My birthday. Our reservations were for later, but when we arrived early, they were happy to accommodate us, as usual. Wonderful experience!!!☺️😊
Do not miss the escargot! My trout was fabulous! Steak frites was fabulous!
Our waiter was excellent!
Excellent food and very friendly service. My wife and I have been here several times even though it is a 45 minutes ride for us!
Charming. Soho/the village vibe. Very Good food. Consistent and reliable for a laid back lunch or dinner
Neither of us finished our meal. Steak was tough and not flavorful. The fries were limp and unevenly cooked. The sausages were overcooked.
Mussels were small and several not open. Trout was dry needed more brown butter. Steak was the star of the day. Love this place but I think they need a better quality control system.
They do really well with custom requests and being attentive. Terrific location, food, and change of scenery from your typical ATL restaurant.
Food was good; Service was poor - they are clearly understaffed. It took 10-15 minutes for somebody to approach out table after we were seated.
Great patio work experience on a beautiful day. Great service.
Once our order was taken we never saw our server again. Appetizer plates weren’t cleared before entrees were brought to the table.
This my husband and my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. We rarely eat out, but almost always go here when we do. The food is always delicious, and last night was no exception. My husband always orders the mussels. Last night he got the appetizer portion of mussels, and we ordered the dinner specials (halibut and pork chop). All were outstanding, as were the profiteroles, which we also order every time we go. The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful. We love sitting out on the patio, which is very charming and protected from the street. My only complaint about our experience last night was that we were seated directly in the line of several fans that were blowing so strongly that I felt like I was in a wind tunnel. Next time I will ask to be seated away from the fans.
Sat outdoors on a warm evening but they had fans going so it was pleasant. Had the Anis special with salmon, soup and salad. All were very good. It was a Monday evening and the restaurant was full inside and outside. Service was quick and friendly.
I got the halibut special, which was good, but a bit dry and overcooked. My husband had the tortellini and braised beef, which he really liked. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful. When we arrived, it wasn't crowded and the service was fast; however, as it became more crowded the service was much slower than I would have liked. We did a lot of waiting around.
Anis has upscale food and a casual atmosphere. It's a great place for a business lunch.
I had the Niçoise salad and, honestly, it’s the worse thing I’ve ever had there. A few pathetic looking pieces of tuna, some sad green beans and half of a hard boiled egg. I am a huge fan of this place and will definitely go back but will never order this again. Back to mussels and frites for me!
My favorite restaurant! The trout is the best in town!
Second time and amazing. Love the atmosphere and service and food is top notch.
It’s always yummy. Service is great and the wine list is always excellent. It’s been our favorite for many years!
Always a good experience
The waiter was terrible she rarely took care of us forgot all we asked and then i ask for a mermelada and took 3 waiters to bring it after 30 minutes. She looked. Either had a bad day or she took something she brought us the check wrong twice Love anis cafe but this experience today was terrible.
The ambiance is very nice, I would go again for wine… but the food is severely overpriced and not executed well at all. My husband got the Steak Frites and the steak was charred and tasted just burned, with no salt or pepper or seasonings. I got the special of the night for $31… Halibut on a beet and walnut salad. The halibut was absolutely perfect, but I had one small piece of a walnut and about 1 cut up par-cooked beet on my plate. Definitely not worth the steep price. Our server was great, super attentive and kind. All in all, would never eat here again and don’t see why people love the food so much, but it’s a cute environment and nice for a glass of wine before moving to another restaurant for dinner.
Another great dinner at Anis Cafe! The mussels are delicious!
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Burkhead.
Had an amazing lovely date with my wife.
Great food and service and vibe! Festive for our baby shower lunch.
Excellent meal and service for a celebratory birthday luncheon. Will definitely go back.
First time there, lovely patio setting, safe distance between tables, cheerful good value solid French bistro menu, nice combo plates. Look forward to going back!
Anniversary dinner with family
We enjoyed the food and drink. Staff was a bit quirky, but not a total negative. Paio or outside area is funky and fun. Ran into a long lost friend. Good evening!
We always appreciate the times we spend at Anis and we recommend the restaurant on a regular basis to our friends and family. The food is delicious and the service interactive , friendly and professional. thank you, all.

Always great food, selection and service. My guest and I had the Halibut and it was awesome!
Had dinner with my wife and another couple. Service and food were excellent. Great vibe. We sat outside.
Favorite restaurant in Atlanta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We love Anis & come here for special occasions. Last night it was a mess - overcrowded noisy diners-something you can't predict. Food was sub-standard (maybe because you were slammed?) The fries were slimey after 2 tries (nothing like your standard) All wait staff seemed stressed, but somehow polite. Very very slow bar.
Our (indoor) table was OK because it was (less noisy and somewhat private.) But, dark & dingy. Even a couple of candles on the table would have helped. Unfortunately, I don't think our friends, their first time there, would come back.
We'll give it another try but not on a weekend ever again.
Establishment was quaint and the food was amazing. Would definitely visit again.
Great little place hidden away in Buckhead. Not pretentious as many as the restaurants in the area, but a nice relaxing vibe in a great atmosphere. Food was outstanding and reasonable price. The service was outstanding, our server was knowledgeable, helpful, and very attentive. The ambiance is very inviting with a little eclectic. Been here before 20 years ago and it's just as great as it was back then.
Excellent food. Possibly the best calamari I have ever eaten. Service was on point up until the very end, but in their defense they did get very busy. Will definitely go back.
Great ambiance. Delicious food and drink. Even at our small table it was sometimes difficult to hear each other with the talk and the music. But the live music was a very fun vibe!
Loved the music. Always great food. As with most restaurants these days, seem to be under staffed. Hard to hire new employees.
Good! Friends cam in from out of town and really enjoyed our lunch.
