Our server was very attentive. Chicken fried oysters were very well prepared however there was not quite enough sauce at the bottom. Veal gnocchi was so so, kind of one dimensional. New York steak was cooked well, however not quite seasoned enough, and the Mac and cheese was very bland. Not a bad meal, but not worth what we paid.
We enjoyed fantastic food and service! Will definitely be back!
It was great! We visited the restaurant twice during our stay at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort. Both my wife and I recognize there was something different for the better! Turns out they have a new Chef and the food was AWESOME! I had the NY strip and wife had the filet. We both thought it was great! My son and daughter both had the catch of the day - snapper and were very happy. Highly recommend, even if not staying at the resort.
Went for my birthday. Yes we checked the prices beforehand and expected it to be pricey but I’ll still say it was pricey. $220 for a family of 4 with no alcohol or desert. I mean let’s start with $17 for a kids chicken dish. The food was really good though. Service wasn’t the greatest. It took 90 minutes to get our dinner (even the kids!) and the waitress didn’t even come to make sure we were happy with our entrees. For that price it should come quickly and service should be much better.
Not sure we will return.
Overall, dinner was fantastic! Especially the main dish. Salad was lacking! Service was awesome.
Slow, very slow service/food. Food only so-so for the price.
We had a really lovely dinner. Terrific service and we loved everything we ordered. I had a Fantastic grilled salmon entree and husband really enjoyed his bison brisket. Very slim offerings for dessert. I almost always order dessert and didn’t want to order anything from their entire dessert menu -so just passed on it. Dinner was still wonderful despite this minor item!
Adam, our server, couldn’t have been more attentive or helpful. The food was very good, I just felt the sauces and accompaniments served were a little strange. We dined there 2 nights. One night I had the lamb chops. Really good but 2 little dabs of sauce, one a spicy chimichurri type sauce and the other a mustard sauce. Neither went well with the lamb in my opinion.
Second night we had the filet. It was wonderful but served with a small frisée salad and cold cipollini onions.
Caesar salad was wonderful and the chocolate, peanut, banana , a caramel dessert was fabulous!
Wonderful dinner. Enjoyed the chicken fried oysters!
Nice 3 star level ambience. Very good wait staff. Pork chop too dry, Mac and cheese in exciting. Overpriced for the final product.
Excellent ribeye cap steak!
Great steak dinner. superb service.
The service and food were great! Highly recommend this place!
Excellent food with attentive service. The steaks were outstanding!
Unexpectedly great dining experience in a hotel resort. Wild game selections and great wine by the glass selections and wonderful craft cocktails
The overall experience dining at Antlers lodge was very nice, we enjoyed the food and our waiter was very friendly, attentive and exceeded our expectations.
We did find the dining room to be quite dark making it difficult to read the menu and see the good food that was presented.
Great anniversary spot.
The food was great, but the portion size was pretty small for the price.
Our server Adam was outstanding!
This will definitely be our our go to for any day.
Would go back again 😃
A great way to Celebrate our anniversary
The service was great and the food was amazing. I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly.
We ate at Antlers Lodge for our anniversary/babymoon, staying onsite at the Hyatt Hill Country. Our waiter was extremely attentive and understanding of my special pregnancy-related dietary needs. The bread plate is solid with buns that remind me of Portuguese sweet bread while my husband liked the cheddar/bacon biscuits. I'm not a fan of salmon but theirs was to die for. My husband enjoyed his turf and surf and while overwhelmingly sweet, our desserts kept us digging our spoons in for more. Our dinner turned what had been a rather long day for us into a relaxing evening with a memorable meal.
The consensus at our table was that the food was over-cooked, over-salted, and over-priced. The chocolate martinis for dessert were small and over-priced.
The service was not as good as I expected. The drinks and food took a long time to arrive and it was not that busy. They forgot to bring our sides with the main course. The server offered to take our drink order but she had no knowledge of the drinks and she had to bring someone else to assist. There was commotion with some disrespectful customers a few tables away that looked like they had too much to drink. The manager did not do a good job of controlling the situation and it was so so vad that we almost left in the middle of our meal.
Had a 5:30 reservation and staff
Waiter was very good but seemed to have too many tables for the price being charged.
John, good looking young man, was awesome! Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
The interior is very nice. Service was fairly quick. Prices are pretty high but I will admit the quality of the food was excellent. I had the filet mignon and it was very, very good. I will not go back again, though. I went to Antlers Lodge for a romantic dinner. Everything was going well until they seated 12 plus middle aged men who were drinking a lot. Needless to say the noise level went up exponentially. Pretty much ruined the night for my wife and me. Overall, the place is very nice. Too bad they have no concern when it comes to controlling their loud customers who ruin the night for others.
John was a very attentive and infomative waiter. The new chef is making some exciting and very tasty dishes. I must add that the Creme Burlee needs some attention. It wasn't the best I've ever had and I order this dessert almost everytime we eat out. The chef sent over the chicken fried oysters as an appetizer. The oysters were cooked perfectly and the aoili was very tasty. Overall, we had a wonderful delicious dining experience.
On this particular night I rated the food 2 stars. Keith (manager) was super apologetic. He didn't have too but he comp our meal. Thanks Keith! My husband and I come here at least 1-2 times a month..and every time the food has been Amazing! Overall I did rate them 5 stars...Everyone is entitled to an off day I suppose. The service and the ambiance is like no other..Keith (manager)and our server Adam treat us like family, regardless of how busy the restaurant is. Bartender and hostess are amazing as well.
A pretty large open restaurant with an open kitchen. Low music allowed for conversation but chefs loudly calling out orders was a bit disturbing. Sitting near the fireplace was nice on a cool night. The low lighting made it difficult to read the menu. Grouper and lamb chop entrees were very good. Service was very good and unobtrusive. Would go there again for a special occasion.
While staying at the Hyatt resort for a seminar we made reservations at the Antler’s Lodge. Our table was right by the fireplace and perfect! The food was wonderful and they were accommodating for our children as well with a children’s menu which is rare at places such at this. I had the salmon and it was perfect. My husband had the elk and it was fabulous as well! I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area even! It was by far the best food we had during our entire stay!
The food was perfectly prepared and the wait staff was impeccable. Quiet romantic ambience made it perfect for a dinner date. Just across the hotel compound is a lively bar with an excellent selection of liquor.
From the start we were greeted with open arms. Late night and last minute change of plans lead us to this hidden gem . Service was excellent and food options were explained very well. Wine choices were excellent as well appetizers. Dinner was prompt and fresh. Will return again for excellent service and food quality
Our meal was wonderful. The staff was attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back.
The service was excellent, the mushroom, eggplant risotto was delicious! Also, the truffle fries were super crisp and tasty. Had a great time!
I had the spice rubbed elk. Elk was delicious just not sure were the spice was though.
Our meal of New York Strip Steak and a 5 oz lobster tail was excellent. The steak was cooked to just the perfect temperature and mouth watering to the taste, and the lobster was succulent and sweet. The salad to start the meal was very good, and the different bread offerings were outstanding. The service was good, and the ambiance is always excellent at Antlers. The tables are far enough apart to give a nice sense of privacy. All-in-all, an outstanding dining experience!
