Cheap for portion size, the mango lassi was massive, however food was average and service wasn't good.

The restaurant advertised a 50% lunch discount but refused to give me one. That was dishonest. Plus, the food was not good and one of the worst examples of Indian food I have had.

The place is very tastefully decorated and it feels more like an evening place - rather than lunch. We had a 50% off A La Carte menu - so tried it for a team lunch. Starters were small and disappointing. Tasted ok. Mains were much pretty for taste and portion size. Glad I wasn't paying full price - doubt i'll go again unless there is an offer. Staff were fairly good but came across slightly unexperienced. It was an okay lunch. No serious complaints but then again no major compliments either. Thanks.

I dislike leaving a negative review but this restaurant's shortfalls invite one I'm afraid. It's nice enough inside and friendly BUT, the menu choices are very limited with several 'favourites', including prawn dishes being unavailable . This a bit of a con as one of our party, upon enquiring if a prawn Dhansak was available, was offered king prawn at £12.95 (or £13.95?). This was ordered but was found seriously lacking in flavour which, for twice the price of the more tasty 'regular' prawns, was very disappointing. This was more galling because the option was only taken up because of a general lack of choice. In addition, the raitha supplied with our popodums was also particularly tasteless, the pulao rice a strange unappetising grey colour and the naan breads quite greasy. There are far better alternatives quite close by and they will get my future patronage.

First time and thought it was okay without being outstanding. Nice to see a few other people eating as well, very often with these Indian restaurant's they fail to attract a lunchtime crowd. The 50% offer is good as I felt the menu price was a bit steep compared to places of a similar nature.

Food was tasty but service was poor! Booked via the App with 30% discount however bill around with full amount! Quite disappointed with that, they knew full well we booked via app, clearly trying it on to see if they could get away with it! Wouldn't go back on this basis despite the food being nice as don't like being cheated! If you don't want to offer discounts don't provide offers via open table

I recently visited Anokha with a fellow foodie friend. We love Indian food but more than that we love food that has that extra special taste. Anokha has outstanding flavour and we should know because we tried so many dishes. From the King Prawn starter and the othe four we tried lol to the Lamb Shank and the Lamb Jalfrezy, all were exquisitely presented, staff were warm and very chatty. And oh the naan bread was soft & fluffy. Anokha also accepts the tastecard which took 50% off of food so we were over the moon.
