We dined at Ansaris for a birthday celebration. The food is always outstanding and the substantive beer list made everyone happy. Ansaris is our favorite go to restaurant for Middle Eastern cuisine.
Tim was great and took care of family , it was a fun atmosphere
Everything was great. Excellent beer list and food
We took our adult kids for dinner and it was fantastic.
Ansari's is a great alternative to the hassle of driving downtown.
The fact that they offer some entertainment is what drew us there.
Also they have a nice variety of interesting menu options.
Noise level made conversation difficult. Service mediocre. Food good but not great.
Friendly hosts and servers. Never disappointed in the food here. We had 10 people ages 6-65 who all enjoyed the food options. Decent beer/wine options. Belly Dancing. Overall a great time.
Waitress attentive and friendly. Ordered 3 different entrees and all were very good as well as generous.
This was our first time, and we plan to be back often. The food is outstanding. Making a reservation is key, especially on a busy Saturday. The belly dancing and live music make for a fun atmosphere. The service was a bit slow, and our appetizer arrived at the same time as our entrees. That was the only small issue in an otherwise fantastic experience.
I made a Friday night reservation for my family during our recent trip to Minneapolis for college visits. The food was amazing and the belly dancer was fun to watch, but our server Tim was outstanding! He gave us great menu recommendations. We especially loved the saganaki, gyros and gyros burger. OPA!
Far from authentic Greek food. The lamb shank was over cooked. Horrible experience.
Great food!! Will be returning!!
The food is amazing, and the hospitality is top of the line. I am never disappointed and will go back.
Great place but a little noisy if you are looking for quiet conversation.
Service was great with nice, friendly waiters! 😊👍
We sat with empty drinks for a while. And we should not have to ask for something when it’s suppose to come with it. The gyro was missing the yogurt sauce. Server was “missing” a lot. Belly dancer was awesome!!!
My husband and I have been here a few times now and the food and service is amazing. It is now one of our top places to for a night out.
Our 4 yr old grandson was fascinated by the belly dancer and got up on stage to help dance. It was a hoot!
Ambiance and service were very good. The shawarma was tasty but had chunks of gristle in it. It made it somewhat unpleasant to eat. The Greek salad was fantastic! My dinner partner loved the pasta with gyros. I'm going back to try the baked lamb shank!
The restaurant was dirty. Floors, table and menus were sticky. Our meal came out before the appetizers. Our table got cleared while we were at the restroom so they had to remake our food which took another 45 min. Then when the bill came we gave the server our credit card and he came back and had charged us $10 more then the original bill because they remade the food that was thrown away.
Great meal and wonderful service.
The food at Ansari's Mediterranean Grill had some the best food I have ever eaten. Mediterranean food is one of my favorites and Ansari's exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. I will be back.
We have been going to Ansari's for the past decade and have never had anything less than a spectacular experience. The food, especially the salads are crisp and fresh. The staff is attentive without hovering. The food arrives in a timely manner and the portions are excellent. It is worth the time and money to dine there.
They did not have our reservation when we arrived, but we were able to be seated quickly.
We went for a family get together. The waitress was wonderful, I wish I remembered her name. The menu was full of wonderful choices. The food was awesome. Atmosphere was comfortable. Great restaurant to go to for almost any occasion.
I had the Green Eggs and Lamb - awesome as always. My wife had the casablanca with chicken and enjoyed it.
Food is typically consistently good. However this last time my schwarma sandwich was a little dry. Never had this happen before but my friend had steak and shrimp and they said it was excellent. Fun place to dine.
Sumptuous mid-eastern cuisine. the Falafel was superb. The chicken Kabobs delicious. Amazing beer selection
Buffet is great, quick delicious lunch!
The only meal available was the $20 buffet. It was not stocked super well but the food tasted pretty good. The place was fairly dirty. Like they didn’t clean it well from the night before at least. For a Mother’s Day meal it was an expensive let down. Not planning on going there again.
Great food, excellent tap list.
Tasty Mediterranean food, decent prices but very noisy bar atmosphere next to dining area
Food was excellent. I had the Taste of Greece. The chicken kabobs pieces were very moist. Many times the chicken can be dry. These were very moist and delicious. The gyro was good and the grape leaves were very good. The spinach pastry was too dry. They also had a nice selection of craft beers, which was nice and not often found at Mediterranean restaurants.
Service was very good and attentive. Food was delivered quickly. Almost too quickly. I had ordered baba ghanoush and the entry arrived shortly after. I was fine with it, but some may have preferred spacing between the two.
The restaurant is a little tired and they held bingo the night I was there for dinner. Some may like the bingo as part of their experience, but I would have preferred the bingo was held in another area. It certainly raised the noise level.
Overall, it was a good experience and you get a lot of food for the price. You definitely do not leave hungry.
Good food, wine selection, entertainment.
Smaller than I imagined but the food and service was outstanding. I'll be back again.
We really like this place. It is a fun dining experience. The Saganaki is a great starter. It is Greek cheese flamed tableside with brandy, served with pita bread. Be sure to say "opa!" Although this is a Greek restaurant, they have some non-Greek items, including burgers and fettuccine al al fredo. There is a patio where you can enjoy hookah. Some evenings there is a belly dancer.
While quite crowded, we were seated for our 630 reservation very quickly. We had two very nice and reasonably priced bottles of wine to start off with, along with a nice saganaki appetizer. The lamb shank and lamb lovers platter were tasty, as was the Gyros dinner plate.
Glad I had made a reservation, as the place was packed. Little hard to find, since it's tucked behind 2 hotels. Definitely worth finding though. All the food was delicious, and Anastasiya was a great server. It was fairly noisy, esp. when the belly dancer was doing her show. It was still a great time hanging out with my friends.
This is my favorite Mediterranean place in Minnesota, and my non-professional opinion is that the "Taste of Lebanon" is the best combination of flavors in this state. The food is consistently good, regardless of what day of the week it is.
Came here to celebrate promotion with friends on a Saturday night! Staff was attentive and fun, even when we got a little too rowdy. Its not really a rowdy place but a chill bar with amazing greek food! Hotel right across the street makes it perfect for a special night out. Amazing martinis:)
Great food, lots of menu options. Service was fast and attentive.
