   Clear that waitress knew our large party tip was guaranteed so she focused on other tables. Bummed. I used to like this place.

   They serve the best Sicilian food in the county! Best to reserve on Saturdays. Always full, but it's worth the wait

   Anniversary dinner, a fav of ours. The staff is attentive, efficient, and friendly with great service. The food was over the top. From drinks to dessert. the Main course was amazingly succulent. My sea bass was decadent and mouthwatering over mashed potatoes and garden vegetables. The pistachio salmon was moist and tasty it was over a bed of risotto. Both stellar.

   Our Anniversary Dinner last night was exceptional in every regard. The Service provided was perfect and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. We have visited this restaurant before and the food is always top notch but I think our choice of Sea bass and Chicken Piccata both served with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies were absolutely amazing and are still being dreamed of today. We highly recommend Attica Trattoria for any occasion, special or not😃👍

   I took my wife here for a birthday dinner. The place was packed. There were people outside waiting for tables the entire time we were there. Due to the amount of diners, our waitress was not as attentive as one would hope. I will say she did her best. That being said, the food was fantastic. We had the linguine. Magnificent. The mussels appetizer was delicious. So was the fried zucchini stuffed with mozzarella. Unfortunately, the appetizers were small for the price. If I were to return, I would probably try a different appetizer or skip them all together. This place is definitely worth the hustle and bustle.

   Good excellent always noises but that’s no surprise. Our waitress was congenial and always smiling when we could get her attention. She seemed a bit distracted but overall it was a delicious night.

   Always a wonderful time at my favorite local restaurant. The squash blossom appetizer was my favorite, it was a special that night. Service was great even though they were busy. Can’t wait to return!

   I became very ill on July 2024 and, since then, have not been able to dine out until recently. So, it was a true treat to myself to go to the restaurant after almost 9 months. As always, Antica Trattoria had delicious food. This time, I took two friends from out of town. Needless to say, they were so very impressed with how tasty the dishes were and the wonderful service. We ordered the Chef's Special for two persons and one more main dish, and we shared the two salads from the Special. The main dishes we had were Cioppino, Calamari and Gamberi, and the Steak, special of that night, cooked med rare. Salads were Caesar and Antica's. Dessert was the house Spumoni Ice Cream. The Chef's Special also offered a bottle of wine, and we had the house Cabernet, which excellently paired with all of our dishes. Overall, I am so glad that Antica Trattoria remains operating and is consistently good, after so many years! I have been coming to Antica Trattoria for almost twenty years and really appreciate that such a great restaurant is in my city. La Mesa.
