We had a great dinner outside at Arezzo. The patio is really nice and the food was great! We had a Beet Salad and a Pear Salad to start which were delicious and then we shared the Pollo Scarpiello and the Melanzane Forno with a half order of pasta and everything was very tasty. It was a terrific experience.
Excellent very authentic Italian cuisine and atmosphere. Top knotch location and service
Food was good and the ambiance outdoors was very nice.
The service was mediocre; simply given menu and just got the food. No additional effort or feeling that we were catered to given the level of the restaurant.
Excellent experience! We enjoyed our time; the waiters were attentive and food delicious.
Meal was delicious!
Would consider going again.
Loved the atmosphere. The food was very good. I had Pasta and meatballs. The service was excellent. For dessert, I had Lava cake with a vanilla Gelato side
We have ben to Arezzo many times over the years. The primary reason we go is their outdoor patio. It is a lovely and very relaxing setting. The menu offers a nice mix of antipasta/meat and pasta courses and salads and the food is always good, but I would not say outstanding. The service can sometimes be slow but the servers are all very nice and professional. My big complaint is that it is very overpriced. Three of us went there last night. We had all total, three appetizers, 2 main courses (a pasta dish and a seafood stew), 2 glasses of Prosecco, one beer, one Diet Coke. That's it. It was $160 before tip. We always say we aren't going to come back but then we do because we love that outdoor seating and the overall atmosphere!
We celebrated my birthday & it was absolutely perfect!
Beautiful spot to dine al fresco on the River.
The food was average and very pricey. Nice ambiance.
Great outdoor patio overlooking the water! It was a very enjoyable lunch with my best friends:)
Sat outside and the weather was beautiful along with the atmosphere. Food was delicious!
Great place for dining! A family favorite.
Service was always in a hurry, despite 30% capacity. Food came fast... too fast. My salmon was cold and the pasta was super hot. The salad was good.
The food was great and service was awesome
We thought the food was poor/fair. The calamari were fishy, rubbery and had an oily taste.
The shrimp on the fennel salad appeared half cooked.
Very pricey for mediocre food.
We were seated in a private-ish area....we were a party of 5 seated at a table for 7 and we welcomed the extra space. Most of the tables inside were occupied and basically all of the outside tables were taken. There were two private parties occurring.
The service was lacking - it was a long wait for everything, likely because of the private parties concurrently going on. The waitstaff were busting their butts but it’s not a great look or experience.
The food was little to be desired. We ordered the beet salad, which was the best thing we ordered (outside of the bottle of wine). We also ordered the burrata which was good but nothing special - served In the middle of cherry tomatoes cut in half. For main meals, we ordered veal parm, chicken parm, orrechiette, linguini with clams and the penne with tomatoes & eggplant (asked for grilled chicken on top). The parms both came out as if someone took a piece of pre-sliced cheese (think of American cheese you get at the market) and slapped it on top just before quickly melting it with a hand burner. Not to mention the seran wrap we found stuck to the chicken parm...
The linguini with clams smelt like feet and didn’t taste much better (I was personally looking forward to this dish because I love clams). The penne was good and the orrechiette was good.
Would recommend for only drinks outside overlooking the River. Nothing else.
Beautiful patio for dining! Staff was attentive and food was amazing! Will go back again.
Great location, food was quite subpar. I'm not sure I would go back.
Great Outdoor dining venue on a spring evening. Service, was, spotty. Manager said he has insufficient staff.
The location on a nice night outside would be nice. Inside very loud & cold. Limited mixed drinks- flowers on table in colored water & colors mixed not good. Food was good- a bit pricey for what it was... parking a big issue. There’s also a leak in glass enclosure- leaking droplets on my head... then my sons after he nicely switched w me. Must be doing something right bc was very busy.
First off I am a regular restaurant connoisseur. Have been a member on open table since about 2006-2007. Came here for Mother’s Day and couldn’t be more disappointed and dissatisfied. First the hostess sat us on a handicapped ramp with our 1 year old daughter in stroller so people would try to pass through and I would have to get up to move her. (Not to mention huge violation blocking the ramp) the hostess simply didn’t want to sit us in the main area and said the tables were taken for bigger parties of 4 people (we were a party of 3) that never showed up the hour and 40’minutes we were there. Our waiter Ervin K came took orders and then never returned until we finished our entree. The food runner brought the wrong entree so had to wait for the correct one. We had no drinks I asked someone to please bring another round and it didn’t arrive till we were done eating. The waiter then apologized and used where they seated us as an excuse to why he kept forgetting about our table. He then offered to comp one set of drinks and then brought the check not even asking if we wanted dessert. Then when I finally asked for the check the drinks were still on there ($12 glass of wine and a coke , but still) now were sitting here waiting for him to get the check and my daughter is starting to get fussy since we been sitting there from 1:40pm-3pm. I finally have to go find someone to give me change because it appears that we were The forgotten table. Will definitely not be returning and a restaurant of this magnitude should have more professional servers and perhaps prepare for special occasions.
Nice location on the river. Food was meh. Ordered fettuccine with mushrooms and some kind of sauce with truffle oil. Not sure if that is the sauce it actually came with. Did not taste any truffle oil and there were small bits of eggshell in it. Mushrooms had a bit of a canned taste. Service was pleasant but a little slow. Originally were going to order dessert but skipped it because it took a really long time for someone to come take the order and by that point we were all freezing cold and just wanted to leave.
It was delicious and very nice ambiance!
Lovely outdoor seating area but food was mediocre at best and not worth the price. Waiter added a $10 glass of wine to the bill until we brought it to his attention. No convenient parking . Would not eat there again !
The food was nothing to be impressed about. The whole experience left much to be desired.
Lovely setting. Perfect fine service. Food good not outstanding. Usual downtown Westport prices. The real draw is the view.
Dining at Arezzo since the onset of Covid was a nice experience. Everything was enjoyable. One small point, veal as tasty as it was, was just a tad tough. Hopefully this will be helpful to the kitchen.
I love the setting at Arezo. Everything else is "Okay", however, I imagine there are better places to spend money and have a better experience.
On a nice day or night there are few places better, in Westport, than Arezzo. You feel like you're in Venice. And the Italian fare is pretty good, too.
Gorgeous al fresco lunch on the River. Go on a sunny day! Food was solid. They got caught without a scheduled server, but other than that, it was a lovely lunch. Recommend!
We go often. Food is great, outdoor setting can't be beat. Only complaint last time we ate was the service to begin with was a little slow. We had an early seating outdoors and I expect they had more covers than normal. And probably hard to predict as the pandemic slows. But they adjusted and sorted everything out. would definitely recommend.
Great location. Table spacing perfect. Outdoors on a nice spring night. Problem is the food. Just so average. Not bad, but definitely not great.
First time to dine at Arezzo - we'll be back. Definitely met expectations for food quality, ambiance and service.
My family went out to eat after almost a year together and the server was so rude. He refused to ask the chef what I could eat as I am a vegan. I always go to restaurants with Italian, Indian or Asian food and always have something good to eat. This restaurant is Italian so the waiter told me the only thing I could have was a salad. That is not dinner! The server refused to ask the chef so we left! Never again!
It was Monday night, so not very crowded, that said , it was one of our first dining experiences since the pandemic, we would have assumed the service and attention would be better.. the food was mediocre at best.
The hostess at this restaurant was the rudest I have ever encountered. She told us there was no table for our reservation. We then had to wait for about 20 minutes. Sat us at a table outdoors as requested but one without heaters, even through there were other tables available. Took them another 15 to set us up and the table next to us asked to leave and have their food wrapped before it even came out because it was taking too long. Overall an honestly unpleasant experience, mostly because of the hostess. I’m from NYC and have never experienced anything like her level of rudeness.
Very understaffed. We waited an hour for the food. One man was the waiter for all of the outside tables (about 12 tables). He was very busy to really care about all of the tables. We had to ask for silverware and water. After an hour, we asked for our food to go as it was getting cold outside. The heater did not do that much.
Always terrific food. Great outdoor dining
It was a very quiet Friday night. Only two other tables. Seemed a bit depressing that no one was out when things are supposed to start opening up. It will be much more uplifting when we can eat outside! 5.00 for a soda water!!
