atardi may just be the best on the island. If—not one of the best I’ve ever eaten at.
My lobster was delicious as was my spinach but the potato gratin was not even warm and not cheesy at all. Our servers were a bit too busy with other tables but were great about taking pictures. The ambiance was perfect and we enjoyed it bu with a few tweaks it could be really awesome.
What a beautiful night at Atardi! We visited while on vacation and had 3 adults and 2 children and it was great. Our servers were amazing, offering to take pictures and being very attentive. We shared the burrata salad as an appetizer which was delicious. 2 adults had the grouper and another the sea bass while the children tried and true chicken fingers and buttered pasta. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. It is a bit pricey but you are able to use your Marriott discount card which helped significantly. We skipped dessert and instead walked into the Ocean Club for some gelato. Would highly recommend and will revisit in the future!
First time. Was perfect right on the water. Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Toes in the sand.
Waitstaff was fantastic. Made a big fuss over our 2 year old grandson. . Food was fantastic. Perfect end to our vacation!!
Beautiful sunset, delicious food, great service
Great food, great location.
We celebrated Easter in Aruba with dinner here. The ambiance will blow you away if you’ve never been to Aruba. The food was outstanding but it was the service from Oscar and Chris that cinched it! There was also light acoustic music from a very talented singer/musician. Not an experience to be missed.
Just dined here last night.. Food was fantastic... tables were all spaced out nicely adhering to social distance rules... we were there celebrating our sons 17th Birthday...Service was a bit slow but not terrible... table by us ordered their food way after us and got their main courses way before us they were 2 tables consisting of 7..After they served them he came over to us and said our entrees were coming... Honestly think he forgot to put them in.... took another 10 mins.... Food was great as well as the ambience of the place
The best location for dinner in Aruba. The view was incredible and the food was delicious!!!
Every time I visit Aruba I make it a point to go to Atardi. The food is always amazing, the setting is romatic, tranquil and relaxing. The service is top notch and the staff always accommodates any of our needs being my husband is gluten free and dairy free. I will gladly recommend your restaurant to all my friends being that it is one of my favorites here on the island.
