Service was terrible. No waiter really…no one checked in on us, greeted us and acted annoyed bc we didn’t order everything in the 1 visit he made to our table (drinks/apps/main). I ordered spaghetti & meatballs and the meatballs were obviously frozen, store bought (Trader Joe’s) and the pasta was from a box not home made. The sauce was very salty and not fresh. Very disappointed.
Food and service was great! Beautiful day out on the patio facing the river!
The good is horrible but the location and the ambiance is great. The tables outdoor is not comfortable to seat 4 people. Only two can sit without getting their legs hit in the table, other two will need to sit with their legs cramped because of the metal in the table. Service was very okay nothing special. Food is horrible, nothing tasted good including the drinks and dessert. But the location close to water is exceptional and I think people just come for it. I wish the management hire better chefs that know how to cook Italian food and service people that are more friendly.
Service was excellent, as always. Beautiful atmosphere. Food was good, but the scallop appetizer was overpriced for what it was- three small scallops with some corn. Would not purchase that appetizer again.
Ambiance , Setting & Service were excellent
Food not so great - ordered Tagliatelle Pasta with Lamb Shank - hardly any lamb - sauce was very acidic and tasteless
Caesar Salad was decent
Horrible service. Food was good but overpriced.
Enjoyable despite the many local crawling and flying bugs which were distracting as they crawled on table or flew in customer’s hair.
Food was great.
Our favorite go to restaurant in Westport - great food and beautiful setting and view
Went early on a Wednesday night, so not a lot of people at first. Service was ok. App & entrees were good, but not outstanding. When making reservation, it asked what the occasion was (32nd anniversary), but no mention of it whatsoever, so not sure why you ask. We ordered 2 vodka tonics, when we received the tab, they were $15 each! To me that is ridiculous, just because of a zip code. I most likely will not return.
If you want to eat your dinner in a good place on the water in Westport, this is where you should go - lovely setting! Just what we wanted to our 4th of July celebration. The food was very good especially the rack of lamb! If I had to complain it would be that two of the servers we had had difficulty with the language affecting communication a bit. Otherwise the servers were friendly and efficient. It was a good experience and and we would certainly go back and bring friends with us.
The seafood was so fresh and delicious. Staff provided excellent service. I will definitely return.
Wonderful meal on the patio on a perfect Sunday summer evening. The food was great, service led by Vinicio was impeccable.
We sat outside by the water, and had a lovely meal. We came for our anniversary. The food was very good, and the staff was attentive and helpful. We definitely recommend this place!
Ok food and great ambiance. Service fell short for such a nice upscale restaurant.
he view and the outdoor seating was fantastic - would definitely go back!
Everything was very good: service, ambiance, noise level. Definitely we’ll be back.
The management was very accommodating. We were at our table outdoors when it started drizzling. They immediately moved us inside when we requested to go inside.
Honestly, not great. It has a great set up outdoors for outdoor dining, but between the quality of food and service it was really poor quality. We were there when the weather started off okay, but it was clearly going to downpour and they waited until it was down pouring to start moving people in. In addition to that, the waiter was short and told us he would not come back later to get our dinner order when we asked for another 5 mins after ordering drinks. The busboys were great. But their treatment from the restaurant/ management was horrible. They had to still run outdoors (because people were still outside in that downpour) and clearly were not offered the opportunity to dry off, change or even an umbrella. Despite that, they were the most polite of the staff and attentive. For drinks, 1 appetizer and 4 entrees - the whole ordeal was over 2 hours 45 mins. Normally, I wouldn’t mind but this was pretty slow moving and disorganized. Not worth it, there are better places to eat in Westport.
The outdoor riverfront setting was absolutely beautiful and our meal was fantastic! Everything was so fresh, perfectly prepared, and delicious. Wait staff was efficient but not friendly. Not sure if they were having a bad day or if that's typical.
We sat outside by the water. Good service and food and a lovely location on a perfect day.
Would have preferred if wait staff were wearing face masks. Took forever to get bread on the table and we got it because we asked for it. Food quality was good but felt like wait staff could have been more attentive. Never even heard if there were any specials or anything.
Food selection & quality are high. Service is efficient and friendly. But the best part is the comfortable & scenic setting on the patio on the banks of the Saugutuck overlooking downtown Westport.
This must rate as one of the worst dining experiences in a long time. Other than the great location, everything was wrong.
We were served, including our orders being taken, by two busboys who were not remotely proficient in English. One of them was stuffed into a work shirt two sizes too small, indicating that these were last-minute hires. They mixed up both the main course and the dessert orders.
The halibut special, when it arrived, was microwaved, dry and stringy, and the chocolate lava cake was cold!
The main server for the table was surly, abrupt and inattentive, and spent most of the evening running cluelessly between tables.
When we complained about the poor food and service, he was combative and lectured us about the proper procedure to complain!
The "manager" was no better and blamed us for making a reservation when they had issues with staffing due to the pandemic... no other restaurant in Fairfield County has had any issues providing quality service.
I counted at least 5 other tables where the orders were wrong or the food was sent back. The largest table waited for service for over half an hour and had to get up and approach a server to get served.
And all this was in a restaurant that was less than 20% full, at a prime Sunday dining period.
The service was reminiscent of the worst of the worst of deplorable tourist traps. They have hired unqualified people to save on costs, and need to fire every server and busboy masquerading as a server, and pay appropriately to attract proper staff.
We had a great dinner outside at Arezzo. The patio is really nice and the food was great! We had a Beet Salad and a Pear Salad to start which were delicious and then we shared the Pollo Scarpiello and the Melanzane Forno with a half order of pasta and everything was very tasty. It was a terrific experience.
Great restaurant for a business lunch or family gathering. Beautiful venue, great food and good service. Will definitely go back.
Excellent very authentic Italian cuisine and atmosphere. Top knotch location and service
Food was good and the ambiance outdoors was very nice.
The service was mediocre; simply given menu and just got the food. No additional effort or feeling that we were catered to given the level of the restaurant.
Excellent experience! We enjoyed our time; the waiters were attentive and food delicious.
Meal was delicious!
Would consider going again.
Loved the atmosphere. The food was very good. I had Pasta and meatballs. The service was excellent. For dessert, I had Lava cake with a vanilla Gelato side
We have ben to Arezzo many times over the years. The primary reason we go is their outdoor patio. It is a lovely and very relaxing setting. The menu offers a nice mix of antipasta/meat and pasta courses and salads and the food is always good, but I would not say outstanding. The service can sometimes be slow but the servers are all very nice and professional. My big complaint is that it is very overpriced. Three of us went there last night. We had all total, three appetizers, 2 main courses (a pasta dish and a seafood stew), 2 glasses of Prosecco, one beer, one Diet Coke. That's it. It was $160 before tip. We always say we aren't going to come back but then we do because we love that outdoor seating and the overall atmosphere!
We celebrated my birthday & it was absolutely perfect!
Beautiful spot to dine al fresco on the River.
The food was average and very pricey. Nice ambiance.
Great outdoor patio overlooking the water! It was a very enjoyable lunch with my best friends:)
Sat outside and the weather was beautiful along with the atmosphere. Food was delicious!
Great place for dining! A family favorite.
Service was always in a hurry, despite 30% capacity. Food came fast... too fast. My salmon was cold and the pasta was super hot. The salad was good.
The food was great and service was awesome
We thought the food was poor/fair. The calamari were fishy, rubbery and had an oily taste.
The shrimp on the fennel salad appeared half cooked.
Very pricey for mediocre food.
