   Service was super duper sloooow. Waitress was nice and attentive but took her ages to come get our order- even our drinks. Food was just ok- have had much better at other places. Coconut shrimp was on the oily side. Octopus- 2 orders- one was burnt and one was good. Overall- most likely won’t come back, but it wasn’t terrible.

   We arrived a little early for our 6:00 reservation and were seated immediately at a window table with a nice view. The service was quick and the food was delicious. My only complaint was the lack of anything "special" done for us to acknowledge my birthday. This is the second time in less than a month that I have used the "Special Occasion" feature on the Open Table site (an anniversary-at another restaurant) and had it ignored. Maybe this information wasn't relayed to the restaurants, maybe some restaurants don't bother to do anything. It just would would have been nice to be offered a beverage or a dessert or something.

   We’ve been to Anthony’s many many times - quick lunch, weekday dinner, sometimes to pick up fish from the market.....and it’s a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. This time we were a party of 8 for a family gathering. They graciously observed our seating preference request. There was something for everyone on the menu, everything was prepared well, and the service exemplary. Anthonys does not pretend to be anything it’s not - and in that context a totally enjoyable meal and experience.

   Fish was undercooked. Server was very miserly with extra condiment requests. Seemed irritated at requests for more. Adequate amounts should have come with the meal.

   We are new to East County and kept seeing this seafood place from the 8. Friday we decided to try it. It exceeded expectation. It was busy and buzzy, service very good and although the food was excellent, it is of a style. That style is a touch traditional dinner house. But excellent none the less. The setting is stylised and we liked it. Being an evening in January we did not get to enjoy the lakeside position as much as we would have liked, so we will return to do so. And that is the bottom line. In a place full of excellent dining options, we will be back.

   The air conditioning was blowing on us through the entire dinner and the food quality vs. cost was not what I expected. I have had great experiences in the past so maybe it was an off night.

    Such a beautiful restaurant. Weirdly, it’s very busy between 5-6pm and not busy towards 7. I think it’s because it’s mainly older people that eat there. Anyways, service and food were excellent!
