   I have been going to this restaurant for a couple of decades. It's always been a pleasant experience. This time was as well, mostly because of my company. The host and server were very courteous. We sat outside, and you would think the noise level from conversations would dissipate, but not so much. But, I guess it was always like that. I had to ask for a cocktail menu, I guess they assume everyone drinks wine with lunch? Anyway, the gin drink I ordered was delicious. Both my companion and I ordered the chicken salad sandwich sans the bread, which they happy to accommodate. I don't understand restaurants (there are many) that offer chicken salad sandwiches, but not just the salad plate. [Neiman-Marcus has the best! A scoop of salad, orange souffle, a little fruit, and banana bread with either honey butter or cream cheese. I'll have to remember for next time.] I ordered salad with mine; my friend got chips. I wish I had. The salad was a big handful of arugula & maybe some other lettuces, with a few wedges of tomato and dressing on the side (which I appreciated, as I dipped my chicken salad in it.) The chicken was a bit dry and could've used more mayonnaise, thus dipping it in the salad dressing. Don't be in a hurry when you eat here, although courteous and not overly attentive, they're a bit unhurried, shall we say. Normally, I don't care, but I had my daughter's car and needed to pick her up at a certain time. I also had the escargot and it was lovely. Usually, the meals I've had have been good, but I might stick to the quiche. All in all, a pleasant lunch or dinner place: cute, pleasant atmosphere, nice staff and valet parking. I'm sure I'll be back and would recommend.

   Unfortunately our first experience at Anis did not meet our expectations. The atmosphere was lovely however the Mothers Day buffet left much to be desired. The hot food was cold and the cold food was room temperature. The space was not conducive to a buffet set up. Im sure it is great any other time when ordering from the menu but the buffet was disappointing.

   Six of us sat outside and enjoyed a fabulous evening. Service was exceptional and the food scrumptious. We’ve been going to Anis for decades and it has never disappointed.

   Delicious food at reasonable price! Outdoor dining, wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about wine and food menus. Helpful suggestions.

   We were celebrating a University Graduate. As usual, the food was great, the service was special. We had a drink at the bar prior to being seated and barkeep was very nice. The bar is also a good place to have dinner.

   Loved every minute- our server, Dali, was absolutely incredible. Efficient, kind, patient, and knowledgeable about the offerings on the menu. My girlfriend and I stayed much longer than anticipated because Dali was so incredible! Escargot- an amazing app. Petite filet was perfection!

    Delicious food, generous portions, attentive service and a great atmosphere! The loup de mere, salmon and mussels were all wonderful.
