Ansari's Mediterranean Grill
Great food, service was great too. Also, the belly dancer was fun!
This was our first time visiting and we found the food so authentic and spot on flavor-wise - what a great find! We will be back for sure!
Better service than in the past, but the food was the same tasty faire!
The food was good but it was very slow. It took over 2 hours for dinner. We waited more than 45 minutes for our food.
Picked this place for my birthday excursion. They expertly handled all 18 of us with ease, giving tons of food and service at a moments notice. I REALLY appreciate how accommodating the staff was here. Hookah bar was a great time, and splitting a $20 hookah bill amongst 8 people REALLY makes it affordable. Would recommend again and again. Free birthday shot on fire.
Greek entrees were great
The time here was wonderful! The restaurant was beautiful. The staff was amazing. The food was great!
This is a great place to eat with plenty of variety on the menu across all of the courses. In addition, we were there on a Friday night and there was live music.
Left - very poor service.
Food was great! Service was a bit slow but they had just gotten a bunch of people in before us. Overall great!
The food was outstanding almost as good as homemade. The belly dancer was talented and beautiful. We will come back again and again.
This is a cozy, friendly place with good food and service. Our table sampled a variety of Greek appetizers and found all of them to be good. With its purple color theme, leather banquettes and lively atmosphere, it was a great place for a group of friends to dine.
Service is great at Ansari's, this is the best I can say. It was busy at 6pm on a Friday, the bar was very busy, so noisy. Food was very sub-par. Moroccan Platter came with Isreali couscous, the steak was VERY chewy - hint cheap cut. Stir Fry had fresh vegetables, but a Teriyaki Sauce - why is this available at a Mediterranean restaurant? The Gyro meat was just weird. Baklava has frosting?? When you put sauces, frostings, etc on food you are hiding something. We did not finish our dinners, nor will be returning.
The food was great and the server was very friendly. Highly recommended!
The food was wonderful! It's a little noisy for conversations, but there is belly dancing entertainment and live music. Very fun
Food was ok, staff was great. It was very loud with belly dancing, the chair we had was broken. We asked for a new chair and a different one never got brought out. Asked for a small greek salad- got a dinner salad. Inquired about it and they told me they gave me the wrong size on accident (no big deal) but then tried to charge me for the larger greek salad.
Waited for a table, though had a reservation; ordered right away, then waited for a bill...service is never smooth here, though right across from Ames Center and the gyros are fantastic!
The experience & ambiance were great. Excellent and friendly service, too. The lamb we ordered, unfortunately, was overcooked. The hookah didn’t seem high quality, either - and, accordingly, overpriced. Wide alcohol selection was spot-on. The belly dancing was great, although the total duration of the show/music was less than thirty minutes - which seemed insufficient/lackluster for a Saturday night. Overall, it was a nice experience, but quality in crucial areas (food & hookah quality, and entertainment duration) could use due attention.
Our waiter was excellent. We went here for the crab legs which they didn't have so we got steak instead. The New York Strip steak had a very bitter flavor to it. It did not taste good. We spent $97 there.
I am very disappointed. I want my money back or something to be done to reimburse me and my fiancee.
Exceptional Customer Service. Great Atmosphere. Incredible Food!
Great food and service but I don't like the sports bar theme/ambience. Too many TVs.
Service was not good. Food was average. I would give them another chance.
Very nice place we sat outside which was nice but it is next to a parking lot. Still a cool place. Next time we’ll try inside which looks nice. Food was very good. Our waitress was excellent. Very nice people. Thumbs up.
Food was really good. We liked it! And live music was really amazing had a great time.
The patio was perfect for tonight!
We have reservation for four and requested a booth. They put us at the high table by the bar with two kids. Got our reservation time wrong so we ended walking out without dining
The service was really bad. We went on Mother's Day for their brunch. We had a reservation and the hostess sat us right away. Then we sat for about 5 minutes with no one coming over to welcome us, say hello or anything. Having never been there before, we weren't sure if we were just supposed to get in line for the brunch or wait for someone to take our drink order. My husband went up to the bar and asked what we should do and they finally sent someone over. The drinks and the food were good. I would definitely go back, but with the expectation that you'll be waiting a while for someone to take your order and for drink refills.
As has become a tradition, my wife and I went to Ansari’s for Mother’s Day and was again happy to report the food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun.
Portions are large and the food is excellent.
I reserved a table outside for hookah. I was not greeted the first 15 mins I was there. By the time a waitress arrived and took my order , I order food , drinks , and hookah. I waited 20 mins , and never received even a drink or hookah. I went inside to find my waitress and she was no where to be found. After another 15 mins , still nothing was brought out. I went back inside and saw th waitress in the kitchen, she mentioned she didn’t even get a chance to put in the order ! So another 15 mins and I just gave up. As I was leaving she then came out with drinks ( which were wrong ) ... I am extremely disappointed with the service I experienced, I have been here plenty of times and had no complaints !
Ansari has great food, service, and atmosphere. It’s a good place for friends and family.
The food was great, with generous portions. The menu had enough choices so anyone should have been able to find something they liked. The wait service was good. Our waiter was friendly and energetic. The check-in was slow - we waited a few minutes (maybe 3-4) before anyone greeted us, and not because there was a long line.
Overall, a very good experience.
The restaurant was packed, which is usually a good sign. I ordered the lamb, which was delicious, as were the vegetables. The cous cous was too sticky for my taste, which brought my rating down a bit. The chatter of people(noise factor) was fine until the belly dancing started with the music. I could have done without that, as I'm there to enjoy the company of friends. It was my first time there, and I would recommend, although I'm not sure we will be back...
Amazing food and quality!!
We were very excited to go and left unimpressed. My Manhattan was terrible, our table top was sticky, it was very loud and the food was overpriced. The only highlight was that our server was nice. Despite that, I will never give this place another try.
Don't bother making a reservation. They will make you wait an additional 45 minutes before they seat you without explaining why there is a delay or giving an updated wait time. Not even a single apology was offered, and the Host/house manager was very rude to our party. Thank goodness the food was good. We'll take our business elsewhere though next time.
Very good food. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. Brought the wrong salad but was corrected immediately. Ran out of bread frequently.
Great food, wonderful service, and a nice setting. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and helped us find the perfect choice.
The server (Porcha) was great. She answered all questions we had pertaining to the menu!! Would go back again in a heartbeat!!
Amazing beer selection. Tons of gluten free options. Generous portions. Will be a new go-to place to take friends visiting town when we pick them up from the airport.
