   We’d suggest this restaurant for dinner with visiting friends from the US. The menu was good but the food was just fine rather than impressive. No flourishes and no garnish so just a steak on a plate with a bowl of chips wasn’t going to wow anybody. The quality was good overall.

   The food and drinks were excellent. The service was informative and friendly. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

   Had a wonderful family style dinner for 6 last evening with exceptional service. We tried most of the menu and enjoyed it all, steaks cooked to perfection. Crab cake was so light and delicious and our server absolutely made it a perfect evening!! Hope to visit again someday and definitely will return!

   A lovely solo date - excellent wine, the staff were lovely - the crab on a crumpet was delicious - wish I had space for dessert!

   We love this restaurant. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The food is amazing and the cosy atmosphere keeps calling us back.

    Superb food, probably the best cooked steak I have ever eaten. Staff were attentive without being intrusive and the setting was lovely. This is a fantastic place for dibber
