    Everything was wonderful, including she crab soup, trout dip, filet, and corn. Kyle was a great waiter. Best meal we’ve had in a long time.

    Wonderful service from start to finish - food was excellent and not overwhelming-flavors were wonderfully blended. Ambience and overall setting really special. We had a wonderful experience all around.

    Absolutely wonderful anniversary dinner! From the time we entered the door until they held the door for us as we left, everything was excellent. Service was perfect and the food amazing. This will become our special occasion restaurant!

    Anson is a Charleston gem. From cocktails to dessert, everything was top-notch. The She Crab Soup was rich and silky — a must-order. Shrimp Mafalde (those Royal Reds with spicy vodka sauce… wow), the melt-in-your-mouth Goat Cheese Gnocchi with Wagyu short rib, and the perfectly cooked Pan-Roasted Grouper with cashew curry. Don’t skip the sides — the charred broccolini and duck fat Greek potatoes were flavor bombs. Service was warm and on point.

    Best service at a restaurant we have ever experienced. Such lovely people! It was our anniversary and they went above and beyond for us. The food is to die for and the restaurant is beautifully decorated taking you back in time. Absolutely recommend!

    I had business guests in from out of town and wanted to share a Charleston iconic dining experience. Anson's is the spot of one of the best meals of my life nearly 30 years ago trying She Crab soup for the first time. Our party of 5 was seated at a great corner table and the service was great. Several of us had the whole fried flounder and it was delicious. Two of our guests ordered the Veal special only to be disappointed later to learn that they were out. That unfortunately that was the case for the second choice special as well. Other than that it was an great dining experience as usual at Anson and I look forward to my return. Its a great Southern atmosphere and usually less crowded than the Upper King Street hot spots.

    Love, love, love this place!! First time dining and the food and drinks were amazing, especially the Brussels sprouts! Definitely recommend and definitely will be back. Staff was great from the moment we walked through the door ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Some of the best food, service, and ambiance in Charleston...and that is saying a great deal! The Almond Bowl Dessert is the BEST dessert in Charleston.
