Great atmosphere, wonderful service, unique and delicious recipes!
Always really good Italian food with friendly service.
Excellent food and energetic atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but maybe that's more miss than hit?
Asiago's is one of my favorites in Boise!! The food is amazing, the building is cute and the service is good.
We had a party of 16 people and the service was amazing. The food was great and the ambiance is fantastic
11 of us went for dinner after our small wedding.
We did have to wait awhile for our table but the menu and food were outstanding. We will be back next visit to Idaho.
Food is excellent - nicely presented and delicious freshly made pastas and sauces.
Eggplant entre was excellent. Bread is excellent and the service was excellent also. We enjoyed it.
Service sets this dining establishment above most places. Food is good, wouldn’t say great. Excellent wine list. A bit noisy.
Traditional lasagna was the hit of the group, very good, house dressing a little bit tart, the caesar was delicious Fair selection of wine. And non alcoholic beverages
Could not have another business group there as they do not offer mixed drinks and their wine menu is very limited and they were out of many that were on their list.
We love this place. It's very quaint and always has great food!! Great for a date night!
Great restaurant the food is amazing and the service is great.
Great food and service. A little louder than I anticipated, but still great for a date.
I love Asiagos and appreciate the birthday coupon. The fact that you can find a place open past 6 on a Sunday is great! Good menu options and wine selection.
We ate at the restaurant a couple of years ago and were very impressed. We just returned while back in town and we had another great experience. We were a group of 7 and we received great service and the food was wonderful. It's an inviting atmosphere.
Wonderful meal with great atmosphere! The food was great and the service was top notch!
We had a great time, we enjoyed the mewl and my wife went wild over the tierramersue (spelling challenged)
Gummy bread, good pasta but either tasteless or plain weird sauces or too spicy when mild was requested. Good service. Do not expect Italian even tho menu is set up like extremely traditional Italian courses.
My husband and I went to Asiagos, and the evening we went there it was so noisy I couldn't even think.
I think they need to do something to absorb some of the noise. Maybe cork board on the walls. Anything
they can do to make it more comforting.
Food was amazing.
Waitress was wonderful, but had too many tables and it took forever to get our bread and olive oil ect.
We had an awful experience at Asiagos. We had reservations, but the new host gave our table to a walk-in group. The server dropped food in a big hurry, almost threw it down on the table. One order for a medium rare steak burger came well-done. After returning it, it came back raw and cold. After talking to the manager, she comped our meals and offered dessert. We received a dessert menu, but the server never returned. We were there almost two hours and eventually walked out without having received any edible food.
Excellent food and wine, attentive server and happy patrons around us.
When I saw there was salmon on the menu I was pretty excited. Then I found out it wasn't a fillet, it was salmon cakes. When I asked what was in them, the waiter response was 'salmon'. Great! Something frozen I guess. I had a Chicken Cesaer Salad...it was okay...just okay. The salad and 2 glasses over wine were over $30, a bit high for me.
Asiago’s was awesome. Incredible food atmosphere and the waitress was so friendly. Will definitely make it one of our favorite spots to go in Boise.
Worst restaurant in Boise. Period. Don’t go there.
I've been to Asiago's many times over the last 8 years I've lived in Boise, ID. On the spectrum of OK to Rainbows and Butterflies it's definitely further along towards rainbows. There are a plethora of classic italian dishes and even some, what I'd imagine is called fusion dishes. I've always found the service attentive, the food of good quality and well prepared, the wine selection ample and the experience to be a great example of what you're after when you eat out at a nice restaurant.
The salmon cakes were really good (although we got these by mistake, we had ordered the Burrata appetizer). The Eggplant Caprese was okay but they didn't dry out the eggplant enough. It comes with the worst cacio de pepe I've experienced (I've had it multiple places in Italy and the US). Overall not impressed.
Pasta was dry, scallops we're not much better, no sauce on the noodles, overpriced. Noisy.
Great place with unique Italian food. Very good daily specials. Dessert was very good.
We have always loved Asiago and go every time we are in Boise. This time was slightly disappointing. Although we had a reservation we were put at a tiny table right by the door. It was a chilly night and we are elderly people. Other parties of two were seated after us at four-tops. Those tiny tables really do not work for the number of items they bring and we were lucky to have a decorative barrel close enough to use for our water glasses. The food was also not quite up to the usual standard. My spaghetti was way over cooked. The texture was like spaghetti-os! Just not their usual. The seered scallops were delicious. Service was cheerful.
This was my first and last visit to Asiago's. The service was intermittent and not helpful. Our main courses were either themselves bad or cold when then arrived. My wife said her pasta was inedible and our dinner companion ate very little of hers. Not a well run restaurant.
The food was super bland for how expensive it was. I wish I had just made this at home instead of having to spend $20 on a meal that would have cost me $3 to make.
Chose this restaurant upon recommendation of hotel staff. Nice experience & enjoyed the food.
Table was ready on time the food was good though they served a well done steak even though it was ordered rare. The waitress took care of it quickly and the second steak was perfect.
Last week was our first visit with friends. We all ordered different meals and all were very satisfied. The prices were good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of their wines and was very helpful. We plan to,return often in the future!
Probably the best pasta I have ever eaten. So fresh and cooked perfectly. Try the Antipasto as an Appetizer. I have eaten the Mediterraneo and Glorioso. Both are amazing and it is hard to pick which one is better. You cannot go wrong. The salads look great when they come out and go to other tables, but I need more than a salad.
Asiago’s is our favorite place to eat downtown Boise. It is always fantastic.
Don’t go to Asaigos on a Friday or Saturday. Very noisy and tables are crammed together. Weekdays are much better.
Very poor service at our recent visit. Slow. Dishes weren’t cleared from table. Waitress mixed up our glasses of wine and couldn’t remember which glass of wine was what. We were told to “taste each other’s to see if it’s yours”. Didn’t offer to redo order. Brussels sprout salad showed no sign of brussel sprouts but we were told it was the correct salad. Waitress served our entrees only after she waited for us to clear our empty plates away, whereas she should have cleared the plates and then served the entrees. Lamb was over cooked. Very disappointed with whole experience.
Food was excellent, good house wine, overall very good. Can get quite loud in the restaurant when it’s busy.
took 20 minutes to get waited on, another 40 minutes to get an appetizer, and another 25 to get our entree. We had our infant with us, so had to ask for the entree to be boxed to go. I know Friday evenings are busy -- but I would think a restaurant would also know that and prepare with sufficient kitchen staff.
