Pico's was excellent as always. We make a point of going whenever we are in Houston.
Excellent, as usual!
Excellent food and service. The price was higher than expected.
Great soft shell crab. Perhaps Pico’s is the best place in Houston to enjoy soft shell crabs.
Place was loud and warm. Service was very very slow then the food was cold. I recognize the challenges restaurants are having yet I saw our server standing around plenty. I don’t know. Maybe just a bad day.
This restaurant offers great variety of food and it’s remarkable how they attach to original mexican flavors.
We had a wonderful Mother's Day breakfast at Pico's. Service and food made it a special day for us all!
First time visit. Brought the family to celebrate Mother’s Day. We were seated right away which was nice there was no wait. The environment is great have no complaints with the noise or the establishment. What I did not like is having to wait for refills of chips, drinks even just water wasn’t refilled. Waiter was very informative of the menu and was attentive to our requests but our requests were for more refills, chips, silver ware stuff that shouldn’t need to be asked for in a place like this. One other things is my food came out cold but by the time I was able to get a hold of someone to reheat I just instead dealt with it. Great tasting food. My wife loved it so that’s all that matters especially being Mother’s Day.
Our first pandemic restaurant experience, over 14 months since we've been in a restaurant, and Pico's was stellar! Outstanding food, great table service, and the drinks were topnotch. Pico's politics (expecting masks, caring for its workers) also makes the food even better. I recommend supporting Pico's with your dollars.
Great birthday celebration with friends.
Excellent variety on buffet and replenished often. Server was attentive but not obtrusive.
Excellent food, skinny margaritas worth Serrano pepper 🌶 and service!
Great food, Great fun. Mariachis were amazing. This is our anniversary place every here.
Always great service and food.
The margaritas were perfect, the food was excellent and Javier, our waiter was outstanding. It was a low key birthday celebration and we never felt rushed or interrupted, but Javier was there for whatever you needed. It had been quite some time since my last visit, but I won't let so much time lapse again. It was a perfect. Again, thank you Javier your your outstanding service.
Best Mole, Tortilla Soup, and Spinach Enchiladas in the state! Truly authentic and absolutely delicious. And the best margaritas in the south.
Service was very good and waiter was attentive. My friend enjoyed the chili rellenos and said they were very good. We shared the Nachos Jorge which are always good. The atmosphere in the smaller room is the one we enjoy the most.
Always good food. Salmon is an excellent waiter. For many years
Great experience!! Even my husband was impressed and that usually never happens. 🙂
Very good food. Service was a little slow. Hand an enjoyable meal.
We have been eating at Picos for over 15 years. It’s been our go to Tex mex. we are not giving up on it but we have noticed a recurring drop off in the quality of they fajitas. Beef not as good and chicken coming out dry as a bone. Margaritas remain great! We are hoping you guys can correct whatever is going wrong
Pico's remains our go-to when wanting to show off to our out of town guests the quality of Houston's restaurants.
My wife and I decided to go out for brunch near friends and found this gem. Menu was fantastic. Food was incredible. Mimosas were awesome. Loved it.
Our go to Spot for Menudo and Pizole.......Absolutely DELICIOUS !!!!
Ive been going to Pico’s since it’s opening in the mid ‘80’s. The food is good and the margaritas are good.
Sunday brunch buffet was delish!!! Raw oysters, shrimp, ceviche, salad and a line of scrumptious Tex-Mex plus a line of deserts!!!
Great place and I look forward to going again!!!
Too noisy. Too expensive! Waiter never came back and asked if everything was alright. Never going back
We had dinner with friends at Pico’s last weekend. We have had good experiences there in the past. The service was very good and attentive. The ambiance was nice. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t at the level we expected, and have had in the the past. The specials sounded delicious, but my wife’s fish was disappointing. My beef dish missed the mark by a lot. Didn’t even want to finish it. Not sure what happened this time. But, it gives us much hesitation to return. We hope this was just a COVID era challenge for them. The food value was mismatched with the prices.
Great experience as always!
My birthday luncheon with family
The food at Pico's is wonderful, more Mex-Mex than Tex-Mex. We really appreciate how they have continued to maintain distancing with their tables and require masks. It makes us feel safe going there.
we sat on the patio since weather was nice but were surprised to learn it was smoking - i didnt know you could do that in Houston anymore. luckily until the very end, no one was smoking. it was nice and quiet. our waitress was extremely friendly and kind. good menu recs.
My primary dissatisfaction was with the food. Otherwise, it was great. I believe this is the first buffet brunch they have had this year, so I will give them another chance. But the food must improve to keep people coming in regularly. Nice place with very good service. $15 mimosas were shocking, but you get refills for a penny. Don't touch the horse.
It was awesome! Celebrated my mom birthday and we definitely enjoyed it!
I loved the experience of regional dishes. I had the Mole Rijo and it was amazing! Can’t wait to come back.
Open table reservation was easy. Made a request in notes for outside table and it was arranged. No valet now. That wasn't a problem for us. But, they've taken up several parking spots with their tamale sales and some other vehicles. If fully busy, parking would be an issue. Food and drink were great, as usual.
All good. Salmon, our waiter is always Great ! Good experiance
