Artisanal Restaurant is open seasonally from May-October end. Contemporary American Fine Dining in a rustic yet elegant environment. Innovative and progressive thinking in a farm to table approach, only working with the highest quality ingredients. This warm environment offers the best food and wine with excellent service. Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Private dining room adjacent to the wine cellar available for events. The only available menu is a pre-fix style, with 5-6 choices per course, $105/ guest plus a service fee. We do not offer a kids menu however kids prepared to order off our pre-fix menu are welcome. Our Dress Code is Business Casual. Collared shirts are required, jackets are preferred but not required for men. No shorts, distressed jeans, hoodies, hats, or sandals/flip flops.     Our private dining room is located adjacent to the wine cellar. For smaller events, 16 or less, the cellar is the best option. For larger parties, up to 65 guests, a restaurant buy-out is an option. Minimums are required for events. Fixed menus are planned with the chef to accommodate guest preferences.

    Beautiful evening on the outdoor patio. Our server, Jenna, was great, as was the entire experience.

    Always a great experience. Jenna was a wonderful host. Timely service but no rush. We will be back in August for our anniversary.

    One of the finest restaurants in the Carolinas. Truly a must visit if in Blowing Rock, Boone or Banner Elk.

    This is the best restaurant in the area hands down, we have enjoyed Michelin Star restaurants all over the world and we never miss an opportunity to enjoy Artisinal.

    Undeniably fabulous experience, the food is truly artisanal and the atmosphere is amazing. Tuna, rolls, filet mignon were all excellent. Banana dessert and the wine sensational. Chef Bill is an artist and we cannot wait to experience Artisanal again. Thank you Chef!

    A 10-star experience in Banner Elk! From the moment we arrived this exquisite restaurant delivered perfection. The arrival depicted a winding drive in and gorgeous landscape which felt like something out of a movie. We were greeted by two professionals: kind and impeccably dressed valets who set the tone for the evening. The hostesses provided prompt attention and were warm and welcoming. Our water glasses were never below half and every waiter and helper seemed to glide through service with quiet professionalism anticipating our needs. The food... we have been raving since we left. From the HOT rolls out of the oven to every course.. We tried the Springhouse salad, the the St. Louis ribs (Total 10), halibut, pork chops, lobster, Filet Mignon, even a vegetarian option... All unbelievable and amazing, we added on the pomme frites (Fries to die for!) So many amazing options, plus the dessert. Oh my! We topped off an incredible dinner with 4 desserts and an after dinner cocktail (which you can substitute instead of a dessert.) Once this entire experience ended, we had plenty left over and our amazing server boxed it up. She said, if you give me your valet ticket, we will bring your car up for you and place your boxed items in a bag in the car for your departure. We paid the tab and felt it was well worth the price and in fact cannot wait to return to this incredible restaurant. If you want an over the top experience.....from ambiance to service to the amazing food and value, this is for you. By the way, the valets took us out one by one under an umbrella.. a perfect end to a perfect dinner. Thank you Artisinal.. we will definitely return over and over again!
