Did the seven course tasting menu. Each of the courses was creative and delicious. The service was top notch, and the quality of the overall experience made for a memorable birthday dinner out! Would definitely recommend for a special dinner out.

I brought a work colleague here after a long work day, and no, it wasn't a business dinner. I wanted to 'show off' Seattle to someone that lives in NYC and has experienced great cuisine all over the world. Long ago I had been to the original Art of the Table - the one just a few blocks from the current one - and it was a cool experience. I'd not been to the new location and didn't really know what to expect. The restaurant is beautiful and welcoming. There is no loud music making conversation difficult. The bar seating is great if you want to watch food preparation, and I would recommend it. The menu is interesting, and has a choice of 7-course fixed price or a la carte. The a la carte menu shares some dishes and the fix prix menu, but not all. They can accommodate vegans and, given their kitchen talents, probably any food restrictions. We both chose the fix prix menu with the wine pairing, so that is just over two hundred per person, before tip and tax. I believe they brought us three amuse bouches. One was an oyster, and I am not a fan of oysters. It wasn't bad. In fact, nothing we were served was bad. However, very little that we had was truly great...in fact, I think it was an amuse bouche that really stood out. The dishes were all beautiful, colorful, extremely well described to us, and properly cooked. The problem is that most of them were good, and the wine pairings were good, but they just were not worth the overall cost of the meal. For example, I had many meals at Rovers over the years, so very similar price and number of courses. Rovers never disappointed, and I always felt that I got my money's worth. This was not the case at AoTT. In my opinion (as a foodie and wine collector) the meal should be $25 less and the wine pairings should be $20-25 less. They are not serving expensive wines, and the pours are rather frugal. The tip was added on for me without my input. I felt disappointed by the total when the bill came, not 'yep! worth every penny!'
Had an amazing birthday dinner here! Every dish was unique and delicious, but my favorites were the halibut and the final dessert course. Would definitely go back!
Absolutely incredible. Chef made amazing dishes perfectly curated to my table's allergies/restrictions. More than worth it!!
Wow!! What a wonderful culinary experience we had recently at Art of the Table! I was visiting my daughter and her boyfriend. They had heard about this restaurant and wanted to try it. We opted to go with the "small plates" option instead of the tasting menu. All of the items ordered were presented beautifully and tasted truly amazing. Start to finish, every dish was delicious and artfully prepared/presented. Our server, LeeAnn, was very well versed in the menu options and was a delight! We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to visiting again soon. Don't hesitate to add this restaurant to the list of favorites in Fremont area!!!
very rigid about the tasting menu requirement and the small plates menu was quite limited and the portions were tiny.
Monday night was very quiet, which can be a plus! Shared a variety of great dishes among three adults. This is one of my favorite "special occasion" restaurants in Seattle. Creative and tasty food and great service. Can't say what it is like when its busy, but it was perfect.
Overall underwhelmed for the price. We had high expectations and it really fell flat.
Scallops were great but the paired it with orange slices with the seeds still in them and celery that was fermented which overpowered the scallops. It shocked the pallet.
The Wagyu beef was tough and when we told by the waiter that it was a "hybrid" Wagyu beef. We know our beef and it was overcooked. The waiter didn't suggest removing the steak and correcting the issue.
Overall an OK dinner, but $600 for 3 people, one who didn't drink, and 20% gratuity on top of alcohol was a little crazy.
I would skip this restaurant. It was very overpriced for what we received. Sorry!!!
The food is good, it great but the evening is enjoyable. I would recommend spending a few more dollars and going to Canlis so that you get a tremendously delicious meal for the price.
We came to Art of the Table for Valentine’s Day. We were underwhelmed by our experience. The service was a little slow and we felt like value wise it wasn’t the best.
$125 a plate 7 “course” dinner. Courses were more like bites. Service was painfully slow and by the end of our 3-1/2 hr dinner my exhaustion overwhelmed my palate. Gratuity was included as well so 2 meals and 3 drinks ended up costing about $400. Not worth it.
The food was amazing! The staff was amazing!! Our server, she was so AMAZING! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!
This was the worst tasting, tasting menu that I've ever had. The food was either too salty or had way too much lemon. It was worth a try, but I probably won't ever go back.
Excellent food. The 3 hour spacing of separate courses was poorly timed and caused extended lulls in service.
Top two best meals of my life, and I’ve been all over the world and tried many many different restaurants. Excellent service staff including our waitress, she was the best.

This was our second time at Art of the Table and will be back for sure. Amazing menu and the service was incomparable. James, our server, was simply outstanding and such a knowledgeable sommelier as well. One of the great aspects of this restaurant is that the tables are wide and so there is plenty of space for a large party to stretch out. Likewise, the tables are ideally distanced from one another to give you privacy and help keep the noise to a minimum. Again, an amazing experience and one that we will be back to enjoy.

Art of the Table is by far the best restaurant in Seattle. When we are trying to decide where to eat out, we usually default to AOTT because we have not been able to find better. Local ingredients and creative recipes. They also have a great wine pairing. Most restaurants around Seattle default to a "local-wine-only" pairing, but AOTT finds the best wine from around the world to pair with the dish. Excellent.

Being from California we expected to have a 7 course meal that was exactly what we paid for a “Tasting Menu”. Although service was great, the food wasn’t. From our entire meal we only had a truffle pasta which we upgraded to that was decent. The order our food was served did not match. The first three items before our tasting began we’re good. Once are tasting began it nose dived completely. In tastings we’ve experienced prior to here such as Vespa, Scratch and others, your dishes are served after one is finished. There was several occasions were the dishes were doubled up in our table taking away from the experience of a tasting menu. Cocktails are good the food and order of tasting needs work. Definitely not worth the price if you understand what a tasting menu is suppose to be like. We wish this restaurant the best and hope that this review helps them increase there quality.
Wonderful service and ambience and great food with gorgeous plating - but beware hidden fees and “upgrades” disguised as parallel options. An interesting - but not necessarily “good value” - experience, as we paid 25% or so more than what our on-menu numbers for food, drinks and gratuity suggested we should.
Memorable. Great fun and will go again.
For three people, with wine pairing, the cost was $823 for mediocre food. WAY WAY over priced! I went to Lark two nights ago and the price was ~$80/person, including 2 glasses of wine. The menu here a AoTT was confusing and the prices were not posted! The food served didn't seem to match what was on the menu. Go somewhere else! I haven't felt this ripped off in 30 years.
We went for my boyfriend’s 50th birthday—and every detail was well planned. They welcomed us warmly (we were a little early) and sat us right away. We enjoyed cocktails and several small plates before the tasting menu began. All in all it was perfect for our special occasion.
We had a family holiday dinner at Art of the Table. I had heard really good things about the restaurant and their innovative tasting menu. The presentation and courses were beautiful and delicious. I loved the additional amouse-bouches! The wait staff, when delivering courses, did a good job of describing each dish. I wish we had opted for the wine pairing. At an additional $80 per person, it is a much better value than ordering individual bottles of wine. It was a lively atmosphere, and the service was good.
Wouldn’t go again but fine for one time experience... overpriced for sure.
Nothing amazing to celebrate a birthday so why ask?

We were excited for a ‘chefs table’ experience and expected some interaction from the chefs. There was none
This was an extremely expensive ‘experience’ with very slow service and too much time in between courses. Very small portions. Happy we didn’t opt for pairing component as this would have sent the cost through the roof. I have no problem paying for great food and great service but this was lacking on all counts There were plenty of empty seats so they can’t argue that perhaps they were overwhelmingly busy
Will not visit this restaurant again

It was our first time to Art of the Table, we sat down and were immediately given the tasting menu by the host. There were no prices on the menu so we went along to do the courses. We had one cocktail, one beer, and two people meal cost ~$400 (tax not included)! Then we learned there's actually another menu with which we could order individual dishes... The host should have at least mentioned it when we sat down.
Service was great but the portion was small and didn't taste like it was worth $400. Pretty disappointed and felt tricked.

The drinks was nice.
The only thing I didn’t like it’s the all courses flavors was very similar. Smoked, cheese and sour.
The last two courses before dessert I stop eating because the flavors was to much for me.
Nothing fresh in the all tasting menu expect the firs dish.
