Anis is comprised of an inside dining room and an outside patio area that is available for seating year round, and a charming little bar where you may enjoy a meal if you wish.

The waiter was terrible she rarely took care of us forgot all we asked and then i ask for a mermelada and took 3 waiters to bring it after 30 minutes. She looked. Either had a bad day or she took something she brought us the check wrong twice Love anis cafe but this experience today was terrible.
The ambiance is very nice, I would go again for wine… but the food is severely overpriced and not executed well at all. My husband got the Steak Frites and the steak was charred and tasted just burned, with no salt or pepper or seasonings. I got the special of the night for $31… Halibut on a beet and walnut salad. The halibut was absolutely perfect, but I had one small piece of a walnut and about 1 cut up par-cooked beet on my plate. Definitely not worth the steep price. Our server was great, super attentive and kind. All in all, would never eat here again and don’t see why people love the food so much, but it’s a cute environment and nice for a glass of wine before moving to another restaurant for dinner.
Another great dinner at Anis Cafe! The mussels are delicious!
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Burkhead.
Had an amazing lovely date with my wife.
Great food and service and vibe! Festive for our baby shower lunch.
Excellent meal and service for a celebratory birthday luncheon. Will definitely go back.
First time there, lovely patio setting, safe distance between tables, cheerful good value solid French bistro menu, nice combo plates. Look forward to going back!
Anniversary dinner with family
We enjoyed the food and drink. Staff was a bit quirky, but not a total negative. Paio or outside area is funky and fun. Ran into a long lost friend. Good evening!
We always appreciate the times we spend at Anis and we recommend the restaurant on a regular basis to our friends and family. The food is delicious and the service interactive , friendly and professional. thank you, all.

Always great food, selection and service. My guest and I had the Halibut and it was awesome!
Had dinner with my wife and another couple. Service and food were excellent. Great vibe. We sat outside.
Favorite restaurant in Atlanta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We love Anis & come here for special occasions. Last night it was a mess - overcrowded noisy diners-something you can't predict. Food was sub-standard (maybe because you were slammed?) The fries were slimey after 2 tries (nothing like your standard) All wait staff seemed stressed, but somehow polite. Very very slow bar.
Our (indoor) table was OK because it was (less noisy and somewhat private.) But, dark & dingy. Even a couple of candles on the table would have helped. Unfortunately, I don't think our friends, their first time there, would come back.
We'll give it another try but not on a weekend ever again.
Establishment was quaint and the food was amazing. Would definitely visit again.
Great little place hidden away in Buckhead. Not pretentious as many as the restaurants in the area, but a nice relaxing vibe in a great atmosphere. Food was outstanding and reasonable price. The service was outstanding, our server was knowledgeable, helpful, and very attentive. The ambiance is very inviting with a little eclectic. Been here before 20 years ago and it's just as great as it was back then.
Excellent food. Possibly the best calamari I have ever eaten. Service was on point up until the very end, but in their defense they did get very busy. Will definitely go back.
Great ambiance. Delicious food and drink. Even at our small table it was sometimes difficult to hear each other with the talk and the music. But the live music was a very fun vibe!
Loved the music. Always great food. As with most restaurants these days, seem to be under staffed. Hard to hire new employees.
Good! Friends cam in from out of town and really enjoyed our lunch.
The service is excellent and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful time.
Always, always a great experience. We had my favorite corner table, so that was the bonus.
Efficient and friendly. Food was delicious (I had halibut and my wife had the salmon). Attentive service. Quaint atmosphere though the tables can be a bit small for taller people. A very nice experience overall.
We had a wonderful evening! Food was delicious and atmosphere was excellent.
Food was great. Only negative, we ordered the cheese platter as an app and had to order the bread basket separately because they serve nothing with which to eat the cheese. They aught to serve crackers or something. Probably won't order that again. That being said, at our table, we had 2 halibut specials, a trout and a salmon. One of our party had to send his salmon back because it was too rare (it wasn't the usual medium). But, they were very accommodating about it. Pretty good service considering they were packed to the rafters. We got there early, but, by 7 it was impossible to hear because it was so loud. And, that was on the patio. I would prefer a week night, I think, when it's less busy. But, all in all, a pretty good experience.
This place always delivered good food and a great atmosphere.
The setting was beautiful. All our food was wonderful and the service as well.
Lovely spot to meet up for a variety of reasons. Only minor complaint is red wine was served about room temp (70+ F), but it didn’t detract much from the meal/pairing if that’s your thing.
We went to Anis on a Sunday evening of a holiday weekend, and had been there 2 times before. It was quite busy, but we were seated promptly. While we got water quickly, it was about 10-15 minutes before a waiter came by. In fact my husband had gone to check with the maitre’d when the waiter finally stopped by. We were seated near the kitchen and the waiters were literally running past us constantly, shaking the floor as they raced past. Someone had certainly put a fire under them, as they were very stressed. To say the waiters were casually dressed would be an understatement. In the previous visit, the waiter was very chatty to the table next to us, and during their meal actually made a date with two of the women to meet up later that evening and go out.
We ordered, and the food came pretty quickly. The waiter tossed the food on our table and quickly ran away. Food was ok, but nothing special, hardly worth the price.
Loved the outdoor patio, the food was delicious (especially the desserts), service was great and we had a wonderful time. Will definitely go there again.
Great meal, wonderful setting.
Incredible!! We will certainly be back!
Love this neighborhood porch dining.
Food is great.
Anis is one of our favorite restaurants - a must go when we're in Atlanta. It reminds us so much of the small cafes in the French countryside, especially South of France. We prefer to eat in the Anis main restaurant as the temperature is more comfortable. In the small villages of France, the inside restaurant is a premium and often by reservation only unless it's not a busy evening. Otherwise, you're generally seated in the outdoor area (mostly sidewalk space).
Food at Anis is wonderfully delicious. You will savor each bite. This visit we had the mussels and escargot for starters followed by steak frites which was amazing. A light dessert with a noisette brought to a tasty end of our dinner. Loved it!
We have just moved to Atlanta from California where the food scene is pretentious. This could not have been more different. Set in a garden like atmosphere with eclectic art strewn about , the cafe almost smiles at you when you arrive. The wait staff certainly do! They are joyful out the food they serve and seem genuine in their welcoming of
We are there every week or two. Love it.
All was good. Our server was not as friendly as I have experienced in the past. When we were clearly finished with our meal no one picked up our plates and it took a long time for our server to check on us - and they weren’t that busy at that time.
I always love an excuse to share Anis with out-of-town friends in Atlanta for a visit. The food never disappoints, and when you hear French being spoken among the guests and staff, the overall experience is authenticated!
we were celebrating a 75th birthday and had a wonderful time
We LOVE Anis Cafe! It's definitely one of our favorite Atlanta restaurants! The staff is like family and always takes care of us:)!
