Asiago's Ratings and Reviews
We were seated immediately. My friend wears hearing aides and does better if he does not have surround sound noise. We asked if we could be seated next to the wall instead of the middle of the room. We were immediately accommodated. Our waitress was knowledgeable, helpful, but not hovering. We were both over the top happy with our food selections. It was a Saturday night and packed to the brim, so don't expect quiet intimacy. But it was still cozy and romantic, and just a lovely evening. It wasn't so loud we couldn't hear ourselves think, but it is a hopping place. We had just seen a movie, and we were able to discuss it without problems. I would go back in a heartbeat.
The food was pretty good, nothing to get excited about. Service was also okay, not the most professional or courteous. Atmosphere was very loud, hard to have a conversation. Table was extremely small. House wine was shockingly expensive. Bread was good! Ha!
This was the first time I have dined at Asiago’s. Our server was great and very attentive. I believe the server’s name was Chelsea. The restaurant was clean and very pleasant. The food was good but a little bland. Perhaps a bit more seasoning while cooking the food. The other wait staff and hosts were also very nice. I would dine at Asiago’s again for sure.
Our experience was just “okay”. The food we ended up ordering was good. However, the restaurant was out of their special salad of the evening by the time we ordered at 7:20 which was a disappointment for the 4 of us who wanted to order it. The service was good but the food was slow to arrive. We thought we would be offered Asiago cheese on our pasta but our server disappeared after serving our dinners. We will probably return but not soon.
Had a family dinner for 6 here between Christmas and New Years. The Caesar salads and pasta dishes were delicious, especially the chile lime Thai risotto with seafood and the Vesuvio pasta with shrimp. Our waiter was excellent - attentive and let us enjoy good family time together.
It was busy but the service was terrific! Food came warm to the table looked delicious and we were not disappointed. I have read other reviews I don't agree with. We've eaten in many different locations in the world. Asiago food is on par with international cuisine. No question we will return.
Service was not good as there was a big party in the other room so we did not get serviced very well at all. We had to ask for pretty much everything, more water, bread, etc. Also, the tip was automatically included at 20% (maybe because we had a party of seven), anyways that was frustrating because of the service, etc. we would of only given 15%. Makes you wonder if the tip is automatically included do they not work that hard for your experience.
Sadly, we had to give it an overall 3 stars. The food was good, but the temperature of the restaurant was frigid! We had to ask to be moved from a table by the front window because it was soooo cold!!!! It was unpleasant at the table but the staff was helpful and moved us to the interior of the restaurant which made a difference in the temperature. Even the staff complained and stated that they had to wear long underwear to work to not be cold. Sounds live a chronic problem at this restaurant. In addition, we arrived early to have a drink at the bar to wind down before dinner, alas there was no bartender, so we were told "oh well", no bar tonight as only the waiters could serve any alcohol. Many of the other patrons were having to wear their coats to stay warm throughout their meals. Ridiculous!!!
Food and service was great. It was just so loud. It was hard to hear each other which was a real bummer for a 50th wedding anniversary for my parents. Not sure what can be done about that except sound boards on the walls and ceiling. May be a good investment because I would not do it there again for a special occasion :(
My husband and I went to Asiago's for a Saturday date night. It was wonderful, our server was attentive and helpful, giving us dining and wine suggestions.
That being said the pasta was good, the wine was great, but the dessert is where Asiago's truly shined! I'd come back again but next time I'd skip dinner and just get drinks and dessert.
